The whole team at Taunton Rental were absolutely amazing, l've been working with them since May. Each person took care of me 100% on my needs right down to the day before when I needed two 20x40 sided tents due to the rain, they had them they came out they put them up I couldn't have been more pleased with this business. I was calling them almost on a daily basis to either add or take away things, from the dance floor to the chairs to the linens they were all ironed individually, put on hangers in plastic, take a look at the pictures and this was for 130 people So accommodating, I also want to send out kudos to Eric this guy worked so hard for me even though I thought I drove him crazy, and to the whole staff I'm sorry I can't remember all your names but all of you whenever I walked in there or called we're so accommodating. Renting from Taunton rental seemed to be going well until they actually came to drop off my order. I was handed an invoice that was different from the original invoice that was emailed to me. Somebody went in and changed the price for labor and delivery, but never called me and informed me of the change. When I called to inquire about this change I was met with attitude and rudeness and hung up on. I was told if I didn't like the fact that the invoice had changed then I didn't have to pay it and they would take the tent and tables and chairs back. Obviously with an event being the next day, I could not refuse the rental so I had no choice but to pay the new invoice. The owner did talk to my brother (yes I am a woman and when it was me who called nothing was done) and split the difference with me, but given this was their error that they didn't correct I do not feel I should've had to pay the additional $50. The man who was rude to me did call and apologize. However, the situation was not really made correct. They should have honored the original invoice that they sent out and agreed upon. As you can see from the photo of my original invoice and the invoice that I received the day of they went in and changed the price and the delivery date. The delivery date reflected an August 9 drop off even though the original invoice was for August 10 and it WAS delivered August 10, which happened to be tax-free weekend. By changing it to the ninth, deposit it being delivered the 10th, they were still able to charge me the sales tax as well. Overall, I feel like I was scammed and would not recommend anybody rent from Taunton rental. read more

My name is Jeanette Kniolek and my entire family has been renting with Taunton rental since I can remember, and it has always been a great experience! I have had Kathleen, Kenny, and Chris all help me with different need threw out the years. They are polite, accommodating, and Abouve all else intelligent. When hosting my sisters baby shower they made sure extra linens were sent to ensure Quality, the men that did the set up were punctual, and helpful they went Abouve and beyond to help us get ready. Setting up lights and rearranging the dance floor multiple time because we could not decide where it should go. During another time we rented a bobcat to dig a retention pond in my back yard. Kenny was very helpful with directing my husband on how to acquire the proper licensing needed to operate the machine. The day of the delivery went really smooth. The machine was in great condition well kept and worked wonderfully all in all the pond came out great and there is no more flooding in my basement. The price point at Taunt Rental is fantastic, they are reasonably priced. There has been one time when there was a miscommunication on my part and they not only fixed the problem but also gave me a free upgrade considering that it was not their fault at all was a huge surprise! 9 months prior to my backyard wedding, I called Taunton rental and spoke with Kathleen, the "owner's daughter." I explained to her how many guests we were anticipating and she set me up a rental package with the tent, tables and chairs, dance floor, and linens. I thought she was so helpful, until she wasn't. Fast forward to a few weeks prior to the most important day of our lives, I set up a meeting with her to finalize everything, she's not there, no communication. Luckily someone else was, since they explained to me the tent she had chosen for us was not large enough for all of the tables and chairs we had with a dance floor. Due to her error I got to pay more for a second tent to be able to fit everything. The day came, everything was delivered. The guys that came to set up were all great, super helpful & friendly. The items delivered, not so great. The chairs were all dirty and needed to be cleaned before they could actually be used, the linens were stained, the tent duct taped. (Had I mentioned these were the items for the most important day of our lives?) The following day, since our event was held in at a rental property, I needed them to come and pick up everything before we left, as they had said they would. I called Kathleen to see if they would be coming soon, they weren't. I explained to her how awful she had been to work with. Her response- "likewise" along with blaming me for her errors along the way. It was my fault "her guys were there all day." They were actually there all day due to not having the right pieces for the tents and having to return to their home base at least 3 times. Moral of the story, if you're hosting an important event, I would absolutely look elsewhere due to the customer service from Kathleen alone, which is a shame because the guys were great. I won't be renting from here again, nor will anyone I know. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! We rented the princess bounce house/slide, tables and chairs and everything was absolutely horrible! To start the bounce house was absolutely disgusting inside they do not take time to make sure their bounce houses are clean and sanitary for their customers. There was stuck on grass, paper, etc inside smelled like piss. The tables were in horrible condition chunks of wood missing from tabletops, splintered wood everywhere, legs missing rivits. Thankfully I had tablecloths as i would have been extremely embarrassed if I didn't. When we went to return everything the moron who was taking stuff out of the truck scratched his BRAND NEW TRUCK then hit him in the head with the pole... NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED AT ALL! They guided me through many changes, some at the last minute! They were always super nice to deal with and saved me lots of stress. Everything was done perfectly.
