I saw a mouse in my apartment and a friend and I sealed what we thought were the access points to keep mice from coming into my home. However, after I saw another mouse, I called and signed a contract with B.C. Exterminating to help us find and seal holes that we knew we had missed. Even though I thought it was very pricey ($700+), I paid it because I was stressed and wanted their expertise to find the remaining access points and solve the problem. To their credit, they did find additional holes in the first two weeks of the contract and laid traps and poison throughout the apt. which did catch several mice. However, after another mouse came into my apartment it was obvious that there was a hole(s) that they had missed. Again, I asked my friend for help and he took the necessary time to investigate and was able to find the additional access points. The next time, the employee sent by the owner came to my apartment, I asked him to let the owner know that I was unhappy that between the two of them they had missed several key access points. Thus, I was disappointed that the owner never contacted me to offer an adjustment or at the very least an explanation/apology. He took my payment but I was not satisfied with his work. In addition, the owner pulled out my dishwasher to plug potential access holes and didn't re-secure it to the cabinet. So, my friend had to fix this as well. Unfortunately, if I had found additional signs of mice, I would not have contacted them anyway because I had lost confidence in their ability to solve the problem because of their lack of attention to detail. Really great company if you need to get rid of a mice problem quickly. We went with a reputable company last year that claimed to have sealed everything, for an expensive price, and this year the mice were back. All over our basement furniture again, which we had to re clean and disinfect. We found these guys on Yelp, and decided to give them a try. I contacted them through the Yelp estimate button, and sure enough Oswaldo responded the same day. He came out the next day to see the problem, provide a quote and start treatment. There would be 2 follow up visits included which was great. The price felt a little higher than I wanted, but because I wanted it handled quickly I hired them. They were very good about putting on shoe covers and they even cleaned and disinfected any mouse laden areas, which the previous company did not offer to do. Additionally, they inspected much more thoroughly, including our crawl space and exterior walls, and found a few holes that the other company missed. All 3 visits they were punctual, showing up right on the time they quoted (beginning range of time which I loved). Overall, fast, easy to get in touch with guys who do the job well. Mild downside is that their guarantee is only 30 days - wish it was longer. I will call them again if we have another extermination issue, but hopefully with these fixes no more mice to be seen! read more

Fantastic. We had bird mites from a nest on our front door creep into the house. They are very small and multiply very quickly. It was truly a nightmare. Wife thought a large rhino had moved into our attic, and once I heard him I was convinced also. Call BC and they arrived later that afternoon. Oswald & James found no rhinos, but did detect evidence of Micky & Minie setting up house. Traps were set, also cracks & holes were closed. Oswald did a great job on our house. We had a mouse (but who knows how many, really). He didn't just put out traps or poison. He put expanding foam in the gaps in our garage and under our sink to stop giving the mice a way to get in. Frankly, I think that he improved the insulation of our garage in the process (though I don't really have any way to say for sure on that). Great! Called early in the morning after finding a mouse (alive) and he was there by 1pm. He was VERY thorough which impressed me and walked me through everything. We've been using BC Pest Extermination Services for two years now and have never regretted it. Our previous pest company would frequently skip appointments and could not seem to help us with our mouse problem no matter how many times they came. By contrast, Oswaldo immediately discovered all sorts of entry points the mice were using to get into our house. He then recommended a series of treatments to deal with the mice, laid out a concrete plan for blocking the holes, and recommended a good contractor to help with the project. Oswaldo and his contractor took care of everything promptly and with great attention to detail. Since that project, we've schedule routine quarterly maintenance visits with BC Pest Extermination to refresh the mouse traps in the problem areas of the house and spray the perimeter of our house to prevent other pests. He was a nice enough guy, was responsive and came when he said he'd come. That's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. He charged ~$550 for ant treatment, which included another month or so of free treatment. Then it was supposed to be ~$85 for each treatment after the first month. When the ants came back a few months later, I called back and he tried to charge me $225 for two more treatments! So I can spend close to $800 for ant treatments that don't even work! I just laughed and said never mind. Probably better to just get some bug spray and take care of the problem yourself. read more

These guys are great. I had a problem with Norway rats in my walls that had chewed through the wood siding and were eating my insulation and nesting. I had no idea where the entry points were. Terminex couldn't hack it. James and Carl rolled up on time, with a guarantee they would fix the problem. I was skeptical at first when two dudes in a Pontiac showed up instead of a work van, but they solved the problem through periodic installations of tracking powder and multiple visits. They were meticulous, honest, and reasonably priced. They are friendly and actually seem to take their job as a challenge to succeed; super professional demeanor too. The initial price of $700 wasn't the cheapest but definitely in the ballpark with several other vendors' prices. Oswaldo came to the house to do the work and I ended up purchasing a maintenance plan of $85 for every two months to replace traps and provide treatment for ALL pest infestation.
