This review is long overdue. I got my first haircut after over a year of covid/lockdown from Mikee in May 2021. My hair was pretty nasty and stringy since I hadn't gotten it cut since the before times (Feb 2020 ). Mikee did an awesome job giving me a fresh cut. She was super welcoming, friendly, and down to earth. I loved that she talked to me throughout the process to make sure she knew what I wanted, ask my opinion, and just to chat! I've never had a stylist who seemed to care as much as she does. She's very easy to get along with and talk to :) Making an appointment was super easy over text and Mikee was communicative. She even made sure to contact me when she thought there might be an extra person in the studio (due to covid safety). It was a great experience and I will definitely be going back to her. I'm very happy with my experience with BBS studio first of all Mikee and Liz are some of the nicest and beautiful women I have ever met, I really enjoyed my time with them! The treatment flew by so fast due to how much I was enjoying myself, the conversation didn't feel forced or fake Mikee genuinely looked and sounded like she loves what she's doing. She met my expectations and more ! I went in for a Keratin treatment and let me tell y'all I left with such beautiful soft shiny hair it even looked longer after she was done! I was nervous to go in at first because of Covid but I was happy to see they had pexiglass in between the stations and they didn't have anyone cramped into the place they always wore a mask which I appreciated everything was fairly clean as well . Mikee just did my hair last week and I am absolutely in LOVE with my hair. Ever since Mikee first started doing my hair a few years ago I have not gone to anyone else...shes THAT GOOD. I have long, naturally curly hair, so finding a stylist who understands what I'm looking for can be a challenge. She listened when I described what I was looking for.
