Had to wash four big blankets and was left satisfied! It was my first time visiting this laundromat and the facility appeared very clean with the machines all in working order. The layout also made the process very smooth with washers in the middle rows and dryers surrounding the perimeter alongside tabletops to fold your clothes and/or other items. All machines had a tap to pay option if Apple Pay is needed. However, it is stated that a $20 hold will be placed on your card IF using debit or Apple Pay so be mindful of that! Next time I'll make sure to get a physical laundromat card and load it with credits to avoid that fee (it does get reimbursed however I'd like to avoid any unnecessary fees if possible lol). The overall price for the usage of two washing machines and one large dryer came out to $25 after the refund of the holding fee. $10 for each wash and $4.25ish for a dryer. Parking can be a little tight especially on the weekends. I came on a Friday afternoon and spots filled up quick. read more

Ripping me off on time. Used dryer machine 1 and I took photos bc I had bought 32 mins worth of times and the machines stopped at 28 mins. Then I bought 4 more mins while it was still"running" and it still didn't give me the 4 minutes it stole from me. The other big machine 3 worked just fine though. read more

This is a great laundromat. They have many different sizes washing machines and they all wash and rinse well at great prices. They have single load washing machines and a large washing machine that lets you wash up to 8 loads of clothes. The washing machines wash quickly also. The dryers are great but, I always use one of the 2 biggest dryers. I can dry about 7 loads of clothes for $2.50 and it gives you 40 minutes on the dryer. The employees are friendly. The laundromat is kept clean and all of the customers are pretty friendly. read more

Very clean facility, clean machines. my dryer is going out so I brought my 4-5 loads of washed clothes up here to dry them. I threw EVERYTHING into one of the gigantic dryers in front and the load was dry in 40 minutes. Nice tv. Laundry soap available. Change machine or credit card operable machines. Friendly staffer. I used to come to this place when my kids were young and enjoyed it a lot. It brought back many memories otherwise forgotten. I came tonight due to my machine breaking in the middle of a wash. I noticed things have changed a lot. I liked that I can use my Apple Pay and or cards to pay for the wash. However, to my surprise, their machine over charged me by $8.50. I loaded 2 washed and each wash was supposed to be $5.75 which should totaled $11.50 but it charged me $20.00 if you choose to come to this place I recommend that you bring quarters with you. read more

Upon our entering a laundromat in El Sobrante (the one next to Raleys), we were welcomed by a lady who greeted us with a beautiful smile. We would later find out that her name was Vikki. My first impression of this laundromat was the overall cleanliness of the place- everything was in place- well organized and all appliances appear to be functional( no signage indicating out of order sign with some of the appliances ), compared with the other laundromat we frequented for over a year. I started a casual conversation with Vikki, appropriately, as I needed help with the operation of the wash machine. Without hesitation, Vikki showed up and helped me. Vikki is a consummate customer service professional who goes above and beyond not only to provide answers to some of the questions they might have, and in so doing leave them with a memorable experience. She made us feel really welcome and comfortable. I went to this location because it had a high rating. The one close to my location all had 3 or less stars. The place is clean I normally don't use laundromats but this location also takes card. Their machines are decent specially their dryers. They also have a parking space but I would NOT recommend to go there during weekend because it will be packed. I went there on a Friday 11 am where there were already few vehicles parked and by the time I finished around 12:30pm the parking lot were already FULL. I would definitely come here again if I need to use their washing machines again. read more

I've been coming to this specific location for years. I really like Mary. Her daughter used to work here also. She was just as awesome as her mom! I will always give Mary 5 stars. I've never had issues until 2 weeks ago. I come her twice a week. I use the same washers every time. Well today, 2 of the 6 washers I was using decided to not spin out. The lady working said I may have put too much soap. Well I know I didnt. Like I stated earlier, I come here twice a week. I use the same washers everytime. I use the same amount of soap everytime. I went ahead and paid for 1 of the washers to rewash. I asked the laundry attendant if she can pay for the 2nd machine to be rewashed and she said no. She called the manager Vicki, who stated she can't pay for the rewash. Well, the washer I paid to rewash still had foam everywhere. I didn't add soap. So why is there still foam? To top it off, there aren't any quarters in the quarter machine, per usual on Sundays. Definitely finding a new place to wash clothes at. They lost a loyal customer. read more

I just spent 55$ here and couldn't be more happy with a laundromat experience ever in my life!! This place made me happy to do laundry and spend my money here. SO CLEAN AND NEWER MACHINES! They had a machine so big i could possibly fit in it I didn't tho but I did wash like 8 blankets and throws all at once. There was some nice lady on duty and she was watching to make sure things were moving along ,and kept tidy.. I called to make sure there was time and big enough washers to handle the comforter that was soaking wet at the moment. The phone was answered on the second ring; very helpful and sympathetic information was given. The laundromat was busy, but enough machines to go around. I'm lucky enough to have a laundry facilities at home and this is only the second time that I've recently had to visit a laundromat. I chose this one because of its rating. I admit it's fairly clean. The machines are in working order and they have plenty of size options. The staff is friendly albeit often distracted in conversations and somewhat unaware of their app options. At the time I visited Apple Pay wasn't working. The facility is a decent size, however at peak times (I visited late morning on a Sunday) it can be tricky getting a machine. read more

This our neighborhood laundry mat....I think... We've been here a few times now and we always get good service. I always forget which machines to use and they always give great suggestions. i.e spread out your pillows between machines if you can, don't add too much soap maybe 1-2 pods as the pillows will get too sudsy, dry your pillows and down comforters on med heat and maybe for an hour as they tend to still be damp and wet and may grow mold if you don't full dry it there or at home. Because of Covid, you can't wait inside nor fold your laundry. You have to wait in your car. Luckily, we've been able to go and it isn't too crowded inside and there's always parking. read more

I had some large blankets to wash and decided to try out BB's. It was busy but not crowded, and the machines appeared well kept. I saw the attendant floating around helping ppl and folding laundry (they do laundry for individuals as well - extra charge). I was surprised about the ability to use a credit card. I noted the pre-authorized $20 sign and it made complete sense. I used a four load washer ($6.25) and a regular dryer ($1.75). I figured when the laundry mat settled up with my credit card company, my total would be $8. However, it looks like the place charged me $8.50. I did not see that BB charged a credit card fee for the transaction. I reviewed the credit card placard again and i did not see a fee. I checked my pictures of the payment screens on the machines and did not see them mention a service fee. I understand that BB may not want to pay credit card fees but it would be good to know that they will pass the charge on to customer. Honestly, I assume it's a fee and not a mistake but without a mention of a fee it's hard to tell. Correction: My apologies. Business owner has responded and confirmed no service fees for credit cards. However, I did use the heavily soil feature for the wash. That would apparently explain the extra money per the owner. May I suggest having some a sign that explains additional charges for different settings on the washer? It would help the customer understand how much something is because we don't know the real charge until the next day. Thank you to the owner for the response. read more

But this particular location in El Sobrante, for my first visit last night, I experienced disrespectful Bad customer service. Unprofessional laundry attendant, "Karen" attitude behavior! She makes the business look very bad imo! Incident date: Sunday, 10/22/2023 @ 8:55 pm. BB Laundromat 2 at El Sobrante CA. Incident: Paid and running all my laundry in the washer before the 9pm shut down time, accept for 1 washer that just need to start, tapping my ApplePay to the scanner but having trouble. So my son was wondering maybe someone can help, here comes the attendant (Tall, Older white lady looking maybe in her 60's or so, wears glasses with multicolored mid length hair). I thought she approached to help us but she started yapping about No it won't work because it's 9pm already. Mind you I've been going to other BB laundromat locations, and this is the first time I was treated this way. So I explained oh I loaded before 9pm and the clock still on to go I'm told at the other BB's if it goes on OFF mode then it's shut down. And this machine was still fine until she starts arguing instead of helping. She said she wants to go home and going on and on that it's 9pm very rudely. And I said I understand, (she won't let me get a word in to explain)... she said yelling and we now have an audience, "NO YOU DONT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE IF YOU DID THEN YOU WONT BE LOADING YOUR SHIT I WANT TO GO HOME AND YOU BETTER HAVE YOUR SHIT OUT THE DRYERS BEFORE 10PM!YOU KNOW I AM RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG. YOU SHOULD'VE WENT TO THE OTHER LOCATION INSTEAD AND NOT HERE!" I just saw red, because Ive never been spoken to that way nor would I dare talk to our hospital patients that way (we get a lot of homeless polysubstance abusers and psych patients)! I've been in healthcare for more than 25 years so I very much understand GREAT customer service! This was really BAD! I said to her I am not about to argue with you, get the F@$! away from my face! why are you even talking to me like that? She said I started arguing with her (gaslight!) I said ok "Karen", wow this is how you treat your customers, you can't address the issue kindly?! I told her we are already removing the clothes out of the damn washer yet she proceeded on still yapping away. I needed to diffuse the heat by leaving that area where she's standing by me and my son! Every customer there was watching her making a scene being disrespectful. I am embarrassed calling her out her name for her "Karen" behavior. I let my clothes finished washing and we left the place with our laundry still wet in our bags and baskets because we do not wanna deal with her energy another second! I will never go back to that location as long as that "Karen" still works there! I will also send this complaint to BBB, Google and other business platforms so this can never happen again! I would give this place five stars but the only problem happens to be the white lady with glasses who works evenings on weekends. No one else who worked there before ever had a problem with anyone folding there past 930 but this lady seriously has issues with it. I have been using BB's for years. Over the past year, I have utilized their wash and fold service 2-4 times a month because I also use this service for my mom's laundry. A few months ago I began to notice small articles of my clothing missing. I took clothes in last week, and after going through my clothes, I noticed I am missing most of my undergarments, my socks, and my face towels, and one of my large bath towels. I I am furious. I have had enough of my things missing. I know it's my word against the employees. Therefore, I know that it's a lost cause. I will never utilize their services again. Been coming here during the day for quite a while but this evening I decided to come at night since I only had one load. What turned into a in and out thing turned into a few hours thing. I put in a load left and came back within 30 minutes and was greeted by a machine turned off. When ask why the machine was turned off she (Lisa) said there was too many studs on the inside of my washer and it looks like it was going to bubble out. My bad I used Gain and that's what laundry detergent does. When I asked her would I be reimbursed since washer was turned off before time and my clothes needed to be washed. Lisa stated no and she would call her manager Vickie. Vickie no better! Manager ready to argue before hearing the case basically said what you want? Before I could finish, she was telling me"that's what all the customers say" so basically that's the way they making they money. Vickie said no refund on machine that was stopped before time and I would have to repay to get the suds out of my clothes. Asked to Vickie to have owner call me she told me to give my information to Lisa. Gave information to Lisa she said she'll have Ben the owner call me. Now I'm waiting to hear from Ben. So glad I used my credit card so I can go straight to BBB!!! I never really post but this place shady at night I see. Be careful. Ok, so this morning I get a call from Ben asking what happened. I explained the whole story again. Which by the way he stated he already read my review. After hearing me out he explains that there revenue is made by getting people in and out not double charging and my machine had an error code with the door. I explain that even with all that being said I shouldn't have had to repay for another wash. His tells me they offered you a coupon. Yeah after I paid for another wash. Then he says you did have a lot of soap in the machine like he has there. Really defensive and even though he's an owner he knows nothing about customer service. I was dreading taking my quilts and blankets to the laundromat after changing my beds to winter flannel sheets and down comforters. My home machine is too small for the larger, heavier machines. I went online and saw this laundromat which had good reviews and wasn't that much farther than the one I have used in the past. I was impressed with the note on their website about COVID precautions, and the fact that there is an attendant present, so I tried it. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and love the size ranges of machines. I saw no out-of-order signs on any equipment. The attendant was pleasant and helpful. My parents always came here when I was younger to wash our large blankets and comforters so I decided to do the same with mine today. Although there is a laundromat closer to my house, this one got better reviews and I'm so glad I came here! Super clean, large selection of machines, very helpful worker, and I was done way faster than I thought. The 4-load washer is a little pricey (18 quarters) but got the job done. WoW! Talk about EXTREME MAKEOVER! At one time this place was and old run down dump, then out of nowhere this place turned into the Disneyland version of Laundromats. I'm serious! This has got to be the cleanest, coolest, friendliest place in town! New arcade games, big screen TV, friendly staff, and very comfortable. I have been looking for a laundromat that has staff on site, free wifi coin exchanger, and clean machines. The attendant was very nice, ans informative about the machines. Parking lot is big, and big vehicle friendly. (On site vending machines) Soda pop machine, laundry product machine,and snack machine. Located next to a gas station, and dollar tree is right across the street. There is also a second location with an 8 load washer. Nice variety of different washers, and also high efficiency washers. Plenty of dryers, and also clean folding tables. Reasonably priced. read more
