Warning: Avoid Starlite Motor Sports Car Deposit…read moreWithheld and Legal Threat Made I strongly caution against doing business with Starlite Auto Sales. The owner refused to return my $500.00 deposit after the pre-purchase inspection revealed significant undisclosed mechanical and body issues. When I requested the refund, the owner stated, "I would gladly see you in court." Incident Summary (2008 Lexus IS250 AWD): Initial Misrepresentation: I inquired about a Dark Blue 2008 Lexus IS250 AWD and was repeatedly assured by the owner that the vehicle was in "great mechanical working order." I specifically asked if he would let his mother or sister drive it, to which he replied, "yes, it's a great car." Deposit & Inspection: I wired a $500.00 deposit based on these assurances. I then arranged for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) at K and M Auto, a certified mechanic, which cost me $160.00. Inspection Findings: The PPI clearly contradicted the owner's claims. Key issues included: Inoperable Windows and Sunroof: All windows (except one) and the sunroof were non-functional--a critical safety/comfort defect that was clearly concealed. Body Damage: An obvious dent on the driver's side was omitted from the promotional video and photos. Water Damage: Rust and pooled water were found in the trunk near the spare tire well. Brakes and Tires: Contrary to the owner's claim of "new" tires, the PPI noted issues with the brakes and did not validate the tire claims. Conclusion: The inspection confirmed the owner was deceptive about the vehicle's true condition. When I cancelled the purchase based on these findings, the owner illegally retained my $500.00 deposit. I never want anyone buying a car to be unsafe so, do your pre-Inspection 1st and Never send money to hold. A pre-inspection should be done first. So, a honest review is more costly than court in the long run and there is such a thing called Karma. Karma will take 100000 plus fold so, for the return of a 500.00 deposit to losing long term repeat customers cost more than 500,000 and no referrals. BUYERS DO YOUR PRE- PURCHASE INSPECTIONS

If I could give this shady place ZERO stars, I would…read more.. The only key I was given to my vehicle was mangled and wrapped in electrical tape with no buttons (see photos). Titan quoted it as a "simple" $150 replacement/repair, but after calling several Mitsubishi dealerships and locksmiths about a replacement, I discovered that it'll be $350+, especially since there are no buttons on the only key I have. I couldn't even lock my new vehicle without the alarm going off because of it. It wasn't quite worth the $150 discount...nor the hassle of making sure the end of be key didn't fall off because if lost there was NO WAY to duplicate the key because the chip was faulty. On top of that, the tires only had between 3/32nds and 5/32nds tread left and one didn't match the other three, setting off the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light because AWD vehicles rely on them matching in order to function properly. I ended up having to buy four new tires. The glovebox was also dirty with food crumbs covering the bottom (see photos). How does the detailer miss that?! Oh yeah, they didn't touch the car after buying it from an auction. The salesman didn't even know if I was buying the LS or SE until after the sale (I had to look it up via the VIN). Also, the vehicle didn't come with any floor mats whatsoever and the rear passenger window didn't go down... Titan promised to resolve the window issue once they opened their garage attached to the building. It's been 7 months and a half dozen ignored emails later, and I still haven't gotten a response or resolution. The only acceptable answer would be that they were shutdown by the BBB already. I took it upon myself to inspect the problem only to discover that the electrical connection from the rear window was disconnected and shoved back in the guts of the door (see photos). It took an hour of monkeying around to reconnect it (and it worked again), but I fixed it myself. They just buy used vehicles and flip them without paying any attention to details or taking any effort to bring them up to normal selling standards. If you play to buy from them, you're a fool. Expect very high interest rates too. Completely unacceptable. RUN!!! P.S. They tried to bribe me (along with every customer) with a $10 gas card if we wrote a nice review and showed them in person (even before I left with my vehicle or had time to give my honest feedback). I'm so glad I held off because it would not have been worth it. Ignore ALL 5 star reviews!

So, there was this lady out driving around on February 1, 2023, and she wasn't paying attention to my car going through the intersection and I couldn't avoid her. I'll spare you all her drama and hysterics. End result, this particularly unpleasant lady's negligence resulted in my car being totaled. After what I thought was an appropriate mourning period, I felt ready to welcome another Ford Escape back into my life. Finding right one was a tiresome process. Some didn't match their profile photo, and that was just a deal breaker. I wanted to have my dads blessing when I thought I found one I could be happy with. He inspected the profile and agreed. So yesterday afternoon we drove to Barron's Auto Sales and Details. It was pretty much love at first sight. My soon to be 2010 Ford Escape was just sitting there all golden and gleaming in the sunshine peeking through the clouds. We got the keys and me and my dad took it for a little test drive. I felt right at home sitting behind the wheel. My dead was impressed with the way it drove. We both agreed I should buy it. My finances were limited as I haven't been paid for my beloved 06. We went into the office and met Hugo Lara and discussed a price we were both happy with. I'm almost embarrassed to admit this but I've never bought a car on my own. Ive always used my own money but my dad has always been there and I'm so grateful for that. So I thought I was going into this with pre approval. Nope. So I'm also grateful for Mr. Lara for giving me a brief education on how pre approval works and his efforts to secure an auto loan for me with a reasonable monthly payment and interest rate. Thank you Hugo Lara for making a used car purchase a pleasant experience. 2023 Review-#5

And most importantly, WITHOUT trying to "sell" us. There was no haggling or tricks and they were completely forthcoming with the vehicles history condition etc. On a street of endless used-car dealerships and desperate salespeople, Barrons seriously stood out among the lame competition. And welcomed us as a young couple without looking to take advantage. With help from Sushi and Theresa they were urgent in addressing a few minors such as tire pressure and alignment before purchasing, and we were able to get my wife a reliable and new car that makes me honestly jealous...
