Don't let the discounted units get you. I'm sharing this to help others understand my experience with transparency and informed consent. During my appointment, I asked multiple times for the exact number of units being administered and clearly stated limits for each area. I was never given an accurate final unit count before injections, despite asking. After the procedure, I learned that 150 units were used. This was not disclosed beforehand and was significantly higher than my previous treatments at this practice. I am also still experiencing jaw clenching, which was the primary reason for treatment. For my lip flip, my concern was my upper lip folding in. I'm still confused why units were injected into my bottom lip. I have since requested an itemized breakdown by injection site for my personal records. When pricing is unit-based, patients should be informed of exact quantities before treatment, not with a dollar amount. I hope this helps others know what questions to ask and advocate for full transparency. Please consider that this aligns with the other 1-star reviews. I just want to warn everybody and anybody that is considering visiting any of Dr barbarino's locations.. I went in looking refreshed with very high brows because I have them naturally, non-hooded eyes, and looking definitely 10 years younger than I truly am.. within days I looked 10 years older, my eyes were completely hooded, I looked sad and heavy... I specifically told her what I did want and what I didn't want because it is my 50th birthday in a few weeks and I wanted my photos to look fabulous.. she ignored every single thing I said and did the opposite.. and when I reached out to her and to Dr barbarino and their Instagram I was gaslighted, made to feel like it was my fault, dismissed, and no proactive measures, treatments or suggestions were offered except for blaming me that I wasn't happy with what they did.. the woman who did my injections her name is Dorna and she is a gas lighter times 10.. failure to admit her mistakes, resulted in me reaching out to Dr barbarino Who resides in Florida from what I know, and she just so happened to be in town and wanted to see me in person.. I went to the appointment.. was offered a couple of free injections, which is the bare minimum they could do to try to fix their humongous mistake.. I was prescribed some eye drops that never worked because honestly what eye drops can combat neurotoxins.. none.. I had a follow-up appointment booked with Dr barbarino and I was advised that my request for a slight discount on some lip filler would be a possible apology to this disastrous situation that they put me into.. my request was followed up by dorna reaching out to me and saying that she was not able to proceed forward with my request due to not being able to provide results that would be satisfactory or wanted.. so basically her negligence was sent to me in a text, written out for all the world to see that she cannot do what she is supposedly trained to do.. if you value what your face looks like and you want it to remain looking fabulous, please do not trust these people because they are scammers.. Dorna also had a special to get new clients in because they are not busy, and it was $3 a unit for dysport, mind you when I talked to the receptionist and asked her if there was any difference between the two neurotoxins, she said no, nothing is different.. and then when I drove an hour away and got to the facility I was then informed that dysport is the three to one... meaning you need three units of dysport to equal one unit of botox.. so they got me into the facility scam advertisement and then proceeded to destroy my face and take no accountability for either of those things.. also the day that I left the facility I had a giant marble size lump at my 11's which I have never experienced with any other injector, it would not resolve itself for a couple weeks and was excruciatingly painful to the touch.. I don't know what she did, but she did something.. and again gaslighted and told that I was basically imagining things if I could give this business less than one star I would but unfortunately that's the lowest that Yelp allows.. please do not ever trust this business with your face because they will harm you and then they will make you feel like it's your fault for speaking up for yourself... Additionally if you go to Dorna's 2 social media Pages you will see that there are Maybe two or three comments left by clients who had procedures, the rest of the likes and comments have come from the staff of this business so they are not true reviews.. and also, if you go and look at Dr barbarino's social media page you'll see the same things that I did.. I just figured it was bad photo filtering, I did not realize that face-to-face that she had a mannequin like appearance and clearly has some dysmorphia issues going on.. I'm not making a statement about how she looks other than it pertains to possibly her medical advice and her decision making.. the discounts that they are offering through this business to gain clients due to lack of activity, or just not worth the long-term results.. I have several months in front of me still before my face is possibly back to normal.. please don't do this to yourself I deeply regret ever giving these people my trust and business read more

If you get a quote, make sure it's in writing, because they will not honor verbal quotes. I was planning on doing a procedure, "Haley", the office manager quoted me $600 over the phone then when I went in to talk to the Dr, about the risks she said that's the "friends and family" given to me accidentally, but she would still honor it since that was what I was told over the phone. Scheduled the procedure weeks later and as I was sitting in the chair getting numb I made sure it was $600. Haley swore she would never say that and there was nothing written down and that was definitely the wrong price. Wait what? How would I know the price of their friends and family if I was never quoted it???!!! The real price is $800 but they would meet me halfway at $700. Honestly, I didn't want to deal with this place anymore. The whole price discussion just made me feel like a cheap unwelcomed patient. Hope your experience is better than mine. Best decision I ever made was going to see Drs. Barbarino and Wu. Their kind, caring and supportive approach to their work is fantastic. I especially appreciate their no pressure approach. Clean, chic, and professional. Most importantly, GREAT WORK. That's the bottom line, right? That's why we go. I was nervous before my procedures about the medical aspects of it and about how I would look afterwards, but 10 months out, I could not be more pleased with the results. The follow-up care was fantastic, and it was actually even fun to come to those appointments (and, by thte way, I never had to wait, which shows that Drs. Barbarino and Wu are respectful of their patients and our time, just as any professional should be). Dr. Barbarino was very patient with me through my anxieties while I was healing and managed to make me laugh a lot, too. It pains me to deduct a star; I wish I could deduct only half of a star, or none at all, because really, everyone there is so great. But I have to be honest to the Yelp community as you have all been so helpful to me, so here goes: The only negative thing I have to note is that my recovery was much longer and more difficult than I had been led to believe (but I must add here: no pain, only some discomfort). Thankfully I had enough sick time saved up at work to cover most of that, and my boss was flexible in allowing me to extend, then RE-extended my time off, but it did make for an awkward situation when I had to keep extending my sick time. If someone did not have enough sick time saved up to cover all of that, as was my situation, that ends up being an additional cost, and one could have problems at work if their boss is not cool.
