Here on Coronado for a Neonatology conference and felt like getting a mani/pedi before the weekend started. Looked up nail salons on yelp and this is the first one that popped up. I am so happy we came here. We did a mother/daughter mani/pedi. Has a nice calming ambiance, with 1950's jazz music (LOVE). We were offered a mimosa and a heated neck pillow and that was wonderful. Nail technicians did an excellent job! Very friendly, welcoming and conversational. I'll be back in Coronado in June and will definitely be coming back! Very cute little boutique! read more

I love this place! It is so cute, fun, and CLEAN!!! I love how there are no fumes and the salon has big windows. It has adorable antique sofas and crystal chandeliers. The service is always top notch, but the prices are totally reasonable. I also really like how they use copper bowls instead of massage chairs with water jets. I know the water jets in the massage chairs are basically impossible to clean. But bowls are really easy to clean so I made the switch (the massage isn't worth the risk). Ashly and Andrea are amazing (all of the ladies are great actually). And I look forward to the neck pillows and mimosas every time. Definitely my regular place. read more

Had my first experience here today and will never go any where else! The staff is polite, warm and approachable! Mae (spelling) didn't rush through my mani-pedi which was nice as she subsequently didn't cut my skin where she shouldn't have which is a first me! First off Jenny, my nail guru was awesome. Very sweet, and gave me a nice basic pedi. I was a little off put by the set-up. I guess I am too used to the rows of massage chairs with stations. Here you receive your pedi on a couch. It's not super comfy the way it's set up. The decor is very cute, it definitely has an old school vibe with flair. All in all, it's not the relaxing pedicure destination that I would go back to. The service is great, the area is incredible but it's not what I expected. read more

I have been going to Be Polished for almost 2 years and have enjoyed being pampered at every apointment. Their T.A.R.T. pedicure is the best! I love this place! I was a little intimidated going for the first time. I am use to lines of women sitting in large chairs. Be Polished is intimate and elegant. I was greeted by Lynne who made me feel welcome immediately. I had a complementary mimosa and a relaxing warm neck pillow; followed by a wonderful pedicure with Michelle with the best leg/foot massage ever!! Love the lavender lotion! Michelle knew how I wanted my nails shaped with very little explanation and helped me pick the perfect color. I had such a wonderful experience I returned for a manicure that week. I rarely get a mani because I work in the garden and paint without gloves. This time I had May; who shaped, cleaned up my cuticles, and buffed my nails. They look so professional. Was pampered by all the women at Be Polished! It's a beautiful little shop and all of the employees were incredibly charming! This is such a unique boutique experience, the staff is very attentive and takes their time to make sure you're more than satisfied with the fInished product. The owners are so very sweet and genuinely care about your business. I've never had any type of infection or gotten cut while getting my nails done here where as other nail salons have this issue. Everything is very sanitary and clean. The polish selection is always growing and the variety including gels and dips. The prices are very reasonable compared to somewhere that you are looked at as just another dollar, I always leave a good tip for my nail technician because every single one has always been the light of my day! Even with walk in appointments they have a lot of flexibility. Can't wait to get my nails done again and again. read more

Upon entering this salon, the charming retro decor and music sets the tone (pun intended) for what's to come--- a soothing experience. Ashley was my manicurist at my first visit here yesterday. Aside from being warm and good humored, she was thoughtful and conscientious about my nail predicament and offered smart suggestions, accordingly. She even went so far as to say that if her idea did not work, that she would redo the service in an alternate fashion---and on her dime. Now THAT, is great customer service! Also, Jessica, the young receptionist, was so adorable and sweet, and offered me a warm neck pillow as well as a beverage of my choice. Absolutely amazing! My nail tech was so sweet and we chatted through my whole appointment! She made me feel very at home and welcomed! I was offered something to drink and whenever my mimosa would get low or hot pillow on my neck was not hot anymore someone would come up and offer me to more to drink or to reheat my pillow! Went here two weeks ago and my color changing gel nails still look fabulous!! Great atmosphere. Very friendly receptionist named Jessica, she helped me and the girls I came with pick out our colors and she even grabbed a bowl of water to show me what color each of the polishes would change to so that I could pick out one I truly liked! This is not your average nail shop, they do not do acrylics and that makes it not so harsh on your nose while you enjoy getting your nails done. Once we started getting our nails done they offered us complimentary mimosas, tea and apple cider for my little sister. They also put a warm neck pillow on while getting your nails done. This nail shop just goes above and beyond anything you've ever experienced at any other nail shop! I recommended them any time I'm asked of a great nail shop to go to!! Not to mention all the nail technicians were so nice and friendly, we even met the owner Mary while there and she made sure we were completely satisfied with our service!! read more

This place is really cute and the staff is really sweet. However, I was there for about 2 hours for a shellac manicure and while a lot of time was spent, the polish is chipping off after only four days. I have had shellac last for over three weeks before so I am pretty disappointed. read more

I was staying at Hotel Del and having no luck booking a sporadic Pedicure for my daughter and I. Surprisingly, I could not find a salon open on a Sunday outside of the Hotel. Luckily, I was directed to this lovely place. The pedicure was a complete treat. The owners and nail tech were the nicest people and treated my daughter and I like royalty. The vibe is perfect - relaxing music, amazing decor and a perfect pedicure. The price was great and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Diva Pedicure with bubbly Apple Cider! I absolutely adore Be Polished! I have been in twice now for the Minx toes, and most recently the new Glitter Gellish pedicure. It is the most wonderful experience ever! I was assisted by Mary who had great customer service and communication! Savannah did my nails and I absolutely love them! The salon was so incredibly comfortable, the warm neck wraps were continually replaced the entire time I was there. Ashly gave me a beautiful manicure. Everyone in the salon was so nice and friendly.
