Nice and clean. Easy to use machines. The only negative was how loud the tv was. Not everyone likes a loud blaring tv. Please show your customers courtesy and mute your tv. I left and will dry my clothes at home so I don't have to hear the super loud television. read more

Lesson learned. The owner here is not very friendly. There's no attendant here so once your coins is taken by the machine there's no one can help you. I used my ATM card here for the amount of $5.25 for 1 machine the next day I saw my statement I was charged $15. I tried to call/text the owner to refund my money the rude owner ignored my calls/texts. So I suggest you DO NOT USE your ATM card here. It's all good. KARMA do it's work. read more

Within a couple hours of using my card here I started getting a bunch of fraudulent charges on my card and had to cancel my card and dispute the transactions with my credit card company. I had a series of half a dozen stops to make yesterday, starting in Crockett and working my way to Pleasant Hill. Laundry had to be done first, though, so I checked Yelp for a laundromat close to my first stop. The Clothesline came up with good reviews, so I carted my laundry from San Francisco to Rodeo. I tend to judge laundromats on things they have no control over. Parking, for example. Unfair, I know, but if I can't routinely park within yards of the door, I won't bother returning. I'm getting older and my patience is getting shorter, so NICE AND EASY is how I like things. At The Clothesline, there were plenty of parking spots very close to entrance. I parked within my requisite few yards of the door. Once inside, I noticed that The Clothesline is narrow. Very narrow. If it gets crowded you'll be hard-pressed to move around with a cart, of which there were only 4 that I counted. Fortunately, the owners allowed for a cart-sized gap in the middle of the folding counter for people trying to pass each other on either side. That said, you almost don't even need a cart here. It's narrow enough that you can take your clothes out of the washer on the left side, plop them onto the center folding counter, walk around to the other side, and load up the dryer. There's a good amount of seating, with a row of about half a dozen chairs in the back and several counter-height stools scattered near the front. Good seating is a non-negotiable for me in a laundromat because I'm not one to put my clothes into the machine and leave. I watch my shit like a hawk. For not being that large of a space, there are a lot of machines. I have no doubt that I'd be able to get my washing done even if it were crowded, which it was not at 10am on a Sunday. The smaller new machines have a 21-minute cycle and the dryers get it done in 30 minutes so it was one of the fastest times that I've been in and out of a laundromat. It was actually a pleasure doing my wash here. It was nice and easy, just how I like it. read more

Excellent ice cream machine added in the laundromat . I enjoy the variety of different flavors which include vanilla, chocolate, coffee, strawberry, Choco taco, M&M, grape, lime, coconut, and mango. The price is quite cheap, around 1 to 2 dollars. After a good meal around the Rodeo Safeway shopping center, my family always enjoys some dessert from this ice cream vending machine. read more

Standard old fashioned laundromat. The only modern tech is that you can conveniently use Apple Pay on some of the machines. Like ALL other laundromats, they will charge your card ($15) and when you spend over it, they charge you again. Places do this to avoid getting as many transaction fees from the bank. Anything you don't spend is returned to your account. The workers are very friendly and they often give my kid free snacks from the vending machine. read more

Been coming here for years even after I moved out of the neighborhood. They recently updated their machines and some even accept credit/Apple/google Pay which is convenient and great. Pretty standard laundromat, quarter machine, detergent/dryer sheet/fabric softener vending machine, snack/drink/ice cream vending machine, free WiFi and a TV in the back corner. My only complaint is more tables and updated seats. read more

I've been going to the clothesline for several years and I have NEVER been been so embarrassed, disrespected, and to be honest stereotyped in my entire life. I'm not sure who the elderly, Asian American lady is, but I believe she is the owners wife. The son, husband and wife are typically on site I ran in to throw my comforters in the dryer during my daughters zoom break, i had already been there to wash them about an hour earlier. I was immediately stopped by this lady who was irate and absolutely disrespectful. She literally charged herself at me and my daughter while throwing herself in front of the quarter matching that clearly reads "Customers Only". Mind you, I had to collect myself for a minute because I didn't know who this person was running up to me and my CHILD yelling and pointing at us! She begins to YELL and point her finger in my face while stating that the quarter machine is for customers only. I tell her that I AM a customer and my clothes are in the washing machine. She completely ignores me and starts pointing at the "CUSTOMERS ONLY" sign and yells that I am "Trespassing" and "Stealing" quarters??? I proceed to get change anyways and tell her that if she doesn't back away from me and my daughter I will call the police on her. I proceed to walk over to my WASHING MACHINE where my comforters were waiting to be put in the dryer and her jaw dropped. She immediately apologized but I wasn't hearing it. She caused a scene for no reason. I was humiliated and my daughter was hysterical. I told her that I was a customer from the start. Regardless, that is no way to approach anyone. She was completely out of line. She went to the back and brought my daughter a bag of Fritos lays as an "apology". I don't want frito lays, I want something done about this lady wether she's part owner or not! Why would she treat me like that? Especially in front of my child? Even AFTER I told her that my clothes were in the washing machine??? She basically called me a LIAR because she didn't believe me when I told her that I was a customer. So many questions about this scenario. Needless to say, I won't be back. I spend at least $50 each visit, others are wayyy cheaper this one is just closer to my house. read more

I love this laundromat. It is always clean and well lit. The machines are all new (2018) and vary in size. I have come both during the week and on a Saturday. The Saturday was obviously busier but there were still plenty of available machines. While it is not attended per say, both times I've been there a woman has come to clean up and tidy and make sure everything is working fine. There is also a vending machine with snacks as well as laundry supplies. It's in a well shopping center with plenty of other businesses and people. As a young woman, I have also felt very safe here. read more

Closline is a coin operated laundromat located in the Safeway shopping center in Rodeo. It's a convenient shopping center with the basics: bank, nail salons, and a couple of restaurants. This laundromat definitely fits the no frills, basic approach. This small laundromat could benefit from having someone on staff to sweep up the place every now and then. By 3:30 there were stray dryer sheets all over the place. So, don't drop anything. Besides that, $1.25 for 25 minutes of drying seems a lot but the dryers are large so plan your wash loads accordingly. I wasn't bothered by anyone while I was there but granted I was there late afternoon. read more

The store recently upgraded many new 2019 Speed Queen Washers. By the way, Clothesline laundry is close to Safeway and Mechanics Bank, which is much safer than the San Pablo area. Plus, Clothesline has many extra parking spaces (parking in the front or back of the building is OK). It's my favorite spot for a while read more

The machines work great, I came here because I have a huge comforter that I couldn't wash at home. Washed it was $6.75 & dry it was $.50 a little expensive but it's cleaned now. My issue is if your a girl just dress with loose fitting clothes. I wore a loose shirt and yoga pants and got creeped out by two different men trying to talk to me which I had to fake a phone call to get away from. I didn't see any security in the shopping center so if the place had been empty I would have been very frightened. read more

This is a nice little laundromat. It's clean and the washers and dryers work well. There's three different size washers for small loads up to very large loads. The only problem is it is small and when there are more than 5 people in there it gets hard to move around. Parking can be a little bit of a problem especially later on in the day. But over all it's clean and the machines work nice. read more
