The new owners turned the old marina into a clean welcoming space with lots of new boats. Keith our captain was knowledgeable, friendly and a very skilled sailor. Beach boat marina offers 2 hours up to a full day. we did 4 hours and time flew by! Our boat was a Sea Ray 29 I believe. Very spacious and a convenient pic nic table. Keith showed us a celebrity houses like DJ Khaled, Ricky Martins and took us to the sandbar where we chilled for a while. Prices are all included. No surprise hidden fees. They have a cooler filled with ice and water which is nice, and we brought our own booz. We'll be back. read more

First me and my girlfriend would like to say thank you for the experience we had a really amazing time. We rented the Baracuda it was a Super Sea Worthy new boat only 3 mths old. Staff was very helpful directly from the beginning by giving us directions to there lot, once there we were on the water in less then 10 minutes. Staff at dock gave very clear easy instructions on best routes and hot spots to check out . Owner meet us at the marina to fuel us up he was super cool snapped some pics of us and got us out of there super fast even gave us a FREE extra hour. Even after living in miami my whole life it's always beautiful seeing miami from that view, priceless. But let's get back to the review. OVERALL 5 STARS Owner and staff were very professional and I will definitely be renting from here again and when someone asks me where to rent boats from I'll send them right here ! read more

The owner was great he upgraded our boat at no extra price! To our surprise the system on this boat was awesome !! And our driver was great! If I could give this a ZERO star, I would. Unbelievably unprofessional, rude service. The other negative reviews are spot on. Let me just give you my conversation with the owner over the phone, and then you can decide what you think: I had reserved a boat with this company the previous night, and it seemed fine. I wanted to continue shopping around, and accidentally called the same company again, because their phone number was LISTED ON A DIFFERENT WEBSITE that the owner is apparently not even aware of. When I accidentally called this place the second time, they recognized my voice, and said "you made a reservation with me yesterday. I am not exactly sure what you are doing. Explain this to me!" (all in a very angry, aggressive tone, as if I was being scolded by my father!). He then proceeded to say that he was deleting my reservation, and hung up on me abruptly. He then proceed to text me back asking me which websites I had been on, as if I was his subordinate. As a customer, we have the right to shop around, and I was honest about that as soon as I called. I am looking for the most competitive prices, thats all. I honestly consider myself lucky this conversation happened ahead of time over the phone, because I think if we had actually rented from this place, the staff would have made it a boating nightmare. read more

Beware of older and beat up boats. That is what they have. Beware of fuel pricing. "plus fuel" does not mean Plus Fuel, it means Plus Fuel Surcharge, which for 4 hours is $99. This is not explained upfront. Guy is nice guy. Boats are mechanically sound, just worn and dirty. I would pay more for more next time. read more

We had so much fun with their Barracuda boat! We rented the boat for two hours and didn't get a chance to visit all the places on the map but that's because we chose to go tubing instead. We had the best experience with Beach Boat Rental! Anthony was accommodating from the very first phone call I made to reserve our boat during busy Labor Day Weekend. When we arrived, Spencer from BBR was equally knowledgeable and welcoming. He gave us a thorough tutorial, explained how to navigate around the beach, and gave us tips on different sites to see. At the end of the day, we were charged exactly what we were quoted initially--which is basically unheard of with many boat rentals! The icing on the cake was our beautiful and brand new 19 foot Barracuda motor boat. I HIGHLY recommend Beach Boat Rental and will be sure to rent again the next time I visit Miami! What a great way to spend an afternoon, or maybe an entire day. Great location with easy access from I95, just minutes from downtown. I would recommend a tow hour minimum rental, so you have time to feel it out and get on the open water, anything less is just not enough time. Equipment is clean and modern, in addition to staff was amazing. Reservations via email were easy and detailed. Prices are very competitive. Was able to take some great pictures of marine life, star island and cruise ships. Absolutely the best way to see Miami is by water, can't wait to go back again. Being an out of town guest they made it easy for me to make all arrangements and not have any worries. All calls and questions were promptly answered. Best boat to charter with the best captain. We have chartered with Beach Boat Rental on a monthly basis over the past 3 years, and we are returning clients each time. I highly recommend chartering his modern and newest boat, the 33' De Antonio. It offers plenty of seating, plenty of lounging space, and Captain Anthony ensures a beautiful trip with the most safe journey. This boat always comes with a captain. He's got a great sound system and the boat is always super clean and ready for a fun day on the water. We love doing sunset or day trips and getting dropped off at fun waterfront restaurants. The boat comfortably fits 12 guests with plenty of spare room. Also, I love that this boat has teak decking which gives it a very polished style and look. You will love the contemporary feel and vibe. This is the best value in Miami for a memorable time with family and friends on the water. Not sure about the negative reviews, perhaps they just like to complain. We have chartered this at least 30 times over the past 3 years, and many of our friends have chartered it as well. We like to communicate with the company via text. If your on the fence if you should charter a boat...Its a must in Miami! Poor experience even if the owner seem to be a nice guy. Extremely dirty, old and damaged boats. Engine stops while making a curve. Such boats could not pass EU control. Definitely overpriced with what it is and be sure to define well the price before starting. no copy of your contract is delivered. (very home made concept). This guys don't have a certain price for hour on their boats and service the price depends on how much the owner wants to charge you also they tell you a price and after you finish the service they charge you the gas for double of the price they say at the beginning and if you try to get a reason why you are been charged that much ? you better have a lot of patience because this guys will give you the best example and explanation on why it is important to have a good education I don't recommend this service and business to anyone trust me I been able to experience other services on rental boats all around Miami and this one was the worst read more

WHAT A BLAST! We had some relatives in town and wanted to treat them to a boating experience on the bay and waterways. The experience was even better than any of us expected. We rented a cool red boat with a Bimini top (which was great for keeping out of the sun and rain). After a thorough briefing by the staff (guy was great...very easy to understand and helpful tips), we were on our way. The boat was as easy as pie to drive and the owner was a super nice guy too. Beware: negative experience, extremely poor service. Untrained and rude staff, place just doesn't want business. This is the story: my girlfriend and I were in Miami Beach at the end of January for marathon and thought to go kayaking on a beautiful Sunday evening. We called the place in advance to reserve the spot as it was getting late in the day (3pm). We arrived closer to 4pm and was asked to wait by the representative lady in the booth (just fine). After 10 minutes, we were told that kayaks were not ready and we needed to wait for the owner to bring them down. In the meantime, the lady said they can't store out belongings while we're in the water. Well, that's odd so we called the owner and he said they will store and representative should know that. We brought this up yet received rude confrontation and defensive stand that was just uncomfortable and uncalled for. We decided to wait for 5 minutes to have the kayaks be brought down but ended up waiting for 10 minutes while the wonder parked another boat and socialized with his friends. He knew we where waiting and could expedite the process. In the end, we left the place very disappointed after wasting 30 minutes in uncomfortable situation. I recommend avoiding this place! read more
