I'm a lucky girl to have this spot be my neighborhood Thai restaurant! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior decor is lovely and changes with the season, and I love the liberal use of fresh flowers on the table and on the dishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The presentation of the meals look like art, and are not only beautiful but delicious. Our waiter was one of the friendliest servers that we ever had as well. My go to for this spot is the pri king with tofu (ahhhmazing) but this time around I switched it up for the eggplant. My bf got the panang curry with duck. Both are great but also I really don't think you can miss at this spot. The Thai iced tea is a staple- mine was a tad too sweet but the staff kindly added more tea to mine to cut back on the sweetness. This place has become our regular rotation, can't wait for our next visit

Despite the cheerful Christmas decor, our meal was not joyful. Santa greeted us at the door but our server was more Grinch than St. Nicholas. I intended to order a dinner portion but then saw the lunch menu on the last page and asked if it was still going on. She answered crankily (because I shouldn't ask questions or because she'd rather sell a pricier portion?). We still ended up ordering the Chicken Satay for appetizer and 2 lunch meals- Drunken Noodles with chicken and Panang Curry with mixed seafood. Service was curt and taciturn from there on. The only worse thing than rude treatment is differential treatment. She was all smiles and pleasantries for other tables, even boxing up their leftovers. Our boxing was, of course, DIY. Could it be because we're not regulars or that we are not the preferred demographics for Signature Thai Cuisine? Sure, the food was fine. The portions, generous. However, meals that come with a side of attitude leaves a bitter taste that can't be easily washed away.

I have been here multiple times, had multiple dishes, and it's always delicious. Adding duck to the panang curry took it to a whole new level! The presentation is always beautiful too. I highly recommend trying this place!

    Pad Thai Soft Shell Crab

Oh my gosh, I definitely need to come back here. I tried their soft shell crab pad Thai, which was out of this world! It's the perfect amount of savory with that classic pad thai taste. It's not overly saucy and not dry at all. The noodles are so chewy and the soft shell crab really adds a good layer of flavor and crunch that you won't get with regular chicken/shrimp/tofu pad thai. The restaurant is dimly lit, which kind of makes it a more relaxed atmosphere. It's a little small inside so I can see it getting loud or easily busy if there's a lot of people. The server was very attentive and made sure to clear our plates right away when we were finished.

First time visiting. We had the cream cheese wontons, pad thai with fried tofu and shrimp, and panang curry. Everything had great flavor but the textures/consistencies were a bit off. The cream cheese filling in the fried wontons was loose so it just fell out after the first bite. The curry and pad thai noodles had a starchy texture to both dishes. The curry was the most noticeable. Bummer because the flavors were really good. Service was attentive until the restaurant got busy and service dipped a bit. I loved the style of the restaurant. They did a good job with the space.

Love this place! We've tried plenty dishes here and they've all been consistently good! Go-to orders: - Panang chicken curry - Crab Fried Rice - Mango Sticky Rice (it's one of the best in SD IMO)

Everything is delicious the Thai tea is great and the pad see ew is probably the best dish that you can get in the menu. And the service was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the place was very nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Another visit and another 5 star experience. Sofia was very kind and attentive throughout the visit. She made sure that all of us had what we needed without being in the way. The yellow curry was the right spice level, the egg rolls were delicious and cooked perfectly. I love the salad dressing - peanut yum. This time, the restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day but I always find the ambiance to be quiet, not too dark, and enough space to feel private. Highly recommend.

Steak dish called the crying tiger. Amazing flavor and tender.

Yes they have steak! It's hidden on their menu it's a petite cut and very flavorful along with being tender. Never thought of having steak but it's amazingly delicious!! Called Crying Tiger dish the 8oz steak is the perfect size.

Great spot for Thai food! The flavors were authentic and delicious. Great service as well! Sticky rice portions were giant compared to other Thai spots. Will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.

Really fun to walk into this place as it is brimming with character. Daniel was our very attentive waitstaff member who took good care of us. A gentleman took my father and I here as a way to say thank you. He enjoyed a delicious fish of yellow curry. I think he's a repeat customer Dad and I split a lunch special pad Thai which was so large we had enough to take some home. Although we asked for it not to be spicy it had a bit of a kick. The soup was interesting. Not quite sure what type it was but should have asked them to heat it up as it was tempid. They were kind enough to bring one for each me and dad even though we split our meal. Given the great experience I hate to write this but the Pad Thai was not quite what we are used to do. If we were to go back we'd try something else.

Thai food is one of my favorite food and sometimes it's really too hard to find good ones in San Diego. I found this place while I was running errands with my friend and we decided to try this place out. Ever since I tried this place out I can't stop coming back. I came back again for my birthday and brought my family so that they could try it too. There Is plenty of seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. The inside is nice, I really like how they decorated it. The food is absolutely delicious! When they ask you about the spice level be honest and if you don't know how spicy their levels are ask because their food can get spicy! The employees are wonderful, very friendly and kind. They're also helpful if you're unsure what to order, offering recommendations based on what you like and what you are open to trying something new.

    Do you take reservations?

    Yes we do.

Hello there. Yes, we decorate for each seasons and holidays. Thank you... :)

What is the price menu on Signature Thai Restaurant in La Mesa?

The pricing is good! Chicken meals are around $10. I'll post photos of the menu.

When I came in to pick everything up, the ladies behind the counter were genuinely enthusiastic, not in a performative way, but in the way that people are when they're truly proud of what they're serving. They guaranteed I'd love it, and they delivered on that promise completely. It's rare to walk into a place and feel that kind of energy -- a team that's happy to be there and happy to feed you. That warmth is just as much a reason to come back as the food itself. And I will absolutely be coming back to keep working my way through the menu.

The dish overall was solid; good amount of spice, plenty of meat//veggies and a flavorful sauce that complimented it all. At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. Oodles by the Noodbar has such a large and diverse menu so I would highly recommend coming in to try them out.
