Nice concrete double gated entry area but I am sure the dogs would have much preferred the grass just be left alone then the nice concrete bone in the middle of the park. Fortunately they have one of every agility item as well as multiple poop bag dispensers and trash cans. Both the big and the small dog park also have covered seating areas. But the one thing lacking is room for the dogs to run and places to park other than at the curb. I do have water in both parks.

There is plenty of parking just across the street. The park is a one-size-fits-all so there is only the one part that I saw. There is a nice double-gated entry area although the fire hydrant is on the outside of the dog park? There is a nice water facility as well as boot bag holders and trash cans. There are a couple picnic tables to sit on as well as a little bench of some sort. The dog park is on a little bit of a hill so if you walk around the interior of the fence line you get a good exercise. There are bushes and trees for your dog to enjoy.

That being said, this park is close by and I've been here with #1 daughter's two sweet cockers (out grandpuppies :-) and with friends and neighbors so I'm go here from m time to take me. Here's some big news today (August 2, 2021) The City of Gulf Shores has noticed an increase in personal chairs and belongings being brought in and left at the dog park. For the safety and enjoyment of our park users, we are going to install permanent park benches. Moving forward, in order to adequately maintain the dog park, we ask that all personal items, including chairs, be removed from the dog park DAILY. We are committed to providing a beautiful, safe, and well-maintained facility for our residents and pets. All items left in the park after August 13th will be removed and disposed of. Our fence still has some damage from Hurricane Sally, but be on the lookout for repairs to that soon! #LeaveOnlyPawPrints Bottom line: It's a great little doggie park but yo can start leaving your chairs at home and if you've left one here, come got it.

One small thing is I wish there was lighting when it was getting dark. It's probably closed after dark but sometimes you gotta burn a little doggie energy off before bed and it's pitch black out there. We were just visiting from out of town but we went twice a day fir the whole trip! We miss this park!

A nice little park on the water with pavilions and picnic tables.It has playgrounds,walkways,boat…read moredocks,boat ramps,etc.You can boat,fish,walk,play,pic nic,etc..The only takeaway is the bathrooms.I would suggest a total renovation and cameras added to keep them in good shape and locking it down at night.This was done back home and made a world of a difference.Still a nice park on the water.Check out the next The Working Man Review.

This dog park is located on the road that goes past the sonic and ollie's, up the hill to a four…read moreway, and then take a left. It is pretty bare bones for a dog park, and it seems as if there hasn't been much updating in years. They have a side for smaller dogs and a side for larger breed dogs; however, people love to bring in their beloved chihuahua and then proceed to get angry when a mastiff tries to play with it.. common sense here people. They have an "in ground" water bowl with a faucet for the dogs on both sides. For the dogs they have three concrete tubes to...go through? They have a incline board for them to walk over, and then one plywood board with a hole cut in the middle for a dog to jump through. Other than that it's just a larger open space for dogs to run in a caged in area. Would be nice for them to add some more dog related activities into the park. There are two benches with covering to sit under for the humans. As well as a bag dispenser for you to ACTUALLY pick up after your dog..*cough cough* Also.. there is no lighting after sunset so beware..
