If you have ever been to a Taylor Rental, it is a place to rent expensive equipment such as tools,…read moreparty equipment and even heavy machinery. Having not ever run a paint sprayer before, I decided to rent one to redo a basement with Latex paint on the walls. Calling three or four days ahead allows you to reserve it by putting down a credit card. Seems easy right? That is until you meet the staff at this particular location. Not a lot of personality nor an ounce of customer service. No greetings, no anything. I mean its situated in Wellesley (no offense) but its a rental place for crying out loud. Regardless, the rental seems smooth (except for the $150 deposit you have to put down to rent one of these things) and then I get home to use it and the thing does not want to work with the thickness of the paint. Diluting it does not work either so it basically fails. I return it one day early only to be beaten up by I guess the owner who looked like he was either having a bad day or hates working at a Taylor Rental, because he would have never rented this to me, had he knew I was using it for a basement. The guy not only started going off on me, he started going off on the guy helping me to return this. I told him to eat the deposit for the trouble and have a nice day. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and this is one of the worst rental places in the area. Tell you what, educate your customers on your equipment prior to renting and go learn some customer service! if you ever want to rent something, stick with the location in West Roxbury. At least you won't get treated poorly by some irate manager.

Although we had an theme idea for our event, DD's vision, ideas and professionalism were paramount to it all coming together. My planner, Josephine (a/k/a Marcia) was fantastic to work with. She helped with everything from concept to execution. Although we had contracted scheduled meetings; she made herself available whenever I had questions or needed feedback. She helped me to make the good decisions to stay within my budget; even recommending complimentary vendor services of competitors. Event's are expensive and she made it cost-effective. The day of the event went very smooth with setup and breakdown. They did everything so well and made potentially stressful event planning, so seamless. We were very pleased with how well our event turned out and got so many compliments on the balloon display, table decor and layout and overall aesthetic of our themed party. I was calling them almost on a daily basis to either add or take away things, from the dance floor to the chairs to the linens they were all ironed individually, put on hangers in plastic, take a look at the pictures and this was for 130 people So accommodating, I also want to send out kudos to Eric this guy worked so hard for me even though I thought I drove him crazy, and to the whole staff I'm sorry I can't remember all your names but all of you whenever I walked in there or called we're so accommodating. I had to send two emails and a phone call to get a response. Then the drop off time changed 3 times. Not OK when you have to take time off work for no reason because they said one time then changed it. If the communication was better I would say Id recommend them but when you are worrying about alot of other things during a wedding prep the chairs people are going to sit on should be the last and unfortunately it was the first! so with that and the dirty chairs id have to say NO.
