Very cutely decorated space with lots of local vendors displayed. A very diverse menu and even has gluten free pastry options that are separated from the others! I originally came for the coffee and didn't see anywhere that they had gluten free options but was pleasantly surprised. I tried the gluten free blueberry muffins and it was moist and delicious. My son, grandson and I stopped in for coffee. It is a pleasant little shop with a lovely outdoor court yard. Everything is decorated with bees. Cute. My son got a French toast coffee. It was a cold coffee and it did taste just like French toast. Yum My grandson got an old fashioned Orange Julius. And it tasted just like I remembered. So good. A blast from the past. I had a Caramel macchiato. Nice. Hot. Lots of whipped cream. Great caramel flavor. The cashiers were sweet and very helpful with answering our questions on all the flavors. read more

Well, maybe we just visited on an off day 5/14/26. I took my wife and 21yr old granddaughter there for "breakfast". We had a turkey/avocado wrap from the side refrigerator, a peach danish, some cinnamon swirl cake for food. We drank: a large dark black coffee, small regular coffee and "blueberry" iced drink. The wrap was so-so but it was dated 5/8 and I didn't' see that until after I had eaten half of it. The hot coffees were warm as if they hadn't been heated hot enough or the carafes were left open. The cinnamon swirl did not taste fresh and the peach danish must have been a day-old or so. We agreed we might try it again, but it will be at a future random date. The ambience is what attracted us in the first place; but the food and beverages were not acceptable, sorry. The service was very nice! read more

Got the white chocolate cherry mocha half sweet and it was super tasty! We grabbed the banana bread and it was a little dry. The seating isn't super comfy and the area is a bit cramped but it's great to take to go I think! I forget about this spot but I'll be back in for more drinks! read more

This is my first time checking out Be Kind Coffee Co and I'll gladly say that I'll be back! There are lots of cute decor inside and outside of the shop and it's so inviting. I decided to get their spring drink special and got an iced white mocha w/ lavender cold foam and a slice of their cinnamon coffee cake. The drink is so pretty and it's SO GOOD! I'm not sure what roast they use, but it was smooth, strong, and it paired well with my drink. What's even better, there's a cute butterfly garnish on top (don't worry it's made out of rice paper lol). Their cinnamon coffee cake was also delicious and it's probably one of the best coffee cakes I've had in any other coffee shop! For sure I'll be back here! read more

This review is going to be an unpopular one. We've been checking out local coffee spots near our home the last couple of weekends. First let me say that we always look for 20 oz. hot latte's and the first thing we noticed when looking over their menu was they only offer 20 oz. in iced coffee. Ugh, disappointing. We proceeded to order two sugar free caramel, vanilla latte's. The total was $15 something before tip which is on the high side especially since they were smaller than we typically order. They do have a cute outdoor area but the inside felt overfully full of stuff, and they had many items for sale including Be Kind shirts. It was a tight squeeze with a handful of customers inside. We like to get a sticker from places we visit to add to my tool box or cabinet. They had stickers but at $3 each we chose not to get one. Our coffees were ready in a few minutes and we opted to enjoy them in the car while heading to breakfast. We did like the cups they use which offer some extra insulation and do not require a sleeve. The flavor was good, the service was adequate but overall there are better options for us. This was just okay for us and we will likely go elsewhere. read more

I can't believe I never stopped in here before! What a gem of a place in Clemmons! I'm not a coffee drinker but my husband wanted some and so I figured I'd get a hot chocolate or something. To my surprise when upon entering the whole place was decked out in Harry Potter themed decor! I'm a total HP fan so this was such a wonderful surprise! They happened to have Butterbeer on the menu so of course that is what I got. We also got a butter beer Rice Krispie treat. A conversation with the owner let us know they did this every August in celebration of Harry Potters birthday. I absolutely loved this experience and the atmosphere was so much fun! read more

This place is a cute spot to stop for a quick drink. I wouldn't consider this a place to work or study, but it's a great place to grab a tasty drink if you've got the cash. I recently got 1 drink special and it was about $14 - that was shocking. Don't get me wrong, it was really tasty, but the cost was insane! The staff can be a little cranky, not always, but of the handful of times I've been to Be Kind Coffee the majority has been a rather cranky experience. But I'm their defense, the sanitation barrier makes it super difficult to hear, so I could see the staff getting frustrated throughout the day and coming off as cranky from having to basically yell at customers all day. I will forever be a fan of Be Kind, and you are truly missing out if you haven't been here! They have the most creative seasonal drinks ever and I always look forward to seeing what they're serving up! On this March visit, I had to try the Pot o Gold latte - made with cereal milk! It was so delicious, and they topped it with lucky charms! I also got to try one of their cherry Poptarts and wow. They make everything from scratch, including the dough and the delicious cherry filling. Highly recommend all of their baked goods and pastries! Amanda, the owner, is truly one of the kindest people on the planet. The name is not just a name, they truly try to put kindness into the world, not only with how they treat their customers but by being involved in their community and supporting charitable causes. Amanda always recognizes and greets me like a long time friend, and I notice she does the same to just about everyone who walks in the door. This is a neighborhood coffee shop that people feel like family. The staff are always friendly and so kind. You will feel like home here! Adorable new little coffee place in Clemmons with delicious drinks AND treats! I'm not the biggest coffee drinker and originally planned to try their Peppermint Mocha and wanted to get decaf since I'm pregnant but their machine wasn't working so I just opted for a hot chocolate with peppermint which was delicious. My husband got the white chocolate peppermint latte which I had a few sips of and it was sooo good! We had also ordered the cinnamon coffee cake but initially didn't get it. It was very loud (good news that it was busy- but social distanced!) and I wasn't sure if they didn't hear me order it or it was just forgotten. I went up to the front to ask after we got our drinks and they provided the coffee cake and threw in 2 lemon cookies (which were DELICIOUS!). Service was great, love the decor inside and both the drinks and treats were delicious so we will definitely be back! read more

I stopped into Be Kind Coffee Co and couldn't be happier. The shop is in a very small strip of shops next to the Clemmons library. Masks are required to be worn at all times (both guests and staff) and have little squares on the floor to encourage safe distancing. They have plexiglass around the entire perimeter of the counter but don't mind if you step around the corner to get a better look at the menu as depending on the time of day, there is a major glare. Luckily I found a good angle wheee I could read it. I ordered a small salted caramel latte and was pleased that they could accommodate my request of having the milk steamed to 130F. I didn't taste much of the salted caramel as the espresso seemed a little bitter and overpowering for me. This won't stop me from returning, however I would definitely try something else next time. I also got a couple of the Iced Italian Lemon cookies and oh my goodness...I need a whole box of them. I could have eaten them both but I saved one for my husband. lol Overall, it is the cutest little shop and the staff were all very warm and welcoming and will definitely recommend them to others and be back myself. read more

Not quite sure why I haven't been here before. It is one of the quaintest coffee shops I've been to. Tons of little gifts type things all around the store. Unusual stuff I've never seen before. Great seating inside and they have a nice area outside with a fire pit. Dare I say it's very cute, and the biggest plus is how nice the staff is. I know this is a family run place and it shows in their care of their customers and their place here. Extremely clean inside as well, be kind is a true local coffee shop. Their menu is also vast and their pastries look divine, and very fresh. So many seasonal choices and all the classics. I ordered a caramel latte. And it was made quickly and nice and caramely. They have all the milk choices everyone likes these days. I wish they were open when I'm not working! Which is why I haven't been before. Closed Sunday's and Monday's . Super glad I decided to go on my way to work on a Saturday! I hope the area supports this business and it continues to flourish. Nothing beats a family run small business on the up. read more

This coffee shop lives up to its name. The staff was incredibly kind. The coffee and scone were amazing to boot. I had the seasonal pumpkin macchiato with praline foam. It was flavorful without being to sweet. Their beans come from a roaster in Charlotte and they have a good flavor. The scone was perfect. The sweet tart flavors were delicious. Plus it was moist. The shop itself is super cute and they have a lot of outdoor seating. They have coffee grounds you can grab for your garden which is so cool. Unfortunately, my latte was pretty disgusting - it tasted sour, I don't know if it was burnt or old. Drink #1: French Toast Latte - really gross sour tasting, ended up just tossing it out and missing my morning cup of coffee. I took it to go so I was too far down the road to send it back. Drink #2: Cookies & Cream Frappe - this was absolutely delicious! Probably the best I've had. It's sweet but not too much and has a good coffee kick. Absolutely love this place! Family owned and operated and you can really feel how much love they put into this coffee shop bakery. My favorites are a tie between the cardamom cinnamon latte and the mocha cayenne latte, super fun having a spicy latte option in the triad. I was already excited that an independent coffee shop was going up near my sons preschool commute but they have far exceeded what I had expected. They also sell items from artists in the community. From bags to hand made cups and decor. I love this place and you'll see me stopping in multiple times a week. They are so sweet and always remember I prefer oat milk! I just stopped by this beautiful coffee café for a four-shot flat white. Done correctly, this is one of my favorite coffee drinks. I was greeted warmly by the owners and the staff and was absolutely overjoyed to taste their espresso drink. This was rich, creamy, smooth, deeply flavorful, and not one bit harsh. I do not consider myself a coffee gourmet, but I do consider myself a coffee nut. I buy coffee beans from around the world and honestly have become very picky about where I buy my coffee and from whom. I am looking forward to visiting this coffee shop and becoming a regular! I feel very lucky to find such a perfect coffee shop located within driving distance of my home in Davie County! I strongly encourage anyone who loves coffee to try them out. I'm looking forward to returning when I have a bit more time so I can enjoy their outside seating, with café tables, umbrellas, and flowering plants. My compliments to the owners! read more

It's my most favorite coffee spot.I watched the location (and Facebook page) grow with info and was immediately intrigued due to the location, it's woman owned, AND their mission of giving back to the community through their shop. The first week they opened (during the heat of the pandemic), I met a friend there for coffee without realizing there was no indoor seating at that time. Without hesitation, they popped out their camping chairs from the back and put them out front for our coffee date! They've truly evolved into friends throughout this past year. Their coffees are so delicious, there's a wide variety on their menu, and they sell local products as well. They hose events and have live music on their patio lots of Saturdays. I was surprisingly pleased by the coffee here. I got a mocha with oat milk, and it was not too sweet and not too strong. The baristas were very friendly and the environment is welcoming. However, the decorations (and Christmas trees in February) were a little over the top. Maybe try and simplify it to make it more homey and shwae:) read more

You can sign up for rewards and they will take reusable cups and make your coffee and that to help prevent single waste plastic and you get 10 cents off your drink.
