My wife and I have been going here since they opened. Probably a couple dozen times dining in at this place. Chicken was always moist, crispy, flavorful. Usually get a couple of orders of wings and an order of the kimchi fried rice. Always good food, decent service. Our most recent visit was horrible. We had a gap between this most recent visit, and our previous visit, probably close to six months (I'm guessing October of 2025 was our previous visit). We went in not that long ago, within the last month or so. Dine in. I am pretty sure the business has new owners, at least the kitchen and wait staff were all different from our previous visits. We were the only people sitting in the restaurant. Other than a handful of Doordash orders, not a lot going on here. Service staff basically ignored us. Too busy looking at their phone. Chicken was dry, chewy. Kimchi fried rice was dry (how do you even pull that off??). After we were finished eating (ate maybe a 1/4 of the food) we sat there for like 25 minutes staring at our plates with the wait staff sitting on a table like maybe 15-20 feet away from us staring at their phone. I had to get up and walk over to ask for the check. So, in summary, food was bad, service was worse and to be honest, food was way over priced. We're never coming back to this place. Unfortunate too, used to be good and there are not a ton of options for Korean fried chicken in the Lowell area. You're better off at Bon Chon (well, unless they took a nose dive since our last visit too...). read more

Oh man! We have been wanting to try this location for some time and just never wanted to go through the hassle of downtown - but today we did it! Good things : I loved my cheeseling boneless wings! The flavor was on point for me and they fried the chicken to be very crispy. My husband enjoyed his spicy wings and my daughter her soy garlic wings. Bad things : I spent $136 (w tip) and they forgot the white rice (side), 2 colelsaws (paid out of pocket) and no daikon. I didn't notice until we got home and was not going back out, it's cold and rainy. My daughter got the rose ddeok - bokki and said there was no flavor to it. We got kimchi fried rice and also very bland and not very flavorful. For me, I did not like the soy garlic, I felt it was way too coated and beyond sticky. Overall - 3-4 stars but paying that much and things missing really puts a damper on the mood when you're looking forward to something. May try again, just not anytime soon. read more

I've probably eaten at the location only twice. The atmosphere is like bonchon, but less sports bar and more family restaurant. What I like about their chicken is that there's so many different flavors to try. The wings of fire are my favorite and my go-to whenever I order delivery. I wouldn't be able to choose between bbq and bonchon only because they're two different styles of chicken. However, I can say I love their tteokbokki way more than bonchon. I've been a customer for years since they first opened their doors in Lowell. In the beginning the quality oc the chicken was amazing and was visiting a couple times a month. After man years has passed with a size-able customer base, it seems like they haven't cared much now. Some of the staff members didn't speak English and only Spanish made it quite difficult to request things. Today though was probably the last straw for me. This is the worst restaurant I have been to in Lowell. I sat down in the restaurant, and I was the only person there the whole time. The waiter ignored me almost the whole time and was very slow, but that was the least of the problems. Everything here was delicious!! We came on a Sunday midday so it was not busy and parking was easy. My most favorite chicken was the cheeseling. We also really enjoyed the honey garlic a lot. Honestly, these people have great food, but the 35+ min wait on orders when the store isn't busy at all is insane. I've only been here a couple of times and every time is a 30-35 min wait on a 16 piece wing and 2 sides of steamed rice. And mind you that's only for takeout. As I've been sitting here waiting for my takeout the people in the kitchen have been doing nothing but standing in a group laughing, like I'm wondering who's really cooking the food if 4 people stand there laughing and talking for 10min. This place is amazing, and the Korean fried chicken is fire! I couldn't believe how crispy they were able to get the chicken wings, and the Honey Garlic sauce was a perfect balance of mild spice and sweet flavor. My boys and I love some heat so we decided to order the Jjimdak which was new to the menu and oh boy was it delicious! The heat level in the dish was excellent not too too hot, but lit up my mouth with heat. I can't wait to go back and try more of their wing flavors and spicy Korean dishes. I liked the kimchi fried rice. The only down side is that it isn't spicy. It's very mild The dumplings were ok. Tastes like an average dumpling so it wasn't exceptional but it also wasn't bad. Now onto the main dish - The chicken. I really want to say that it was the greatest chicken I've ever had but I can't. I got the boneless original and soy garlic. The flavors were really good but the downside is that it was extremely undercooked. Both times when I dined in and DoorDashed, I got the same exact order of chicken - 8 piece boneless original and 8 piece boneless soy garlic. Both times they were undercooked. When I doordashed it, I had to pop it in the air fryer for a little longer. The real issue lies in that they refuse to listen to their customers. Multiple people have pointed out that their chicken were undercooked. Yet the same excuse is that it's a "pinking effect" that still happens despite cooking it to proper temp. You're telling me that this pinking effect happens THIS often? Also it is way too expensive for a casual chain food place. $30 for a whole fried chicken is unspeakable. Please start supporting local Asian eateries instead of this abominable place. read more

This food was the worst ive had in a long time. The chicken was slimey and took forever. The second we walk in we get treated poorly by the host and made us feel uncomfterable , very standoff-ish. After we get the food my daughters plate she ordered had some Ingredients she was not aware of that she was allergic to once we told the hostess he took our food and still charged us when we didn't have a bite of it. My wife and I have been sick all day today after ordering their boneless chicken last night. Even without the food poisoning, the chicken was kinda gross. Sauces were good, but, the fried parts of the chicken seemed to hold onto a lot of oil and I'm not sure if the oil was rancid or what, but, it tasted odd last night and all day today (burping up that grossness) as I've been sick and unable to eat. The food first off I order a 1/2 chicken sauced the pieces of chicken besides one thigh and one wing looked like random chicken and skin fried and sauced. Sauce was horrible. After paying the bill, the waitress demanded me to give her a tip and did not give my friend their change. We always tip so we were going to do so after receiving our change. My friend had to ask the waitress for their change which she handed to them and immediately demanded it back saying "you need to tip me".
