Wow! Just a great lunch at Beach BBQ Today. First off, April was awesome! She helped explaining the menu, showing the sides, sampling the different sauces that they have available. Now about the food, We had the 3 meat platter w 2 sides. Best Brisket I've ever had. Tender, juicy, great bark and seasoned perfectly! Ribs were tender and had great flavor, the pulled pork was tender and juicy with a great flavor from the special seasoning dust that April sprinkled on. Mac n cheese was very good and the Greens were tender and had a little Hot Sauce kick. We will be back again and maybe try the chicken and smoked turkey! read more

Listen. This place is so good this is my first review in 30 years on this earth cause it finally gave me motivation enough to tell everyone else about it. The food was so good, we got brisket nachos and brisket sandwiches and we ate so fast I couldn't even take a picture. The only picture I got was this amazing art in the bathroom which tells you everything about the vibe of the people and place. Just do yourself a favor and go here. Not the worst food ever but probably would not come back. Man taking orders was very friendly, good service but the food was lackluster... Brisket was chewy and not seasoned well. Baked beans were awful, worst I've ever had. The saving grace were the spicy sausage and green beans, both were quite good. And the entire back "yard" of the restaurant was smoker after smoker. So glad I stopped! If you like burnt ends...come early because it seems like these are the first to go. I had the brisket. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice thick pieces of melt in your mouth brisket. I think it may have been the best I have ever had. Side of collard greens that were so flavorful! Place is clean and nice. They could probably up their game on more outgoing counter help. She didn't like answering questions. The guy however was upbeat and may have been management or owner. Ordered the Giant Beach for the family with pork belly, collard greens, Mac n cheese, and baked potato salad. Firstly I wish that rolls were given as that pulled pork would go great in sandwiches but we had some rolls in the freezer that we used. Second, the sauces were tasty but runny, you needed to drown your food with sauces for the desired effect but that is personal preference. The sides: Mac n cheese was good. Sauce was lacking and didn't stick to the noodles but taking the container and flipping it upside down will fix that. Noodles were great. Collard greens were delicious. The greens were cut smaller than I would like but the flavor was there. Baked potato salad was good. I wish that I would have tried the other one just to see which one was better. Pork belly was a great mix of fatty and meaty. Jeez that was so good! It went quick as soon as the word got out to my family. Brisket was great. I appreciate being asked if I want fatty or lean. I went for half and half which was a great choice. Again, pulled pork was good and will continue tomorrow when we make pulled pork sliders! Will try this place again! We visited bc we saw a review that said Beach could be as good as Wright's. And it was a Monday and Wright's was closed. Well I'm definitely eating at Beach next time I'm in town, and I'll try Wright but only if there's extra time. We had brisket sandwich and 2 meat plate with brisket and hot link. Mac and cheese, collard greens and slaw for sides. Also the free pickles, white onion and pickled red onion. It's been four days and il still thinking about it lol. My husband (considers himself a) bbq connoisseur and he said the brisket was really well smoked and had great flavor. And he loved the hot link too. The sausage is made from the brisket pieces left from chopping brisket. It wasn't my favorite but I'm not a sausage fan in general. The collard greens were good texture and had a lot of vinegar. The slaw was shredded cabbage in a mayonnaise dressing. I love slaw and I liked it a lot. But the Mac and cheese? O. M. G. It was divine. Like I would drive an hour to have this Mac and cheese again. It was spiral pasta tubes and a white sauce. SO flavorful from the blend of cheeses, and sooo smooth and creamy. One of the workers stopped by the table to ask how our meal was and I think I waxed poetic about the Mac and cheese a little extra bc do you know that sweet man brought me an extra scoop of it? I brought it home and reheated it the next day and it was just as good! Oh, did I say I rarely eat bbq out bc it's so heavy and often not as good as at home? Here are a few pointers for first timers: The Brississippi is really good as a sandwich or a side, the smoked turkey is really good, brisket in general and pork ribs are excellent as well. My favorite sides are: esquite (not always available), mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese. Another hot tip: they are open 7 days a week so stop by on Sundays or Mondays! read more

Delicious!! Came here for lunch and I'm so glad our friends picked it. The 2 guys working couldn't have been nicer. We received samples of the burnt ends and pork belly. I'm a burnt end snob and they were amazing. Not super fatty but not tough either. They have so many sides! The baked potato salad was one of the best I've had. I brought the extras of it home to KS and finishing it made me sad. My husband and I split a 3 meat with burnt ends, pork belly and turkey. The turkey was very tender. They also have a list of free sides like potato bread, pickles, onions. One of the employees came up to us towards the end and asked if we wanted seconds! Like who does that?! So today was the second time I came here and they are still amazing. To find any restaurant in NWA that is consistent with their quality is a rarity and to find one that actually has flavor to satisfy a discerning palate is near impossible but they hands down do both. We got the rosemary pork belly, it was melt in your mouth and a flavor explosion. We also got the Carolina pulled pork, which if you've ever had Carolina style BBQ you know it's the best, and the brisket. For sides we had Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. Anyone who says Wrights is better BBQ than this is insane, Wrights can't even begin to compare to the quality of the smoke on these meats or to the flavor profiles Beach BBQ put together. If you are looking for a restaurant that actually gives you more than your run of the mill options you need to go here. The service was phenomenal there was no barely aware young person who says blandly "what do you want" and can't wait to get you out of the line. No they gave us samples to try so when we got our plate we knew exactly what we wanted and knew we wouldn't be disappointed. For a BBQ place it was cozy not just outside picnic tables but some actual tables inside to sit down and enjoy your meal which is much appreciated in the summer time. Pulled pork was excellent, and the serving size was huge. They do not put the sauces on at the counter, rather they are on the table. The brisket I have to admit was to die for. The serving was large, and I wanted to eat three servings. Side dishes, including macaroni, potato salad, mustard, potato salad, beans, and a couple others. Between the three of us, we had the potato salad and beans. All good stuff. Searingwas inside and out and we chose outside. Ling tables, family style, but lots of flies. Lots of traffic noise. Potato salad was excellent. Cole slaw was good. The night manager was very keen on making sure everyone in the dining room was satisfied. He brought me a sample of the Macaroni and cheese. Beach BBQ is passing off chuck roast as "Brisket Burnt Ends". Paid $32 a pound for "brisket burnt ends" that were 100% USDA chuck roast. Most people probably wouldnt notice. I got burnt ends here about 8-9 months ago and they were brisket. If you are going to cut corners sell an honest product (poor man burnt ends/chuck roast). Won't be coming back. read more

This is a different review than most. Here is why. My son-in-law had lunch at Beach BBQ and saved me some of his lunch. He knows I love BBQ, he also knows how picky I am. Well, he brought leftovers to me and I just had them for lunch. Oh My! I can honestly say, leftover their brisket is better than any I have had in NWA. That's leftover! The sausage was spicy and no grease at all. Great lightly burned skin and great flavor. They know how to smoke sausage, and... it was leftover! The last thing he brought was the collard greens, they were very flavorful and spicy. I don't know anywhere else in NWA that can serve anything close to this. I'll say it again, these were leftovers folks. Not fresh off the stove and smoker. This was hands down the best I have tasted. Man, this place is fantastic. I lived in central Texas for a few years. I used to plan my work weeks around where I wanted to eat BBQ... I've had the greatest Texas has to offer. Beach BBQ is in my top 5 BBQ list of all time. Wright's is good, but doesn't break the top 10. The owners of this place are beyond friendly. Offer samples while ordering your plate in line. We had a pretty disappointing dining experience. First off, many meats were not available. We had wanted burnt ends and ribs and both were unavailable. The meats we did choose were ok, but by no means great. Sides were super disappointing. The beans tasted as if they were directly out of a can. The pasta in the Mac and cheese was over cooked but the cheese sauce was tasty. The collard greens were good but everything that was supposed to be hot were room temp at best. Also one of us only ordered meat by the pound and clearly they guessed the weight because we did not see it being weighed. The portion was ridiculously small.
