The owners appear to be conservative news viewers and have setup the TVs to cast only Fox and Newsmax for news programs. As a paying customer, I requested that another news station be setup (they did have MSNOW but turned it to MSNBC then changed it to Fox). It is difficult to avoid seeing the programs during a half hour workout. The staff said they were unable to change it and when I asked a second time, the woman just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I asked in FB messenger and got no response. I do not think it is fair to impose political opinions on customers. I will not renew membership.

The "employees" for the most part are retirees who were coincidentally members of the gym prior to their employment there. It's a welcoming, fun, friendly atmosphere to get fit in. The ladies that posted these hurtful, negative reviews apparently have expectations from somewhere else. Kimberly, the staffed hours are on the door. Do you regularly go to a business that has their posted hours 8am-7pm at 9pm or 6am? Energy Gym is accessible for use by members 24/7/365. I suppose you expect them to pay someone to staff it at 3am in the hope someone wants to join a gym at that ungodly hour. Margaret, really, you went during posted staffed hours and no one was working. I call BS. You both sound quite like entitled whiners that should just stay where you came from. I went in to Energy Gym for my usual 7:30am workout. Saw many of the usuals but the number of people working out was double because of the number of visitors there! So Kimberly, you drove 30-45 minutes to either West OC or Millsboro. And Margaret, honestly what local gym, if any, did you join that has the classes, equipment, terrific staff and friendly members Energy Gym has? Your loss ladies.

They have EVERYTHING you need to get a great workout. Everything is clean, and in working order. No spider webs in the corner or dingy bathrooms; Everything is amazingly clean! Everything. Liz could have never made the process of joining smoother. Entering a place you have never been is always a mixture of anxiety/intimidation, and here it simply ISN'T. The programming is smart, and makes sense. The coaching is fantastic, you are NEVER alone. OG coaches are amazing, but the newer ones...also amazing! I do not need someone to cheer me on, here they actually coach you...help you. They've had bigtime growth since I joined, but it never feels that way. The attention you get from the coaches here, is SO important to me. I have been around this world for a long time and I feel like I am learning and getting better daily here. People have this opinion of CrossFit where they perceive it as "too hard" or "too much" sometimes, and all I have to say is PLEASE EFFING CHECK IT OUT AT WHITEWATER. All the coaches here are AWESOME! (really....seriously) for me a huge part is the PEOPLE! places like this can be cu*ty and cliquey and here they are simply, warm, nice and supportive...a community of amazing, down-to-earth people. I can't think of anything that I want that is not there. Pat and Liz own this place and work ABSURD hours to make all of this happen, and they are NEVER anything but warm and welcoming...and that's awesome....... but I came here to go faster, stronger and leaner...BETTER and I do! Forget ANYTHING you think you may know about CrossFit and/or gyms and the "reasons" you can't go and just call them.

I have also been a member at both major local gyms and I wasn't getting the motivation or results I needed. I am very happy I decided to give FBBC a try. The trainers and owner are all awesome, friendly, extremely knowledgable, empowering, and great role models. I feel like my body is being challenged with every workout, it never gets boring because everyday is different, I have the flexible schedule of classes a busy mom needs, I am motivated to come in everyday, I am not being judged by other gym members, I am getting in 30 minutes what I got at the regular gym in 1 hour, and I am feeling good about myself. I joined for the 21 day challenge, but I liked it so much that I decided to get a regular membership. The price is much less than other workout programs like this, the schedule is much better for times of classes than the local gyms, I can workout before my kids are awake in the am so I do not need to dress my kids for daycare and haul them with me, it only takes 30 minutes to burn between 350-450 calories (Monitored via FitBit), the trainers remember me and my name, everyone talks to each other and is friendly, there are no mirrors and you do not feel intimidated by the atmosphere or other members, and the atmosphere really is very welcoming and comfortable for women of all ages. A few men come here too, but the environment is different than other places and it feels non-judgmental, non-masculine, non-body builder/Bro-tein shake hangout, civilian friendly, and safe. If someone is grunting next to you during their workout, it is because they are getting their butt kicked in the workout not because they are getting their swell on in the mirror while admiring themself. I have a healing workplace injury, the trainers here work with me each class to modify and meet my needs. I feel that next to physical therapy, this is the best thing I have done for my body since being injured a year ago. The women in my classes range from young adult to older woman, so everyone can enjoy FBBC. They measure me, my weight, take my pictures, my BMI, and total body fat at regular intervals plus they give me access to Fit Client to track my progress. You sign up for classes and do everything on your computer, so no need to go in to change a payment method. The owner is setting up with the owner of another FBBC in Florida, for me to go to that gym while traveling. This is a really great option in SOMD that I highly recommend!

I used to hate exercising and the regular gyms were not motivating me nor pushing me to do more than I thought I was capable of. I ended up paying for months and never going. Sounds familiar? In one last ditch effort to get healthy and fit, I stepped into this place ( 3-day free trial). Its only a 30 min class of High Intensity Interval Training and I was hooked from the first day. What an incredible anti-depressant! Amazing coaches won't let you down, constantly vigilant that your form is correct so that you don't injure yourself. They walk around encouraging you to do one more or realize that the dumbell you are using is too light and at the same time understanding the modifications you need if you have any joint issues. I have bad knees. No twisting here. And they are always aware of what I need. A personal trainer in a group setting. I could never afford a daily coach at a regular gym but here I can have me trainer for around $6/day. Can't beat that!! Come in and try it. You have nothing to lose but fat! UPDATE: 8 months later- I am still here! Major record. So far let me give you one of the many results I have gotten from coming here. Over the weekend I hiked 6 miles and climbed 3 1/2. I mean really climb up and over rocks and boulders. Slide down some and leap from one to another. It was a steep incline all the way up to Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah National Park over 3000ft at the summit. I could have never done this had it not been for Fit Body Boot Camp and the coaches who helped me along. 9 months ago I could barely walk 1/2 mile without my back and feet hurting. And then I'd quit and plop on my couch. This place is the best decision I ever made for my health and ongoing fitness!
