Now with that said let me begin with the staff, I actually went to the Long Beach location for all my appointments, his staff there was amazing and made feel so welcoming and helped with each and every step of the process so shout out to Jolieen, the girls in the front and Keri-Ann (Dietitian). I am glad to say I am almost 100lbs down after the surgery. They gave me great advice before and after the surgery on how to maintain my progress which has become second nature now. Their practice was phenomenal no complains. On my first appointment Dr.Niam explained to me my options what he believed would work with my life style and went through what each procedure looks like during surgery. After surgery he came to check up on made sure I was okay and I was out the next day and each day has been better than the next so if he is reading this I just want to say Thank You! I just want to add if your looking at this review searching for a doctor I highly recommend this man, I can even admit I have a little bit of loose skin happening so I will be returning to him for a tube up on that little issue! I thought if I could find a suitable alternative to burdening my friends and family, I should take it. I know there are facilities that you can go to, but I wanted to be able to be in my own home, in my own bed, in the surroundings I was familiar with. I think this really helps settle your mind when your body is working so hard to heal. My doctor's office highly recommended Era Health and Wellness because I was hoping to find a private nurse to come help me in my home. Kitura, the coordinator, immediately contacted me and made arrangements for one of their expert nurses to assist me as well as arranged for all my transportation needs to and from my doctor visits. Kamerina was my nurse. She made sure all my routine was followed as prescribed by my doctor. She did everything you can expect from a nurse at the hospital without the need to wait for immediate attention when you're in pain. This was extremely comforting. She went out of her way to make sure I was not in any stress and even went on errands to pick up prescriptions and meals. Kitura, also even prepared one of my meals, having been trained at a culinary school. This was a special treat for sure. Having put the worst part of my recovery behind me now, I cannot imagine doing it without the help of Kamerina and Kitura. They were incredible! If I even have the need for private care, I will definitely hire them again.

Kitura was so helpful and easy to deal with. There was many moving parts to the surgery and she was there with me every step of the way making sure that everything was covered. She also helped me figure out what items I would need to make my recovery easy which was great. As far as the nurses, I had two, Judith and Ambar. Both women were extremely kind and caring. They took such great care of me and instructed my husband on how to care for me so he knew what to expect when I got home. As a PA-C ( Physicians Assistant ), I know what to look for in physicians & their practices and, I found nothing in this visit that quantifies these negative reviews form individuals in San Francisco CA who know they signed a consent prior to treatment, which also included billing and follow up visits. He is competent, credentialed and, I researched his profile via the Medical Board prior to visiting him today. Board Certified, American Board of Dermatology Fellow, American Academy of Dermatology Fellow, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery He has NO negative complaints registered as valid; although they are posted, none of them held up under investigation and were dismissed. And, he has a stellar record with the board and his colleagues.
