I did everything they required, including explaining the situation and sending pictures, which they require that you do within 4 hours of receiving the items. No response for a few days, then, "your return has been resolved." Ok, but what about the courtesy of an apology for sending the wrong item? Then, a day or two later came an email with links to review the other items in my order, but not the live lobster (!). After reviewing one of these other items, I was then able to follow a link to review the lobster. I left an unhappy review, based on the poor customer service I had received. Then it gets worse! I just got a call from them saying that since they refunded the cost of the wrong lobster, I cannot leave a review for it! He said sending an underweight lobster was "human error," as if that makes it okay. It absolutely does not make it ok. He said that they basically just grab a lobster and throw it in the box if it looks about the right size (paraphrasing, here). The guy then asked if that answered all my questions, and I told him that, without a doubt, no. If this company is blocking reviews from customers who received the wrong item (dead or not), then that is very, very shady and is clearly being done to artificially inflate their star ratings. I would avoid this company at all costs because they do not care about honesty or integrity. I am a business owner and very careful when I write critical reviews, but I think this company deserves to hear the truth.
