I have to give City Wide Towing a 5 star! We set up the tow with AAA and AAA gave us a 2 hour wait time! Delane was there an hour early, had the car hooked up in about 10 minutes or less! We had to get the car home about 1.5 hours and he never once made it a known fact that he had to drive so far, not to mention, at midnight! He had a great attitude! Now the reason I'm writing this is because no tow truck driver has ever put the car where we need it because the driveway is a joke! But Delane maneuvered his truck how he could and dropped the car in the driveway exactly where we needed it! Next time I have car troubles in Lacey, I know where to look to get a tow! Forrest is my hero for the day! My car lost power just before exit 107 on I-5 in Olympia today. I called AAA and Citywide towing was sent as a local contractor. I'm so thankful. I was STRESSED! I had lost power in my car while moving 70 mph on the freeway and then had to sit alongside the road while calling for a tow, a ride, and securing an auto shop. Forrest showed up and with the utmost professionalism, he calmed my nerves, explained the steps, and loaded my car onto the truck. The whole time, he was aware for his safety and mine as we were in a high speed traffic area. After loading, Forrest expertly maneuvered the truck back onto the freeway and recommended a place where I could wait for my ride close to the pick-up site. As he dropped me off, he made sure my information was correct and dropped my car off 30 miles away within the hour. On April 20th a vehicle made a left turn right in front of us. Fortunately my husband quickly responded turning our vehicle so only our right front connected with the other vehicle instead of a full T-bone. Needles to say we were very shook up. Kenneth H 38906 from city wide through AAA arrived to tow our vehicle and could not have been nicer. After getting our car loaded he had us ride with him to the collision place then dropped us off at home. Through it all, he made us laugh. Ken went above and beyond to help two elders and made us feel better. If he is representative of City Wide employees in Olympia, it speaks volumes for their service. I do not typically write negative reviews (seriously, check out my other reviews on Yelp), so I am not just a disgruntled person who only complains, but for City Wide Towing, I felt it a moral obligation to warn other people about them. They will quote you a low price, tow your car, and then hold it hostage at a MUCH higher price (in my case, about $250 more than the quoted price). They prey on the desperate. I don't know how they sleep at night. If they quote you a price, be sure to get it in writing. You'd be better off calling someone else. read more

AAA set up City Wide to help when my car needed a tow. They gave a 2 hour window, but were there in maybe half an hour. Mick, the driver, was awesome! I have an all-wheel drive car, and he took the time to set up a dolly and do it right. He was polite and super helpful. I absolutely agree with Mike W. Thieves!!! They showed up at the scene of accident to pick up my son's car at the request of the police department. The car could've been started and driven off the road...I'll take that up with the police department. However, I called and requested City Wide to leave the car because I (legal owner) did not authorize them to take the vehicle. The extremely rude woman at the office said that she did not have time to discuss it with me. They were either taking it to my house, at my expense of $240+ per hour, or they would take it to their yard. I again said to leave the vehicle. She abruptly stated, "then we're taking it to our yard" and then hung up on me. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!!! read more

COMPLETE scammers!!!!!! After telling me at the scene of my accident that it was going to be $55 flat rate, plus $3.50 a mile they towed my car 3.5 miles (SERIOUSLY) and when we pulled in the drive way the tow truck driver pulls some bull crap out of nowhere and said he was "going to have to charge by the hour". So me, thinking 'awesome he's only had the car for not even 20 minutes I'm getting a deal" he says I will be charged for an hour and a half which would cost me $370.22 . So after arguing with him and his manager on the phone and being completely lied to and disrespected the manager ignores me over the phone and tells the driver to take my car back to the yard, I protest again and ask why I'm being charged for 90 minutes when we haven't even known each other for 20? The snotty woman on the phone then says something about how "well we got the call at 2:08" I remind her that the DRIVER didn't arrive to the scene until 2:47 so why am I paying for him to drive to work? She replies with "well you know it takes 16 minutes to drive back to the yard..." Again I tell her I don't get paid for driving home from work... So after a few minutes of arguing with these con artists they can "only" drop my 3 mile tow to $323.70. It's safe to say I am filing a small claim against them because if I didn't pay them that money right there on the spot they would have hauled my car off and I probably wouldn't have seen it again. I am still upset about it, and the tow was more expensive than the $120 it cost to fix my car. NEVER USE THEM. The tow truck drivers name was Marty I believe. read more

City Wide Towing - Terrible terrible company - Towing Near Me - Olympia, Washington

My car was located at the end of a road that had some snow on it (wasn't stuck but the transmission was shot so I couldn't drive it) so I call AAA and they send out the driver from city wide towing comes out and drives a quarter of the way down this road and says "oh it has too much ice on this road, there's no way I'm going down there to get stuck. It's my Friday night" he informs me that he will either need to call in a second truck maybe even a third truck or that they would have to put kitty litter up this whole road to tow my car out. I'm told to leave. So I do and when I call AAA back they let me know that it wouldn't be covered because it would be a "recovery" ? How would the driver know that if he never once laid eyes on my vehicle? This company did not complete the task, and I believe it's solely laziness to be blamed for that. Another tow truck comes and actually has chains and he puts them on and is able to tow my car out with absolutely no problem.. And to top it all off when I finally should be able to speak with the owner Lacey of city wide towing she starts off the conversation saying that she is not the owner. By the end of the conversation when she is upset she tells me that she actually is the owner and that she's done with this conversation and she hangs up on me? How unprofessional can you be? I would leave my car in the worst neighborhood in town and rent a car before I would ever hire this company to do anything for me. read more
