It was a perfect two-hour tour, accommodating about 30+ guests, including a pastor who was able to come on board to lead the service. Everything looked pristine, with white tablecloths on all the tables, and they were so accommodating in letting us bring in our own floral arrangements to personalize the space. The setup was incredibly quick and easy, thanks to their modern amenities, including a casting system for the television and a Bluetooth-compatible sound system for our music. we held a biodegradable floral release off of the back of the boat for a memorial service. A special thank you to Stephanie for helping us coordinate and to Captain Todd and all of the amazing staff for being so accommodating. Despite some rain, they made sure everything was flawless for our small, intimate event. This wasn't our first time with Paradise Charter Cruises; we have enjoyed many casual cruises and family events with them on Lake Minnetonka over the years. Every time has been wonderful, and this was yet another perfect event to honor my mom. To top it all off, my husband, my eight-year-old son, and I returned for a follow-up cruise a couple of days later to enjoy the lake and reflect on the celebration. they gave my son special captain privileges which were part of an amazing memory. Both models were 2 floors generally nice. I did like this most recent one better because it had a front deck and way better seating areas in my opinion. Staff were nice. The bar/snack options were only okay in my opinion. Very limited to type of drinks they could mix and also a tiny bit of inconsistency depending on who made the drink. The drinks were reasonably priced. The rental package I guess required a meal plan - which chips and salsa and veggie tray were chosen. They also sold a few snacks at the bar (a few typical bar snacks). We were able to use our own device to place music via an aux. It was a 2 hr event, we had so much fun the time went by really fast. I am extremely disappointed with our experience renting a boat and tube from Your Boat Club on July…read more20. We picked up our boat at 2:30 p.m., and before we even left the marina, the boat was making a noticeable grinding noise, that the sales person heard too. Once we got out onto the lake and increased our speed, the noise temporarily went away, so we assumed everything was okay. We were on Lake Mille Lacs and found a calmer area to take our children tubing. Before leaving the marina, we specifically asked whether tubing life jackets were included, and we were told yes. However, when we got to our tubing spot, the only life jackets on board were the standard orange emergency vests. We had to return all the way to the marina to get the proper life jackets, only to be given three youth jackets \(50-90 lbs\.\) and one adult jacket. Our group consisted of two adults and two teenagers, so we didn't even have enough properly sized life jackets for everyone to tube. We had to share jackets, meaning not everyone could participate at the same time. After tubing for about two hours, we were heading back when the boat suddenly made the same loud grinding noise and completely stopped working. My husband immediately began calling for assistance while the boat drifted across the lake toward shore. Eventually, he had to get out and manually walk the boat to a nearby dock to keep us safe. What happened next was even more frustrating. We waited nearly three hours for them to look at the boat. A salesperson and someone introduced as a mechanic arrived, but the mechanic appeared to be intoxicated. He actually fell into the lake while attempting to inspect the boat, nearly striking his head on it. The owner of the dock witnessed the incident and asked him to leave because he was so impaired. That was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. To his credit, the salesperson was polite, apologetic, and drove us back to our vehicle, which we appreciated. However, that does not make up for the experience. My husband started calling for help around 4:30 p.m., and we didn't make it back to our car until approximately 7:30 p.m. We lost a significant portion of the five-hour rental that we paid for through no fault of our own. To make matters worse, I have now received a bill for $750 in repairs. I find this completely unacceptable. The boat was making grinding noises before we ever left the marina, and it ultimately failed because of what appears to have been a pre-existing mechanical issue. We should not be held financially responsible for repairing a boat that was already experiencing problems. This rental turned what should have been a fun family day into a stressful and frustrating experience. I hope Your Boat Club carefully reviews what happened, reconsiders these repair charges, and takes steps to ensure future customers are provided with safe, properly maintained equipment and adequate safety gear.

We had our daughter's wedding here and long story short, after our initial venue cancelled on us 2 weeks before the wedding, we scrambled and found the 5120 venue. All week there was going to be chance of storms so we wanted to wait it out and see if it was going to be accurate or not. The cancellation policy on the day of is for weather only (rain, high winds etc). So it's now the day of a reservation (11-7) at 9 am and it's severe thunderstorm watch all day. I call at 9 and ask if we're able to get a full refund, they say no because they have to wait to see if it's going to be bad weather during our reservation time. Fair. I call back at 1045 to cancel because I see it's going to be bad all day, not worth going out at all for $750 or even a partial refund of 375 to go out for half the day. I was still charged the $100 cancellation fee even though the weather was no good. It's upsetting they tried to get me to do a half day on the water when an hour into our reservation it's been lighting. We live an hour away from this location so none of it made sense for us to commit to this reservation unfortunately. If you don't want to go through what I did with no sympathy, either book another company, but your own boat, or cancel 3 days ahead of time

Rented 9 kayaks for a three hour ride down Rice Creek. Was a…read morewonderful, memorable day my whole family wants to repeat annually now! The kayaks & paddles are in brand new condition. The owner, John, gave us a refresher course on shore on how to paddle efficiently and steer correctly. (We had a newbie in our bunch and the rest of us hadn't kayaked in years...) John also took group photos of us on land and in water! Priceless! Loved Rice Creek and it's twisty water trail through marshy land and woods. We saw many bird types and turtles! I felt transported to a wilderness, yet didn't have to drive forever... To end up at Long Lake Beach was the perfect place to end a fun journey!
