I was very interested in a Volvo. I think they are very well-built machines, and I would have loved to be a part of the Volvo community, either currently or in the future. The utter disrespect I received from an employee of this dealership has completely turned me off of Volvo for the rest of my life. To be so blatantly disrespected by a staff member, speaking to me from a company phone, was more than enough to make sure I NEVER consider buying from this dealer.

    My new Mustang!

I cant thank the team at Beach Ford enough for the amazing job they did in getting me in my new car. Tim, Cliff, AZ and Jim all went out of their way to ensure I got what I wanted and kept me informed each step of the way. Buying my new 2019 Ford Mustang Premium at this location was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever had in my life. And not two weeks later this amazing group helped me get my son into his Mustang ROUSH. Attentive, knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating are just some of the words to describe this location. They even went out of their way to hand deliver me something I ordered. (Unheard is in most cases). The car buying process can be painful. It's a whole lot of sit around and wait. Beach Ford ensured that was not the case for me and handled everything remotely, with me only having to spend time signing and driving. I definitely refer this location for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Top notch!

    The 2019 Mazda I purchased January 2019.

January 2019 I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX 5 from Beach Mazda a part of this group. This was the 3rd Mazda I had purchased from them (including a used Ford Ranger). Up until September of this year (2022), I had never had a problem with their vehicles or their service department. I realize that using the dealership is a little more expensive for servicing your vehicle and I accept that. During my last service the Service Representative told me I needed back brakes and during my next service they would cost me an additional $200 on top of my normal service fee. I had no problems with that. When I called in September to have my service done and the back brakes replaced I was told by a new service representative that it would be $250 for the back brakes and I would have to have the rotors replaced also, regardless of whether they needed it or not. I was also having a problem with my lift gate not raising automatically. Which they told me would cost me $170 for a diagnostic to see what was wrong. I read the book on the car that if the battery was bad the lift gate would not work at all, so I replaced the battery, which made everything operational. I then called them back to cancel the diagnostic and they told me even though I had replaced the battery and everything was working properly I would still have to have the diagnostic done for $170. This is on top of the increased cost for my back brakes and rotors; which I would have to have replaced whether I needed to or not. We are now talking approximately $520 plus the cost of the service, bringing the cost over $600. They only told me about the rotors on the 2nd call when I tried to cancel the diagnostic to determine why my lift gate was not working. They also said it was mandatory that I get a diagnostic even though I had personally resolved the problem by replacing the battery. That was an unnecessary cost of $170 for something I fixed myself. Next how can you tell a car owner they need rotors without inspecting them for wear or grooving. (Which after the above, why would I trust them to inspect them?) So, now I am looking at $250 for back brakes, $170 for a diagnostic (which I don't need). Then approximately another $90 - $100 for rotors. Service will also be approximately another $100. This is approximately $620 before taxes and service fees. I took my car to another service company and saved approximately $200, which included the inspections and vehicle service. I stopped by the service department at Mazda today to ask them to repair my transmission which is now slipping and I have the extended warranty package which I purchased when I purchased the vehicle. They said that I would have to have a diagnostic for $170 done to see if the extended warranty company would cover the diagnostic or any parts the vehicle might need. I purchased the extended warranty in good faith, thinking they would honor it just as if it were the 30,000 mile or 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, the extended warranty is suppose to cover 60,000 miles or 6 years, whichever came first. My vehicle is at approximately 54,000 miles right now. I spoke with the Service Manager and he could not tell me what my warranty covered and said it would be up to the warranty company to determine whether they would cover the diagnostic cost of $170 and any parts I may need to fix the Transmission. My question is why doesn't a Service Manager know what a warranty covers on his vehicles? From my perspective the Service Department at this dealership is just trying to screw me out of money and has no clue as to what is or isn't covered by the warranty they sold me. I refuse to pay additional money for something I purchased in good faith, i.e. my extended warranty. So, to all you potential car buyers I would find a different dealership unless you want to get jipped out of your money and quality service. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership and I suggest you don't either. They do not care about the customer just their profit margin. As a former loyal customer you would think they would cover the diagnostic costs, but they won't. Ivan Sweatt

Of course, they didn't find where the sound was coming from, but they did find that the vehicle had a leaking radiator. So that was fixed but they also found that the weld between the radiator and the bumper was cracked. They do not have a welded, so they rather replace parts. Which I think is ridiculous! After that being said. After those 2 weeks I had to take the vehicle was back in the shop for another sound on the left side. Which they found and took care of it. It was a small piece of wood stuck in the brake. I left the vehicle there again for another week so they can try to find the same sound that I was previously hearing. They finally found the sound!! The hydraulics shocks needed to be replaced. I would NOT recommend this dealership to purchase a used vehicle from. They do not inspect the vehicles thoroughly before reselling them. That'll be a separate review for that dealership, but I digress. I took it to Hyundai since the car was a Hyundai Veloster, thinking they would have the expertise to fix their own brand of car. They charge me $3k to fix the clutch. My boyfriend picks it up, drives it 13 miles to work and back twice, and the clutch fails again. The dealership takes absolutely no accountability for the failure and blames my boyfriend for "driving it badly." Bro. My boyfriend has been driving manual for approx 20 years, and even a 13-year-old practicing driving on mommy's car wouldn't have resulted in that severe of a clutch failure after four short drives (which the service manager Jason shamelessly lied about and said there were 200 miles put on it since the repair. Not true. I know where that car was being driven and how long it was driven for. Pure gaslighting tactic.) I consistently tried to reason with Jason explaining that I recognized everything regarding the reality of the situation, and he was consistently condescending in his lies. Jason... I still know my boyfriend didn't destroy this clutch. Your employees inadvertently admitted that they encounter very limited instances of fixing manual cars, and that was evident by how mine was repaired. But it was the manipulation and refusal to take responsibility for me. I begged them to examine it for free to make sure they installed the new clutch properly. They refused for two weeks straight. I had to have it towed away back to my home to do God knows what with it after paying this dealership $3k to fix it, have it fail again almost immediately, and have them not even be willing to investigate the POSSIBILITY that they f*cked something up. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Do not buy a car from here, do not take your car here to get it fixed. They're scumbag liars.
