I'm the pickiest person I know when it comes to my hair, and I had never had much luck with finding a great stylist. Until I found Ryan and stuck with him ever since. I've had him do everything there was to do with my hair - color, highlight, trim, cut, curl, color roots, etc. And it's perfect every time. He makes recommendations on cuts and colors, and I usually follow. Came in recently for a little trim because my hair was growing a little out of control and getting split-ends; and, plus, it's been too hot to be sporting this long hair. I appreciate that she checks in with me to see if I'm happy with the progress at each stage of the cut. I will make the drive from SD just to see her. My first haircut came out nicely after we chatted about what I wanted and what she thinks would look best, and she recommended me a brown I should try in the future. Today is that future time. It's my second time here! I came in knowing vaguely what I wanted (Some sort of lighter brown with bangs since I had black hair with no bangs lol). We chatted and then I simply trusted the process. She ended up giving me curtain bangs that can also be a little wispy also, and cut my hair to a length that looked soooo good. There was so much attention to detail when she was cutting too. It was great. For the color, she said that a lighter color might not actually look the best on me and a subtle brown might be better! I was pretty down for whatever she thought looked good so I trusted the process again. Let me tell you... this subtle brown looked so good with the cut. Also, my hair? Soft as HECK. It was kinda gritty before so I was shook when I touched my hair after the appt. She chatted with me lots and also gave me space too. It was a great balance and also she answered my questions!! I always have so many questions and she answered them all for me!! Including... how to style my hair because I suck at those things. I'll take any advice and tips I can get. Price is reasonable for OC too! TLDR; I walked in with messy hair that made me look dead inside and walked out with softer dyed hair AND styling knowledge. If that isn't a win, I don't know what is.

I learned my lesson to not cheat on my hair dresser cause it will add up financially! Ryan was able to accommodate me for a darker balayage, Ryan is a master at coloring. I think it's important for new customers to know that, he is very very good at figuring out what the right colors are that'll match your inspiration photos. He was able to turn my hair into exactly the inspiration photo I showed him. I was also taking meetings and "working" while at the salon, he was quiet the entire time (I didn't ask him to be, he learned I was doing that and on his own was very very courteous). He was also very quick and efficient which allowed me to run home and be on video meetings on time. Ultimately, he is exceptional at balayages. I've only come to him for that and I'm sure he can do highlights and etc very well since coloring seems to be his best skill. I've been in salons where it took 3-4 hours, Ryan was able to do my hair in 2 hours! I texted him, his number is all over the Yelp reviews, and he responded very quickly. In my 8th year of being a Silverfox lady, I take pride as to who messes with my lovely hair. I researched on yelp and found several hair salons. But the title of this company grabbed me a bit. I made the appointment. My hair is extremely stubborn and natural silver. Janice, the hair owner greeted me at the door and her team of stylist assisted. I was only going in for a consult but something told me to go with the flow and I am glad I did. The hair was treated with toner. I was offered coffee, water and the place was busy.
