Ordered drinks and looked over the menu. Decided to share the Calamari frites. Waitress asked is we wanted a bread basket... why not? Ordered our entrees. Mine being the chicken parm. Waitress suggested adding an order of meatballs, so I did. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala. The calamari was excellent. Not over cooked or rubbery. Very tender. Yum! Ordered another round of drinks and waited. Finally the entrees appear along with the bread basket. Too much at onetime! Why not bring the bread basket earlier? The focaccia bread was good, but at that point, I was really concentrating on my entree. My wife loved the Marsala. My chicken parm was good, and so were the meatballs. The spaghetti was over cooked, but the sauce was tasty. My wife asked for additional napkins from the waitress. We were almost done eating when the waitress walked by, asked again for more napkins. Nothing! Waived the waitress down again and gestured to her about the napkins... she brought over the check and the card reader instead. My wife and I looked at each other confused. I guess we're not going to look over the dessert menu. Overall, the food and ambiance were excellent, but the service was a little suspect.

Rizzos is worth the hype!…read more Drove from Buffalo and sat at the bar. Bartenders and servers were incredibly kind and attentive. They let us sample a few wines before deciding on a bottle, which was a local Niagara wine and delicious! Started with the focaccia, Caesar, and mozz sticks by popular demand. Incredible! Somehow the mozz sticks are perfectly melted inside and not like that string cheese you brought for lunch, definitely a much try. The Caesar was MASSIVE and arguably one of the best I've ever had. We brought more than half home. For entrees we had the chicken piccata, gnocchi with cream sauce, chicken parm and spaghetti. Everything was incredible, oddly enough with the exception of the chicken parm! It was served in a large bowl with sauce so it wasn't able to retain any crispiness and my husband did find it to be a bit bland. However the pastas and piccata were incredible. I think the parm would be massively improved with differently plating! We had affogato for dessert and the brownie with ice cream followed by an espresso martini which were all divine. Service was fast and efficient, which they need for such a tiny place! All in all a great first time at Rizzos, with wonderful traditional Italian flavors and incredible service to match. Would have preferred a crispier parm but portions are huge and we literally left with 6 takeout boxes! Can't wait to visit again!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was really good. Located right on the corner going down Lundy's Lane, the place looks very simple from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you realize you are in for an elegant dining experience. Started out with a orange Pellegrino which was wonderful, they brought out some bread and this amazing honey and ricotta cheese spread. Absolutely to die for but be careful. It would be easy to fill up on that and miss out on the wonders of the meal that's coming. I started the meal off with their Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect. The right amount of dressing lettuce was second to none and it was one of the most delicious Caesars I've had. I opted for the gnocchi oso buco ragu, which was absolute perfection. Be careful though, these gnocchi are no joke. The taste will keep you eating all of them and you will absolutely be ready to take a nap afterwards. Bottom line? If you are looking for fine dining in the Niagara falls area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not going to this restaurant. It's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!
