Such a great place to stop by for a quick bite. They are fast, efficient, and friendly! I love their hot buffalo fries. They are freshly made and the chicken is always good perfectly. They don't use breaded chicken which I like. You can tell they cut their own chicken rather than using tenders. They also play most major sports! They have 4 TVs to be able to watch comfortably. They have plenty of seating for large groups to bring and rally!!

San Diego Wings... the moniker sounds straight forward, however the business is located way east in Lemon Grove as opposed to within the SD city limits. Permanent signage had not been placed on the marquee yet as there was a temporary banner flapping in the wind. I never tried the predecessor in this suite so I can't comment on how much the interior had been refurbished. There were two service counters with the main one dead ahead when you walked in. The second one was in the back right corner and seemed to be for the preparation of beverages like milkshakes. The tables in the dining area could seat around 40 people and were very clean when I arrived as there were no customers. A flat screen TV hung on the right wall that was showing a live sporting event. Judging from the business name, you would think that this was strictly a chicken shop. The menu displayed more than chicken with appetizers, buffalo fries, burgers, and salads on one screen. The other screens had the tenders, traditional and boneless wings, a chicken wrap, a chicken burrito, and salt & pepper wings. The prices didn't seem out of range with those from competitors, but it was the special daily deals that provided the best value. I chose a six-piece of the Salt & Pepper Wings that cost $12.99. Because it was a weekend, the price included a side of french fries and a soft drink. Instead of a cup from the soda fountain, the worker gave me a can of iced tea from a refrigerator. About 15 minutes later, my order was ready. The fries were hot from the fryer and placed in a separate plastic container. The larger takeout box held the chicken wings that had a thick crispy crust with lots of pepper flakes sprinkled on the exterior. The flavor of the wings was saltier than I preferred, but the pieces were definitely crispy. The fries were ordinary and did not stand out in any way. I also noticed that only one man was running the entire place which was not an issue because of the low customer volume. I did enjoy my takeout meal enough to give San Diego Wings a four star rating.

I had a pretty good chicken wrap from this new place in Lemon Grove. I ordered chicken wrap with a spinach tortilla for $12. They also offer bone in wings, boneless wings, buffalo fries, burgers, more wraps, salads, and milk shakes. The wraps came with chopped crispy fried chicken tenders, chopped lettuce and tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and your choice of sauce. I went for the garlic Parmesan sauce. The wrap was tasty and I liked that the chicken tenders kept their texture. The chicken was tender and the garlic parm sauce was tasty. The lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions were good. I did think that the wrap needed more girth or more ingredients. I think it was a one man crew when I visited, so items took a little long to come out on the kitchen, not that I was upset or anything. They are just getting under way so I understand. They offer plenty of inside seating.

This place is so awesome!! Hayley is an incredible employee and she was very knowledgeable and so kind to us! She's a reason to go there, but let's get to the fun stuff! The food is SOO good! The place is clean, free street parking, and prices are very fair considering the food!! I was impressed with everything we got! My son and I shared the large buffalo chicken fries and we added the fried shrimp and hot Cheetos to it, it was amazing! Best buffalo chicken fries I've had in my life! Perfect amount of sauce and ranch and I was so impressed because sometimes they come out so dry at places, but nahh it was perfect! The fries were so good too and not soggy at all, it was seriously so good! We also got an order of the salt and pepper chicken wings! These are incredible and it had such a nice garlic flavor! No need to go to National city now when I get my craving for them! Overall this place is 10/10! I'd recommend it to anyone I know! Also....they've got sports on a few tv's so it was awesome to be able to watch the Padres game while relaxing! Hidden gem in Lemon Grove!

This spot just opened up in the old Buffalo Spot location, and let me tell you--it's already outshining its predecessor. I met the owner himself, and not only is he from San Diego, but he's the one who personally prepared my meal. That kind of hands-on care shows. I ordered the medium buffalo fries with extra chicken, and wow--moist, flavorful, perfectly cooked. The fries were tasty, the chicken was juicy, and the "hot" level had just the right kick without being overwhelming. Honestly, these fries are fire. If you loved the Buffalo Spot, you'll be obsessed with this version. It's a serious upgrade, what we need in LG especially if you love your buffalo fries like me The menu is bigger, the vibe is local, and the owner is a genuinely kind dude. I love that they honor military service with their emblem--it adds a unique, respectful touch to the space. Whether you're a wing lover, a fry fanatic, or just curious, this place deserves your support. Especially now that the Buffalo Spot is gone, hopefully the place is hear to stay and deliver. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. For now, I'm giving a big shoutout to those buffalo fries.

I normally don't write reviews but today I have to because every time I come here on my lunch, Israel is always so kind. The food is hot and fresh. I get the Spicy Orange chicken wings and man is it good! He always hooks it up with a small soda lol I will keeping spending my money here because the service and food is great!

Ordered some salt and pepper wings today and they are bussin! Super crispy and yummy!

    Special #1

This place just opened! Selling similar items as the buffalo spot, but better! Better quality, better taste. It's a "one man show" right now, so you may need to ring the bell because he may be in the back cooking. Back when Buffalo Spot was in this location, I got upset that they only had one employee (corporate greed/poor customer service/Poor food quality). However, I'm willing to cut some slack for a small business trying to make it on his own. Especially, when the quality is good. Salt & pepper chicken wings are amazing! The boneless wings and the tenders are also very good. They are cooked just right.

They opening a family sports bar soon it's in the works. Great appetizers too.!

I already gave this spot a five star review, it's a brand new spot.. The food is great. I'm actually going there again today. Hahahaha Highly recommend a spot .! Support your local business Lemon Grove .! You don't have to drive any further to get some bomb food. Save your gas on time obviously that equals to money. The prices are good because the portions are pretty damn good.

The fried chicken is still crispy, addictive, and mostly consistent between locations. I'd pick Korean fried chicken over American fried chicken chains any day, but the items here are quite pricey. I chose the spiciest one and moved on with my life. After a wait, he brings out bone‑in wings. I remind him I ordered boneless, and suddenly I'm trapped in a loop where he keeps repeating, "That sauce does not come on boneless," as if the universe itself forbids it. This would've been excellent information to share before cooking the wrong thing, but here we are. He eventually checks with the back and offers boneless with the second‑spiciest sauce, which at this point feels like a hostage negotiation. I accept. The boneless arrives. It's dark meat (not my favorite). The sauce is sticky sweet gochujang with a personality crisis. And the only dip option is ranch. No bleu cheese. No dignity. Nothing tasted bad. Nothing was inedible. But the whole experience felt like ordering chicken inside a bureaucratic escape room. Fresh food, sure, but the communication gaps and sauce‑based existentialism made the visit exhausting rather than exciting.

I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.

The wings were a really good size--not tiny--and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, so you can actually enjoy the flavor instead of just burning your mouth off. The fries were also solid--crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. You can tell they actually care about how their food comes out, not just throwing stuff together. I also tried their ranch, and it was really good (definitely needed more though, they don't give a ton ). The service was quick and smooth. Staff seemed chill and didn't take long to get the order out, even though it was a bit busy when I went. The place itself had a relaxed, casual vibe--good for just hanging out or grabbing food with friends. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because I wish the portion of sides/sauces was a little bigger, especially for the price. But overall, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. If you're looking for a reliable wing spot with good flavor and consistent quality, Epic Wings is 100% worth checking out. I'll definitely be coming ba

I was born and raised in LA, so I've had a lot of Chinese food growing up, and I wasn't expecting to be this surprised--but I really was. I ordered the black bean eggplant and the salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings are what they're known for, but I have to start with the eggplant because it completely caught me off guard. It wasn't mushy at all--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and coated in sauce without losing its texture. Every bite had depth and balance, not just saltiness. I actually meant to start with the wings, but the eggplant was so good I ended up eating half of it before even getting to them. By that point I was already getting full, but I still made sure to finish the wings--and I'm honestly excited to take the rest of the eggplant home as leftovers. By the time I got to the wings, I understood why they're popular--crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying--but what stood out to me was how both dishes complemented each other. One rich and layered, the other crisp and bright. I never got tired of eating, which honestly says a lot. I even told the staff how much I enjoyed the food and they thought I was joking, but I meant every word in saying I thought it was comparable, if not better then the food I've had in Chinatown in LA. To add insult to injury it was BURNED so badly that all you could smell was burnt dough and taste burned dough. Hardly any sauce on it as well. The Shrimp Fried Rice should have just been plain white rice for how bland it was. The Vegetable Chow Mein literally was just a container of salt. Slim noodles and salt, disgusting! We spent so much money and all of this is going right into the garbage. Stay away from this hole! It should be shut down for trying to poison people. We ordered: - Thai Boat Noodles - Pad Thai with Fried Tofu - Papa Noodles with chicken (I just realized this could be a clever play-on-words for those Thai "Mama noodles", but it's more of a house special recipe dish) - Thai tea (they don't offer boba here) - Mango sticky rice Overall, we were impressed and our cravings were happy! Everyone enjoyed what they got; Their Pad Thai tastes fresh, which IMO, is rare bc most places I've been to just mix the rice noodles with the usual tamarind/orange sauce. Even my cousin noted that and she's part Thai. As for the mango sticky rice, they were generous with mango servings, which I'm grateful for. Aside from the food, the interior is welcoming and fun to experience inside. Definitely delivers with the local mom n pop feels. Can't wait to try more options!

The…read moreflavors deliver but there are some hard to see past kinks that need to be squared away before their production can be top notch. Every time I've been here, there isn't much business. The tables are always empty and there's not much traffic going in and out which confuses me because the place is really good. I came in today just for takeout and like usual no one was there dining. A worker wasn't present as I walked in but popped out when I got to the counter when they noticed I was going through this paper menu which was just printed pieces of paper stapled together. The interior decoration has changed since I last been here. It's a lot more cozy and actually carries a theme now. I was told there are no physical menus, only a QR code that directs you to a "live menu." This is because this place is super inconsistent with having items out of stock so utilizing the live menu is their way to avoid telling people something isn't available. I get it but it still feels off, especially when something like drunken noodles might not even be available at a Thai restaurant. I hope they start creating menus soon to make it feel more like a sit down restaurant because right now with the QR code it leans more takeout and delivery. All of my visits I always come in wanting to try their longan tea and it's never available. It's kind of a bummer it's even still on the menu because it has never been an option for me. Luckily I was able to settle on things I did want that were in stock. I got the papaya salad Thai style with the #3 spice level, the nam tok grilled pork jowl also #3, and an iced chrysanthemum tea. My total was over $38 for a salad, some pork jowl, and a drink. This might be the most expensive casual Thai restaurant I've been to. The drink ended up looking very different than what I expected. The picture on their menu showed a refreshing slushie type drink but what I got was just an iced tea. It's not hard to update the picture especially when they can update items as sold out. Now the food, some of the best I've had. The portions, some of the least I've had. The papaya salad had shredded green papaya, lime juice, fish sauce, chilies, and peanuts. I asked for no tomatoes and the #3 spice level was perfect. A little kick that added flavor but still enjoyable. It had a really good balance of citrus and fish sauce that made it tangy and fresh. The nam tok grilled pork jowl was good as well. For $19 I would think it comes with rice but it doesn't. I had to make rice at home because it leans on the saltier side. The pork jowl was tender and coated in lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, toasted rice powder, and herbs like mint and cilantro. The seasoning was good but it didn't have that grilled flavor which I think would've elevated it. Overall this place is really flavorful but it's expensive and inconsistent with what's available which can be frustrating.

But the hair on top of the after effects...something needs to be inspected here.
