most disappointing experience. We went down on Saturday and purchased 4 chairs and umbrellas. we were also goin to purchase the same for an e rite day on Sunday. they said we needed to make a reservation because they will sell out so we did. unfortunately our son was in an accident on Saturday night and hospitalized and had to undergo surgery. every other entity was super helpful from hotels, etc giving us a refund. Want to lounge at the beach and not have to carry chairs and bring bikes, Beach Life Rentals is the place to go! My wife and I went to the beach last weekend and rented very comfortable chairs to lay on. The gentleman that helped us, River (I believe) gave us awesome chairs and helped my wife with hers. A little later we came out of the water and noticed an umbrella at our chairs. River walked up to us and said he noticed we were getting a little crispy. At first I thought that was a subtle way to get us to spend more money and then I paid on the chair under the umbrella and realized it's a SMART way to lay in the sun. We had a few employees check on us from time to time, but River gave us great places to eat or grab a beverage. We rented bikes so we could grab some lunch, and River said he'd make sure our stuff stayed safe and he did! The bikes were very nice beach cruisers and we rode a little longer than we expected. When we got back all of our stuff was right where we left it and after another dip in the water the umbrella was awesome! River even moved it for optimal shade! Like I said at the beginning of this novel (sorry, lol), Beach Life Rentals is the way to go when headed to the beach! I have to say I was floored by how eager to please Curt and his crew were- you just don't find customer service like that anymore! I'm so upset I didn't know about this company sooner! I have a preferred area to park on Jax Beach away from their set-up in front of Casa Marina. At absolutely no point did Curt ever make me feel that was a hindrance, in fact he went above & beyond to meet us, make sure we had everything we needed and for just the right duration for our beach day. I so appreciated a lock was included with a code texted directly to my cell, the guys showed up 10 minutes after my initial call & set everything up to my liking. We in walked into Beach Life Rentals in Jacksonville Beach Florida on 9-3-23 to rent 2 bikes-worst customer service. Ashton was cold and not friendly. She responded to us curtly and repeated over and over credit card and ID. She photocopied my driver's license and full credit card information. I asked her if i would get this photo copy back when we returned the bikes. She said NO. I have been in banking for 35 years and the rampant ID theft I see on a daily basis left me feeling very uneasy leaving my ID and credit card information floating around on a piece of paper. This is a disaster for ID theft and fraud. When they brought the 2 bikes to us i asked for the 2 baskets we asked for. They were out. We ended up leaving the store and not renting the bikes. It is a shame that the owner would have a front store greeter with someone as insensitive as Ashton. read more

We were unable to transport our rental surfboards to and from our Airbnb/the beach, so Curt offered to deliver them straight to the beach for us and pick them up when we were done. Hands down the best customer service we have seen in along time. Called their number and a guy named Josh answered. He was extremely professional and courteous. He asked where we were gonna park and what timeframe we would be there. David then called me as we were closer to the beach and met us to deliver the bikes. The bikes include a cable lock to lock up the bikes so you can shop or eat. After we were done riding we locked up the bikes close to where we met and David came back out and picked up our bikes. When I asked if we could get our board as early as possible, Curt went out of his way to deliver them at 8:30 in the morning, which was outside of his normal delivery schedule.
