Overall, I was very disappointed with the level of customer service I experienced. Since the Regional Sales Representative for the Boston area left the company, there has not been a replacement, which has made communication and support challenging. Additionally, I found the Director of Sales to be unresponsive, and my interactions with the sales team were not particularly positive. A minor issue with a small tear in a tablecloth resulted in a charge, and despite reaching out to both the Director of Sales and the Accounting Department with a courteous request for consideration, I did not receive a response. Given these experiences, I do not feel confident continuing a partnership with this company and will be exploring alternative vendors moving forward. read more

What a nightmare experience. I had high hopes for this place. When I came to visit I found that their website images look nothing like the actual product. The meridian chargers appear as a dark marble but really were translucent more in light colors so I had to find something else. I ordered linens and velvet napkins. The linens were gorgeous but one had a hole. They had to overnight shop new napkins after the first ones were such poor quality. They did not quality check either order as the second order had the same problems. Not what you expect for a luxury product and essentially refusing to refund my money despite not being able to use the poor quality napkins so I have to go to my credit card. We had gorgeous linens from La Tavola for our wedding - The quality and selection is outstanding and I had a fabulous experience meeting with Erin to make selections and curate the table runners, napkins, etc. When the linens arrived they were pressed and ready to go - We didn't need to steam or iron them before use, which was super great as our set up time was short. I would absolutely recommend them for this reason despite a less than stellar experience with communication about delivery and pick up. Communication about delivery and pick up was severely lacking. We were told the linens would be delivered via UPS and that we would need to pack them up and drop off at UPS for the return. When the linens were delivered the day before our wedding, in a La Tavola branded van - NOT by UPS, we were told that they would be back to pick the linens up the day after the event - All good! EXCEPT that we had one person staying at our house the night of the wedding, who needed to leave early the next day. We asked him to leave the linens on the porch for pick up - But, because this was assigned to him at the last minute and not on his printed list of responsibilities, which was created and handed out several days before the wedding so we could relax, he forgot to leave them out... La Tavola seemed flexible about this and UPS came 2 days later to collect. Then the next day, the La Tavola truck came to collect again, but we had already released the linens to UPS... Here's hoping they receive the linens because who knows what the heck is going on with this pick up! It would have been much easier to simply have a member of our wedding party deliver the bag to UPS as previously communicated by La Tavola. read more

Something that she did NOT have to do, as it was a super small order and didn't benefit her or the company, yet she made it happen to help me out. I have been a loyal client with BBJ for close to 10 years with my current company and 17 total years with a previous business. While the product is great, and I would give a 5 star review on product alone. I am giving a 1 star review based on the price gauging on their shipping costs and their customer service and rental process. Really it has gone downhill since the merger with La Tavola which I think was during Covid-19. They also now charge an extra fee of "Covid Cleaning" practices. Very disappointed. Time to start looking for another Linen Rental Company. Sad but the level of price gauging on shipping and extra fees just keeps going downhill. read more

First time they showed me the linens they were great. After that, I've only noticed disorganization and inconsistencies. 1) When I wanted to send them a credit card authorization they accidentally emailed me a PDF with someone else's credit card information in there! Good thing I'm not a criminal! I certainly hope they don't treat my credit card information with such carelessness! 2) They said they would call me on the day the linens arrived (I was planning on picking them up myself and dropping them off at the caterers). On the day they were supposed to arrive (a Wednesday), I called 2x and left a voicemail and NO ONE CALLED BACK (this is after I said, please call me back). Next day I call, and they said they sent me an email. This is after they said "I will call you when they come in." *ahem* I don't know about you, but that's not right! Overall, the concept is great, and the linens looks pretty but if that's how they treat their customers then I'm never coming back. --- Great if you want to do a one-off but they are disorganized and their customer service stinks. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Yes the quality is not always perfect but it's difficult in this business to deliver spotless service all the time. La Tavola is not inexpensive by any means, therefore you would expect above board quality. At least that's what they claim to deliver. I ordered 4 linens, ALL STAINED, some with holes, cigarette burns, coffee spots and very wrinkled. I immediately called the office, obviously I was upset since there was no way of getting clean linens for this event within a reasonable time. I apologized to the store assistant saying : I know it's not your fault but the person pulling the inventory in Napa should be made accountable for not checking the quality of these linens." I asked for a callback from the owner to my cell phone. Betsy the owner never called me on my cell phone but left a message on my answering machine telling me that she would credit the linens but she would also cancel my account given that I was upset when I was speaking with her store assistant. (Keep in mind that I was now stuck with dirty linens for a very high-end socialite event) For Years I have given them my business. Never not paid my bills and then when I complain about the quality of linens I am being told to never call their service again. Wow, Really!!!!! I guess it is my fault that these linens were delivered dirty to me....! Best customer response ever! Words can do no justice. My wife and I first came to La Tavola for our wedding and I don't think we could have had better service. The two reps, Beth and Katie, were absolute dolls. Professional, fast, and made us feel welcome. Most places we visited during our wedding planning days made us feel like we were ridiculous for asking certain questions or for expecting some guidance. Not here! They made us feel a home and most importantly, the day of the wedding was perfect. My wife was happy which meant, I was happy. We didn't stop there- I contacted Beth again for our daughters 1 year birthday party and was once again served to perfection. I highly recommend you go here for any and all occasions. After a dramatic situation where my planner and venue manager misjusdged how much custom fabric I would need to have made for the runner and table cloths, we found ourselves in need of linens for our reception last minute.
