Highly rated so we thought we'd try. Line to order is long pretty much all day as well as the wait for orders. Goes pretty fast. No worries- we're on vacation. Ordered two sandwiches, bakery items and coffees. Left for the beach- and when we went to eat- wasn't our order at all.... Called twice to let them know- but didn't answer- as their line said too busy- sorry. Fine- we came back in the morning and explained that we got a Cuban and a bagel/ cream cheese instead of our sandwich and açaí bowl with extra items- he said about $30... but bc it was the day before they couldn't do anything about it. Frustrating- esp bc I offered to pay for what we got yesterday- just give me what I ordered... but that wasn't an option. We had planned to order egg sandwiches today- so - dumb us did that... Thank goodness we checked before we left - they totally gave us the wrong order !! Okay place - not sure they can handle the business...and definitely not customer thoughtful. Adorable spot in OOB! My gf and I looove energy drinks so coming here and seeing the Beach Buzzers was such a great surprise! Cafe64 offers a small menu in a relaxed atmosphere. Inside, there is a small shop full of "Maine" styled hats, coozies, apparel, cups, etc. So if you're visiting the area, the shop is definitely one you should look around! There is a walk-up counter to order food and a few tables to sit and eat. The breakfast sandwiches and açaí bowls are our favorites. It's pretty lowkey in the winter and we always enjoy our meals! read more

Cafe 64 was super cute. They have tables to sit and half of the cafe is a gift shop. The iced chai latte was a 4 out of 5! Lemon poppy muffin was a 5 out of 5 - super moist, bits of fruit inside, not too sweet, and the icing on top is not overwhelming. Love this cafe and how close it is to the beach! They have breakfast and lunch options. Prices are very reasonable; for lunch it was under $25 for 2 adults and a child. Sometimes the line to order can get long, so ordering online is a good idea. My açaí bowl and salad were both fresh and tasty. The coffee is good but tasted a bit watered down. I ordered caramel and didn't taste the flavor too much. They also have a small selection of beer/seltzers in the cooler for purchase which is convenient. Found this place on yelp, so I decided to try it. Def not worth it. Came in august at lunchtime. Bought a 4 pack of beer, one coffee, two cookies, veggie wrap and chicken salad - total $48. Salad was tiny with very little chicken and the veggie wrap was very basic. They were out of whole milk so no iced mocha for me today. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon just after the lunch rush. We both had coffees, and my partner had one of their cinnamon buns, and I had a toasted bagel. Both were delicious! The staff were super attentive and helpful. The bathroom was clean. The sofa in the front of the Café is the perfect place to sip a cup of joe and people watch. Initially I was confused by this place because when you walk in the left side looks like your average grab and go breakfast place but the right side is a souvenir shop? But moving past that, the line to order was long and very slow moving. Granted, it was a Saturday morning. When we did finally get to the counter to order, the man who helped us was moving very slowly, but was very nice. We got a coffee and two breakfasts; we ordered a cinnamon bun but never got it (we weren't charged so I guess he didn't hear us). I got a specialty latte which as delicious and the breakfast burrito which was also delicious. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich; he said the bread was great. Sunday morning we came back and I got the cinnamon buns they are apparently known for. They definitely needed to be warmed up but once I microwaved for 15 seconds at home, they were perfect. This is my go to coffee shop in OOB. They are always so sweet and the food is SO good and fresh. Definitely the healthiest food option in the area and the baked goods are always fun and interesting. We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch. The food was delicious and the service was good too. My sister had the açaí bowl 'The Big Kahuna' and she said it was delicious. I had the chicken salad ' The Tug Boat' and it was good. And the cinnamon roll was yummy. The amount of cinnamon in the middle was a little much but it still tasted great. My friend introduced me to this place. I had the egg breakfast that comes with the cowboy caviar with no meat, extra guac. Cowboy caviar isn't salty at all. I wish they had avocado or shitake mushrooms as a protein instead of meat, possibly even extra firm tofu. They offered me an extra side of guac and ended up tossing it out because it was too much. I've never waited so long for a breakfast order in my life. 1 hour wait for a wrap, premade breakfast sandwich and 2 cold brews. Yes, it was busy but not any busier than any other grab and go breakfast place. I understand volume will increase wait times but seeing how things were run was terrible. Whoever is working the front should not be up there. She was nice but insanely slow. She could not wrap her head around this order; tried to tell me how to order my wrap and still forgot to add the premade breakfast sandwich after reiterating multiple times. Don't get me wrong, the food is great but flow and management is terrible. We love the food but never again. Go across the street if you want a faster experience. read more

Overall poor experience. Walking in the set up was slightly confusing. There were multiple counters and a lot of signs. We followed the one that said "order here." There was nobody at the counter when we arrived and weren't greeted. Eventually an employee walks up to myself and my partner, says hi to her, and asks her what she'd like to order. I'm not acknowledged in any way. My partner asked a few questions, so instead of just standing there I stepped away to browse retail items. I was called over to give her an extra dollar bill and the cashier says "paying cash will bring the cost down to $3.75." My partner gives him $6.25 and says keep the change. When we get out number and step away I comment on the generous tip and she tells me the price SHE was told was different. I walk up to the counter and again and say "excuse me how much is the caramel latte" to which the cashier gets defense and starts saying how SHE asked for extra this and extra that. I say sorry we're not arguing the price I just would like to know. He keeps arguing with me for some reason so I walk away again. At this point two girls come up and say there never got their sandwich. He then argues with them saying "YES YOU DID! If it's not here someone took it. Did you take it and forget? Do you have someone else that came inside and took it?" Meanwhile the girls and very confused and just want their food. They asked another employee which starts them all bickering, and they determine an employee on break forgot to make the sandwich, so the main guy literally runs out of the store after his coworker. My partner and I have been standing there for probably five minutes when she notices the employee behind the coffee counter leaning on the counter. She says excuse me, I ordered coffee, to which he says no you didn't. She shows him her number, and he goes to the register and says "oh yeah, I never got this." THEN makes the coffee. He was very nice about it and apologized for the wait. The experience overall was uncomfortable and it's probably more worth it grabbing a soda anywhere else on the beach. read more

Enjoyed one of the best sandwiches in a while-the Asian Chicken wrap-big and full of crispy veggies, crunchy noodles and a nicely spiced Thai peanut sauce. Picked up lunch here today. Honestly I think I would rate even higher if I came for breakfast to try all the pastries and sweets offered, they looked amazing! We ended up getting a steak bomb sandwich, and açaí bowl, a bagel and an iced latte. The food was just okay but the latte was good!! Orders muffins and asked for them to be warmed up. I received a warm reply of "absolutely!" Muffins came out as though they'd been warmed in the palm of somebody's sweaty hands. Then the coffees came out. One was hot, the other was apparently warmed in the same sweaty palm as the muffins We also ordered a sandwich and added bacon (it was on the receipt). When the sandwich was delivered without bacon we approached the cashier to correct the discrepancy. She must have thought we were just informing her of the situation with no expectation of correcting the error because she made no attempt to dismount from her perch and help. She just stood behind the counter with a stoned to look on her face. We had to approach another worker, who then questioned whether we ordered it with bacon and was only able to conclude that we were telling the truth when we provided the receipt. They quickly retrieved two pieces of bacon and slapped them on our semi-warm sandwich. Maybe it was an off day, but we were very underwhelmed and won't be returning. read more

Pretty good breakfast spot on the main drag near OOB. The bagels are good and the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot for a quick morning bite, but aren't anything much different than a traditional Dunkin sandwich...it's also a little disheartening to watch them microwave everything and call it 'cooking'. The coffee bar is surprisingly extensive, the barista can make you pretty much anything you want and there are rotating specials which were fun to try. Service was slow, be prepared to wait for at least 30+ minutes at any time; that's probably due to the small kitchen size, but you can use that time to sip your latte and peruse the curated shopping items throughout the cafe. That being said, we had no issues with the food or service overall. Happy we got to experience the cafe a few times while we were in town :) read more
