(hanging the safety chain from the outer tie rod in the steering system is WRONG) he took my credit card with a phone and didn't give me an itemized bill. also, I felt he overbilled by a half hour. I guess the only part he got right was my car at the body shop.... but as I stated, that was an argument. oh yeah, the emailed receipt wasn't well itemized. no start time, no stop time, no pickup or drop off location. This facility gave a 60 minute ETA initially, I waited 60 minutes and then called the number provided for this facility. The associate I spoke with answered without stating the name of the business at all as though he was receiving a call at his residence. I explained the situation to him, and he said he did not have an ETA to give me but would call the technician and have he/she call me. 1.5 hours passed and I called USAA, they initiated another service request with an alternate provider in case TNT towing did not show up. The 2nd service, showed up, jump started my car, and left within about 30 minutes. TNT never showed up but called once to extend his ETA. Overall I waited 3 hrs without any service from TNT Towing. My suggestion: If you live in the Tacoma, WA area ask your roadside assistance who will be completing your service. If it is TNT Towing ask for another facility.

The driver dispatched to tow my 2013 BMW 328i Coupe attempted to winch the car onto the flatbed by attaching a heavy steel J-hook directly to my steering tie rod and aluminum control arm. Attaching heavy winch gear to hollow steering linkages and suspension components on a European car is a severe safety violation that can cause thousands of dollars in mechanical damage. When I stepped in to stop the driver from destroying my steering rack, he refused to use proper loading methods (such as soft axle straps or wheel bridles). To make matters worse, I spoke directly with their management, Andre, who shockingly defended this dangerous technique, claiming that winching a vehicle by its steering tie rod is "standard procedure" and told me to go buy my own bumper tow hook. After keeping me waiting for over two hours on a re-dispatch, they canceled the job at the last minute with zero explanation or communication, leaving me stranded roadside for over five hours total. If you care about your vehicle's mechanical integrity--especially if you drive a low-clearance or European car--avoid this company at all costs. Their sheer lack of basic towing knowledge, blatant disregard for vehicle safety, and hostile customer service make them an extreme hazard. I wouldn't recommend nor have progressive insurance have them tow any of my cars. You have been warned.
