Don't have any pictures of the WONDERFUL pizza we enjoyed on the 4th of July weekend, because in spite of its HUGE size, our extra large 50/50 meats/plain cheese pizza was GONE in record time!!! Delicious, sweet-tangy sauce with just the right number of toppings to enhance, but not dominate/make tooooo sloppy your pizza eating experience. The sauce is allegedly the SECRET FAMILY RECIPE, going back quite a few generations, of my friend I was visiting in the area, and it was super flavorful. If I lived in the area, or was just passing through, I'd DEFINITELY plan on stopping here!! YUM!!! read more

We were driving to our next hotel stop after the Bulls v saints game and waited to get passed the traffic before making a fiif stop. Not many options, this place looked good so we stopped. So glad we did! I got the ziti with meatballs and vodka sauce and it was the best sauce I've ever had! Fast, friendly service and cozy atmosphere! Hubby loved the calzone as well! The service was very helpful and friendly. Thanks to other reviews I tried the ravioliand Vodka cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious! My husband devoured what I couldn't eat. He had the Tortellini which was very flavorful. The pasta was tricolor and the sauce flavorful. Our other relative had the special of the day canzone which she said was really really good. Great new spot in the village. We had heard good things about the restaurant and stopped for a quick lunch. We were not disappointed. Greeted as we entered the especially clean restaurant with happy staff. Our lunch order was simple spaghetti with house sweet red sauce and she ordered the ravioli with vodka sauce. Both came with two slices of toasted Italian bread on each plate. Side salad add on for a buck fifty each and a dollar per meat ball. I had water and she had soda. Bill was $25 with tax. They have a pretty full Italian menu. It's not like amazing never to be forgotten Italian, but worth the stop and won't bust your wallet. Driving through Silver Creek on the way home from a road trip and I pulled up Yelp to find a nearby restaurant for lunch. I'm so glad we decided to stop here. We were greeted by Amanda our server who couldn't have been sweeter! The menu has a huge selection of subs, pizza, wings, tons of Italian dishes, salads etc. I had the Creekside salad, which was massive. My husband had the stinger sub/salad combo and side of fries. We shared homemade apple pie ice cream for dessert. The portions are large and it was all so delicious. We live more than an hour away, but we can't wait to stop again! read more

Like I mentioned in my original review, I said I would change my review to 4 star if something impressed me and I'm back to update my review to a deserving 4 stars. We have ordered calzones as takeout a handful of times since our first impression of this restaurant and they come out consistently good which is something I appreciate. I don't like places that have good or bad food depending on who is working or cooking and they are NOT like this. Over the past few times I've picked up my takeout I have chatted with the staff and you feel very welcome when they all acknowledge you exiting and thank you. Recently Margie made a recommendation to try their alfredo with shrimp and I decided to try it. While their portion sizes are smaller than I am used to compared to the price, the quality was much more on par with what I'm used to. Well done. Thank you to Margie for the recommendation and for being so friendly every time I visit. :) read more

New pizza place in town, only have had the chance to try the slices . They were very good, crisp and the pepperoni were char cup which is a favorite. Not too much cheese. The order was ready right on time, the wings were outstanding and the pizza was superb as well. We went back again one week later with the same order, the pizza was even better - true Buffalo style cup-char pepperoni, a sweet sauce that's tasty and the crust is among the best I've had. read more

Wow incredibly delicious! We wanted a place to stop on our way back to Chautauqua from Buffalo Airport and found this gem on Yelp. We ordered the Sausage Sandwich, Vodka Ravioli, Caesar Salad, Meatball App, and Stuffed Hot Peppers. It was fast and hot and fantastic! Have ordered a few times and were disappointed each time. We ordered a pasta dinner never received the salad or bread and only had a hand full of noodles. The cheese on the pizza was terrible and lacking. Will keep driving to Gowanda to get our pizza. Will try 1 last time in the future but I'm not hopeful. read more

Great decor. Love the tile ceiling, canvas prints displaying Silver Creek years ago. There are booths, tables and high top cafe style tables. LOVE that they have gluten free options for pasta and pizza. I had pizza with a cauliflower crust today and it was delicious. Friendly staff. read more

This place lost my business for good and now I'll make sure everyone knows how crappy their customer service is and how they are trying to force you to pay with a credit card and then you have to pay 3% more than cash customers. Sadly I see this place going out of business with the crappy service they now give you.

The young man who delivered the order was friendly, well-prepared, and organized. The office was impressed with the colorful, fresh lunch spread. Everything was delicious, and the salads were especially top-notch. We'll definitely be ordering from here again for future office lunches!

The Italian banner running around the seating area appears to have never been washed. Caked with years of dust literally dangling from the edges. They have computer screens in the booth. ‍ They don't really work. The decor is so out dated it's ridiculous. Service, our waitress was very polite and nice. Took our orders. Dinner order was a pepperoni / mushroom calzone, and chicken parmesan with a side of onion rings. Each meal came with salad. Salads up - nothing fancy, your typical ice burg lettuce, with chick peas, giant slice of tomato and mini croutons. Onions up - truthfully very good "best part of the dinner" other than the dipping sauce. 99% sure it was thousand Island dressing mixed with something, definitely not good. Calzone up - OMG where to begin. Seriously, by far the worst calzone I think I have ever had. Undercooked pepperoni, and mushrooms, all thrown together on one side of the calzone. Other side doughy and undercooked, with zero seasoning. Soggy crust. The sauce was horrible. Chicken Parmesan up - pasta noodles, strait out of a box, with zero taste, chicken way over cooked / burnt "could have used it for a hockey puck", the sauce, simply not good. So to rap it up. I would never recommend Dejohn's to anyone. The place is run down and the food is horrible. We doggy bagged it home and fed it to our dogs. So now my last thought, oh-no ! Am I going to get in trouble for animal cruelty, for feeding them horrible food.

The dough has a great smoky flavor, and I personally appreciated that it wasn't overloaded with too much cheese. This would be a great spot to grab a bite when working downtown. It's located in the basement of Pearl Street.
