I was never given an accurate final unit count before injections, despite asking. After the procedure, I learned that 150 units were used. This was not disclosed beforehand and was significantly higher than my previous treatments at this practice. I am also still experiencing jaw clenching, which was the primary reason for treatment. For my lip flip, my concern was my upper lip folding in. I'm still confused why units were injected into my bottom lip. I have since requested an itemized breakdown by injection site for my personal records. When pricing is unit-based, patients should be informed of exact quantities before treatment, not with a dollar amount. I hope this helps others know what questions to ask and advocate for full transparency. Please consider that this aligns with the other 1-star reviews. Pay the deductible and afterwards everything is covered with just a copay. I did 4 treatments. In good faith I paid out of pocket due to the deductible. None of my appointments were even submitted to insurance until I noticed another service provider used my deductible. I then asked them to submit expecting to receive a big refund back at this point. They submitted, and nothing was covered. I would never ever have spent this much money if it wasn't covered by insurance. Had they submitted these claims on time I would have at least known from the beginning it wasn't covered and would have not gotten the other 3 appointments. While the amount of money lost is very disappointing and happened during a time money was tight it was also disappointing that I was the only one that cared to fix this. After two years of dealing with insurance and trying to get my money back I've given up. Not once did the business help in any way to get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth and felt scammy. If you decide to go to them NEVER pay upfront something that will be covered by insurance.

The surgeon who was observing was Todd Gerlach. I happened to wake up from the anesthesia toward the end of the procedure and I remember hearing my doctor telling Todd Gerlach to stop the liposuction because I was crying out in pain. So it's obvious that Todd Gerlach was the one doing my procedure, at least in part. Todd Gerlach, my own doctor and his surgical nursing staff who were in the operating room were all highly unethical, figuring I'd never know that Dr Gerlach was using me as a guinea pig to gain experience in liposuction procedures. All these years later, one of my legs looks OK and the other looks crepey, like they took too much fat out. It was a botched procedure and even though I went back to my doctor a few times to try and correct the issue, I am still self-conscious of how loose the skin looks on that one leg. I mostly hold my doctor accountable for not being honest with me, but Todd Gerlach also had to have known I wouldn't have agreed to let someone I never even saw before operate on me. There should at least have been a consent form if his involvement had been known to me. Shortly afterwards I found out that my doctor was retiring and Todd Gerlach was the one who bought my doctor's practice.
