I was working in the area and wanted to get some lunch. I did a quick search on Yelp and found lots of different options. I felt Frangos had good reviews and offered something different than I normally have. The place is located in small strip mall at one end. I parked right in front and walked inside. There was seating to the right and the order counter was to the left. I walked up to the order counter and checked out the menu. Of course, it was primarily chicken "fingers". They also offer a sandwich and a wrap. It is a pretty basic menu for fried chicken fingers. I decided to order the Trio combo meal which includes three chicken fingers, a slice of Texas toast, fries, choice of sauce and a drink. They asked if I wanted to make it spicy for $1.49 more. I asked how spicy it was and she said they could do light spice. I said let's do light spice then. They said they would bring my order out to me. There were a few other people seated but I grabbed an empty booth after I filled my drink. A short while later someone came over and brought my food. It looked really good and I dug in. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The light spice but perfect for me. The fries were of the thinner variety, but not shoestring. I used the ketchup packets on the table for my fries. I did not use the BBQ sauce I got with my meal. I found it a little odd that it came with a slice of Texas toast but I ate it anyway and it was good. Overall this was a good stop and not something I normally would have tried. You should check them out.

One word says it all .... Delicious! For those who aren't aware... As Good as it Gets in Wilmington turns into Frangos late afternoon to evening and it's sooooo good! Definitely one of my families favorite chicken tender spots! And the Frangos sauce is so good! If you like shoestring fries, they're ok and the Texas toast finishes of the meal! Would highly recommend.

The go wrap.. its chicken tenders , shredded lettuce, shredded cheese and frangos sauce

Good food. Very cheap with their sauce. Seriously, would it kill you to fill them up properly and not charge an arm and leg for them.

Chicken was juicy, not greasy. Fries were well seasoned. Bread is delicious. Will visit again.

For…read morecontext, I love burgers, eat them often, and have tried most of the big and small names (with the exception of In-N-Out, which I'll finally be trying in March). I ordered a double char combo with fries and a drink, keeping all the toppings as they come. I always do this on a first visit to establish a baseline. The first red flag was how quickly the food came out--within seconds. If a burger is being cooked fresh, it simply can't be ready in under a minute. That's not the case at places like Shake Shack or Five Guys, where you actually wait for the burger to be cooked. This felt more in line with what you'd expect at a traditional fast-food chain like Burger King. Flavor-wise, the burger reminded me a lot of a Double Whopper with cheese, as both have that charred profile. Unfortunately, the Whopper is actually more flavorful--and bigger. The fries were completely average and forgettable. I ended up leaving half the burger and half the fries, which anyone who knows me will tell you is almost unheard of. Will I give it another shot? No chance. The food at Shake Shack is vastly superior, and surprisingly, the combo there is cheaper by over a dollar. The Habit combo came in just under $17, while the same combo at Shake Shack is under $16. The overall experience was also bland and cold. There's no real interaction--you order on a screen, the food appears, and you grab it from the counter. Even Shake Shack and Five Guys, despite being partially automated, still feel like there are actual people preparing your food. Bottom line: if you're considering Habit Burger, you're better off going to your nearest Shake Shack. And if it's that charred flavor you're after, you'd honestly be better served at Burger King.

Not completely inedible stale but clearly at least one-day-old bread. They shouldn't be passing this off to people but throwing it away. They know it's stale. They just don't care. It degrades the sandwich. There are other options so I won't be going back. If you're in the area, try Rizzo's, 5 minutes away on Church Street in Wilmington. Their roast beef is always outstanding and the bread is never, ever stale. Wilmington House of Pizza is good, too. Plus, frankly, their service is really slow. This is a place that has the words "roast beef" in their name and so you would think it would be quick. I swear they're going out back and slaughtering the cows. Plus they now add a surcharge on using a credit card. There is ZERO reason to go here.
