First and foremost as a Lao person the food is amazing. Quiet service, good amount of space between tables, bathroom available. I recommend the Kow Piek Sen!

These clowns charge a CUSTOMER SERVICE fee too! Yeah, customers can be so annoying, they come in, they order food and then give you money.

BLACKLISTED just like Lanxang Star. They're charging "customer service fees" of 3.5% and God knows what else when you pay by credit card. As I said before, this should be illegal. Pretty sure it's part of their credit card contract agreement, they should not be allowed to charge more for customers paying with credit cards. They just tell you a number, you don't know what it adds up to, can't get a clear answer what you're paying for, except that "the machine adds fees when you pay by credit card"... WHY!? That's the cost of doing business accepting credit cards! They have the same sticker as Lanxang Star on the counter, except it's half-covered behind the menu, so they charge credit card fees / "customer service fees", as it says on the receipt! ("Thanks for coming in, ordering food, giving us your money, but this is extra work for us, we need to charge you a "customer service" fee for that. Sorry". WTF!). They're just as bad as Lanxang Star... These were our favorite restaurants but they wanna play games for 3-4% fees for this and that. Have at it. We're never going there again and I'll let everyone know... This is unbelievable what all these restaurants get away with nowadays "in the name of COVID" and whatnot... "Ohhhh... business is bad, COVID, we're hurting, we need to charge you for to go containers... we need to charge you credit card fees.... we need to charge you customer service fees.... we need to charge you for napkins.....". WAKE UP FOLKS! Enough of this ____! NEVER AGAIN Lanxang Star, Lanxang Express, Pho Dalat and alike.

Food was good and fresh Service was friendly Place is nice, quiet and clean I will be back again when I crave for the boat noodles

    Kowpoon Curry Noodle Soup

Food was delicious and flavorful. The curry noodles had a nice kick to them, but the spice didn't overwhelm the other flavors. The portions were generous; could easily feed two hungry people. The person taking orders was friendly & honest about the wait time.

*Pad Thai* one of my favorites plates besides the drunken noodles too, good food and service

The Laotian curry noodle soup, all the larbs and larb adjacent dishes, the tapioca balls etc are fantastic and unique. If you like spicy, they do it for real here. I can eat almost anything and normally order maximum heat level wherever I go, but 4/5 is all I'm willing to go here. It's the real deal. They even sell their own home made chile powders and sauces (cash only for the condiments). They have a full bar, and the service is friendly. Looks like a family run place with the younger people in the front of the house and a kitchen full of grandmotherly women. As it should be.

Restaurant felt like a local neighborhood spot for local families to come in and have dinner. About 9-10 tables. I called ahead and informed them that we had a party of 7-8 coming in. The front desk guy was super cool! Great customer service. He accommodated us and things were set up quick. He said over the phone he would take care of us and he did. Appreciate you! Food 4/5 - it was my first time having Nam Khao at a restaurant. Other previous times have been home made. I'm not sure how I feel about paying $19 for this dish lol it was a good portion but a little hefty. The wings were good but I still prefer Simply Khmer. My wife had pad thai and requested it to be extra spicy. In our experience at other restaurants, when you ask for spicy, it's never spicy. Lanxang does it spicy and we quickly figure that out lol it still packed a good punch of flavor! Overall, I would come back to try their other dishes. I want to try their papaya salad and boat noodle soup. Will definitely come back!

Every dish I've ever tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the cooking here. On top of that, the staff is wonderful -- friendly and genuinely welcoming, which always makes us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, I have to rate my current experience four out of five stars due to an issue that significantly impacted our meal. While we were eating, there were cockroaches crawling on the wall near us, which was extremely unsettling and completely tainted the experience. It made it very difficult to continue enjoying our food, despite how delicious it was. I say this with sincerity: if the restaurant can fully address the cleanliness concerns, including any cockroach or rodent issues, I truly believe this place can return to being a solid five-star restaurant. The food and the people are already there -- it just needs that final, crucial piece to match the quality of everything else.

Though they advertise they serve both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, you won't find boat noodle soup or khao soi here for Thai food. For Vietnamese noodle soups, they do offer some of the other popular ones like bun bo hue, bun rieu, and bo kho. Here, they also have rice plates and vermicelli bowls too. I typically get their bun bo hue and it's good every time. Service is pretty quick and staff is always nice.

Normally, pad Thai is my litmus test at a new restaurant. Safe. Predictable. But not today. Khao Moo Grob was calling my name, and I never say no to crispy crackling pork. Ever. Good choice. This dish absolutely delivered. Deeply comforting, rich, and soulful--the kind of plate that feels like it came from a home kitchen, not a menu. You don't make food like this without some kind of Thai grandma quietly running the show in the back. I was also talked into the curry puff, which they only make in limited quantities daily. The filling? Not my favorite. But the puff pastry itself? Buttery, impossibly flaky, and executed to perfection. Honestly, they could've filled it with sand and I still would've finished it. And look--Billerica isn't exactly known as a culinary hotspot. But Bang Na Thai is doing something right. If I'm anywhere near the area again, I'm absolutely coming back

It was also, apparently, less salty, presumably for the same reason. The amount of kimchi in the "sample" was so plentiful as to almost fill up the mini cup we used for takeout. They have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan food, as well as some gluten free items, though they lack the staff and kitchen size to accommodate celiacs, so it's really more of use for people on elimination diets or with poor digestive capabilities. The owner had prior training in Italian cuisine, which is the reason such food is on the menu, and while neither my father nor I had occasion to try it, it is apparently a passion of the chef's, and the shared discussion of their mutual interest in Italian cooking may be the reason my father was given a free "sample" of kimchi, which was larger than the paid order of kimchi at most other restaurants. The food portions, in general, are massive, with the leftovers of an order of wonton soup not fitting in a to-go canister, with other orders being similarly large. Their jasmine tea is unusual for its slight fruity flavor, and ability to "overbrew" without becoming bitter, instead maintaining its delicate flavor. Each table has condiments, which in addition to including the "normal" chili crisp, and fish sauce often found at Asian restaurants that provide table condiments, have the more western pepper grinder, as well as garlic salt. Curiously, there is no "normal" salt as often found at western restaurants, though bottles of sriracha are found at every table. Perhaps the garlic salt and sriracha are the restaurant's "unique twist"?

Still excellent, still sweet (though now more noticeably spicy too), and still important to remind that the dishes here are not necessarily attempting authentic cuisine of specific regions (even though specific dishes are named), but more of a freestyle approach. The wings have improved in recent visits. More plump, more crisp, more juice, more flavor. Still good value. Still a little weak on the service (more about being young, unfocused and lacking initiative than anything approaching rudeness). Still highly recommended.
