We got Combo 3 MHMMMM so good!! Good portions for 4-5. We definitely had leftovers. Service was amazing, the store was clean, and the food came out fast. 1 of the top chicken restaurants in San Diego!!! Tyty :D

Finger licking good! And no it's not KFC!! Started off with some dumplings. After, we had spicy original wings and boneless secret sauce. As sides, we had white rice with an egg. Gotta say the wings compete with wing stop, wings n things and Buffalo Wild Wings! Customer Service was good and tables were clean. Parking a bit snug but we made it work. I'll be back to try the other flavors.

I will admit, I didn't think I would like it. I was wrong. Portions are great. Chicken was good. Staff was friendly. Decor was cute! I would recommend this to people looking for good Korean fried chicken. We left full with plenty of leftovers!

This place is just amazing. If you like wings this is a must. I got the Spicy Original Wings. A nice heat with lots of crunch. So dang good!! I also got the Gangjeong Boneless and so good. I think the spicy original is my favorite. Amazing texture and flavor. So good!

Their newest location. They have a couple of tables to dine in. I'd say about 10 tables and can fit about 40 people. I came on a Saturday night close to closing time and it was still pretty packed. I'd say about 75% full. There is a small waiting area outside with limited seating. Parking closes to the restaurant is small and if you're not paying attention, you can easily get hit. The restaurant itself is tucked away in the back of the plaza. It's a chain restaurant which is news to me. You walk in and order at the counter. The ordering space is pretty small so there's a little bit of pressure to order because the line can quickly build up. I wished the menu was a bit more spelled out. Had to ask the cashier their thoughts and what was the flavor of most of the chicken since there wasn't much info on it other than the quick write up. But they seemed slightly preoccupied. Got two types of chicken including Gangjeong Wings and Spicy Galbi Wings. Found both to be slightly disappointing. I had other korean fried chicken and this failed in comparison to it. Wasn't as crispy, saucy, or flavorful as I was expecting or wanting. I got hints of the flavor on some wings but it wasn't on every piece. I don't think the price reflected the quality. It took semi long to reach the table and was also somewhat warm. Solid lighting and they were playing a mixture of Pop and Kpop there. It doesn't crack my top ten of korean bbq spaces. But if you're looking for variety of flavors and are adventurous, or if you need to feed a family of 4, or if this is your first time trying Korean BBQ, then this might work well for you. I think I'll pass on coming back here again. Nothing really stood out.

These guys make a pretty good fried spicy chicken sandwich. I liked that the chicken was plump and juicy on the inside, not to mention flavorful and tasty. The outside had a very good crispiness about it and a medium spiciness. The fried chicken was great. The sandwich came with an Asian slaw, which was tasty, but it was to water. As a result, it soaked into the bottom bun a but. I did like that they toasted the buns and did not overdo with the mayo and sauce they placed on the chicken. The service was very friendly and polite. The young lady at the counter had a peppy personality. Oh yes! Offer pickles, they would be just grand on this spicy chicken sandwich.

Trust the hype yah'll-- BB.Q Chicken really is best of the best ! I am so excited to welcome them to my backyard-- College AREAAAA ! Let me tell you about my visit today ! I've been seeing BB.Q Chicken popping up all over town/social media and been wanting to check them out ever since . I saw that their soft-opening for this brand new College Area location was this past weekend and decided to drop-in for an early dinner this evening . Location is busy; it shares the same parking lot as Crab Pub and Tajima-- but cars come and go pretty quickly . We walked right in and was greeted by the hostess who said we could choose any table-- of course I chose the table with the best lighting ... for photos/videos lol . She took our order and explained to us the specials for the family combos since we had the kids with us . Here's what we had: Family combos #3 is a steal for $75.99-- you get 24 piece wings OR boneless wings, dukbokki OR kimchi fried rice, 2 rice, 2 coleslaw, and 3 pickled radish . We opted for this ! HONEY GARLIC WINGS-- FLAVORTOWN ! Sweet, savory, lightly garlicky-- such a heavenly bite . Batter was crisp and chicken was juicy . Also, love the fact that it's the perfect sauce to chicken ratio . I highly recommend this flavor 10/10 ! SOY GARLIC WINGS (NO SAUCE)-- because we had the kids, we needed a plain naked wing; so we got the soy garlic with no sauce cause my son is so picky with sauces . The cook came out to confirm we wanted plain wings -- yes lol . Regardless, of the plain fried chicken wing, it still was soo delicious . It remind us of a McDonald chicken nugget batter, but crispier, fresher, and of course battered over a juicy chicken wing . We ordered the side of their spicy hot sauce for dipping (spicy gochujang based) and it was a WINNER . 9/10 ROSE DUKBOKKI-- perfectly creamy and sauce is sooo tasty ! This is great for ones who can't enjoy too much spice . Still jammed packed with flavor, rice cakes were long, thick, and chewy . Fish cakes were thin and sweet and loved the addition of mixed veggies . My daughter drizzled this sauce all over her rice, tossed her plain chicken wings, AND dipped the fries into ! Only thing is I wish the egg yolk was jammy-- it was hard boiled . STILL A MUST TRY !! 8.5/10 Rice was fresh . Fries were crisp and flakey-- the good stuff . Coleslaw was coleslawing . Pickled radish is soo refreshing and a great palette cleanser . OVERALL, we really enjoyed our meal ! Customer service was good, the cook was really sweet and explained to us the chicken is cooked fresh to order and apologized for the wait -- we only waited about 15 minutes; no worries at all ! The chicken really was fresh and steaming hot brought to our table . We were the only ones dining-in at the time, but I did see a few grub hub orders get picked up . There's only about 8 tables or so and restaurant was very clean . I'm sure they'll get busier soon as the word gets out they're now in College Area . I am soo happy they're here and hope they stay ! I will be back to try all the other flavors soon and give you an update (:

I've visited the Carolinas many times when I lived in the east coast and had some of the best biscuit sandwiches that I've ever had. It's nice to have this biscuit place in San Diego. The first time I tried Rise Southern Biscuits, was during Yelp Elite week. I used their phone App to place my order but I highly recommend that you place your orders inside the restaurant because the phone App doesn't have the full menu. I notified the owner about it. It's missing a lot of the sweet options like the blueberry beignets and fresh donuts etc. The owner indicated that he would notify corporate about the missing items on the App. I ordered 4 blueberry sausage biscuits and 3 plain biscuits on the App. The biscuits were pretty big and the blueberry biscuits were covered in a delicious sweet glaze. Once inside the store, I placed the order for the blueberry beignets. I spent a total of $53 dollars. These biscuits are not cheap but are made fresh daily. With the 3 plain butter biscuits, I ended up making my own bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. FYI, It's a lot cheaper buying the biscuits separately and making your own sandwiches at home. All said and done, my parents really enjoyed the biscuits and beignets. If you decide to dine in, there's plenty of seating. I look forward to trying their Nashville chicken sandwich next time. Give it a try! Happy Yelping :)

Solid place for a quick bite, especially if you're looking for simple comfort food done well. I would come back again.

Every time I'm in Little Italy, there's always a line, and I've often wondered, "Is this chicken really that good?" Well...today I found out! The menu offers plenty of tempting options, but I kept it simple with the 3-piece chicken meal, which came with a choice of fries or vegetables, a drink, and a giant chocolate chip cookie. You can also add extra chicken tenders for just $2.50 each, which is a great deal if you're extra hungry. Everything came out fresh to order. The chicken was hot, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the fries were perfectly hot and crispy. One thing I really liked was their unique soda fountain with several cream soda flavors, lemonade, and tea options. And let's talk about that cookie--it was huge, warm, loaded with chocolate chips, and topped with a light sprinkle of salt that made it even better. The dipping sauces definitely deserve their own shout-out. The pineapple mustard sauce was unlike anything I've had before--sweet, tangy, and incredibly addictive. I also loved the smoky barbecue sauce, which paired perfectly with the chicken. Customer service was another highlight. Everyone greeted us with a smile and patiently answered our questions. I could tell one of the cashiers was still learning, but what stood out was how supportive the rest of the team was. One of the employees was bouncing between helping customers, answering menu questions, recommending popular items, and assembling orders in the back without missing a beat. I always appreciate seeing genuine teamwork, and you could tell everyone was working together to make sure customers had a great experience. The atmosphere was just as enjoyable as the food. I loved the laid-back "shack" vibe with the covered outdoor patio, bar area, picnic tables, and even a cornhole setup off to the side. Music was playing, creating a fun atmosphere, and once the evening cooled down, the overhead heaters made the patio feel extra cozy. There was plenty of seating, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy your meal. Needless to say, I can finally understand why there's almost always a line here. I'm honestly wondering why I waited so long to try it for myself! I'll definitely be back, and next time I'm giving one of their chicken sandwiches a try. As always...I don't gatekeep--I just put you on game! If you're ever in Little Italy, do yourself a favor and stop by. If you're a fan of great chicken tenders, delicious sauces, and a fun atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth checking out. You can thank me later.

The chicken sandwich was crunchy and flavorful, but it was not spicy one bit. I believe that the restaurant should allow its customers to choose a spice level. The great thing is that they are not stingy with the sauces and have a sauce bar where you are not handcuffed to small packets of sauce you get elsewhere. If you want to watch a game and grab a drink too, they have a bar area and they also have a small area where kids can play. Definitely a great spot.

We told him we would absolutely come back to support the business because we wanted to see them succeed. Unfortunately, our return visit tonight was the complete opposite experience. After arriving, there was essentially no service or acknowledgment, so we quietly decided to leave. As we were walking away, one of the employees actually chased us down outside. All I said was, "I wish you luck with your new business." Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee confronted us and scolded us with, "Why are you being so rude?" That completely caught us off guard. We had not raised our voices, complained, or caused any scene whatsoever. We were simply disappointed customers trying to leave respectfully. What confuses me most is how a brand-new business trying to build a customer base could treat supportive first-time customers this way. First impressions matter, but so do second chances -- and sadly, this experience ensured we won't be returning.

I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.
