He used a lot of different techniques and blending to fix the way My cowlick and fine hair had been poorly blended and cut previously. The haircut was $20 and I left a $10 tip which I feel is in line for a very good professional haircut. I would highly recommend this place and I will be going back. This was my first time here, and as a guy getting barber service, you want a barber that will take his time, make sure you walk out feeling like a king. My barber Thomas was just the right guy to take the time of the styling assessment to shave style to finishing product. Walking in the shop just smelled good, their main row of chairs was clean and the decor was modern rustic. You get greeted, they check you in, and they have a lounge as well to wait out your service. I worked with Thomas, and he had a very warm welcome and made sure to take the process of the style, cut, shape, and finishing product that was exactly what you were expecting. This experience did not disappoint. I truly appreciated his chat along throughout the experience, so it was fun and chill. I selected a skin fade with a hard part. The beard was close-knit mustache separated from the beard, which was don't chinstrap style. During the beard trim, I enjoyed the warm towel as well. It was such a chill vibe the whole time. She helped to rectify a botched job from a previous barber at a franchise down the street. She even gave me a complimentary trim when she noticed I needed one. I'm happy that she'll be retiring after doing this for 40+ years. She deserves some R&R, but I'm so bummed to be back on the hunt for a good barber who doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I want to stay local (within a 15 minute drive) and really need the convenience of walking in. Ms. Katherine satisfied both of these wants/needs. Got home and wife hated the haircut because it didn't turn out the same as previous cuts from elsewhere. Next day after a shower, the haircut looked even worse. No biggie. I'll just try a different stylist next time. Clean interior. Would love to see better pricing. A simple cut (no wash) took about 15 mins and ran $34 with tip.
