When I was stranded at work with an inoperable vehicle ,they abruptly came to my aid. Beach's auto not only took care of my vehicle throughout the process, they also were able to immediately troubleshoot my vehicle visually which fixed my problem (no gas). Though embarrassingly it may have been, it was a broken misleading gas gauge that was my issue. Not only that they were able to identify oil leakage problems I had. They immediately towed me to my last oil servicing company within their mileage limits just so my engine wouldn't lock up on the road. The diligence and care they showed reassured me that not only businesses are out to get you or take advantage. My car got stuck in my backyard. Sunk in snow & ice about 25 yards from the bottom of my driveway. This was back in late Jan 2022. My car insurance covers emergency assistance and towing. I made arrangements waited 6 hours -- but the guy never showed!! After complaining: Jay was contacted to do the job. However, when he arrived he felt it necessary to clear a path to the car so his or my vehicle wouldn't potentially get stuck further. The shoveling would not be covered by insurance. Jay called me during my night shift to explain this would cost another $100. or $150. and ask if I wanted to proceed ... yes of course! That night was dark and extremely cold. The job took a long time! When my daughter mentioned I was an ICU nurse working at UVA caring for Covid patients -- he waved the extra fee for shoveling! What was so precious to me is he and his daughter (who works with him) videotaped his message to me thanking me, and all nurses, for what we are doing for Covid, and all patients!! The video was very touching and I appreciate their warmth. Those two labored in difficult conditions and then blessed me. And got my car unstuck!! I'd give 10 stars if that was the scale. This family run business is an amazing addition to the Louisa area. Most tow companies in the area are difficult to work with/overall make harder situations even more of a pain. Not this company. This father daughter duo were called out for a jumpstart due to the cold weather recently. The car activated the anti theft deterrent system once charged, and it was unable to be reset. The owner and his daughter looked up resources and tried a few things to help us possibly reset it where is sat. Ultimately, we couldn't get it reset, but they stayed with us for quite a long time trying everything under the sun to help us out. We ended up actually booking them again to tow the car to the dealership to have it reset. Hands down I would call them for assistance if I'm ever in need again. I know tow companies are out to make money, but we only call them when we are out of options. They went above and beyond and to the average person who runs into car trouble, they are a huge blessing. They added a bit of humanity back into the trade of roadside assistance. Our car was delivered safe and they even sent a drop off picture and details on who they left the key with at the dealership. I was involved in a traffic accident on I-95, that caused my rental vehicle to be disabled. It was a very hot and humid day and I could not leave the vehicle running with the A/C on for comfort, because the radiator had been punctured and the engine overheat light was on. After Beach's Towing and Recovery was contacted, it only took them about an hour to get to me... a short time considering that it was a Friday during the afternoon rush hour. They picked up me and my son's dog and took us to Washington Dulles International Airport to exchange my rental vehicle for another. I was driving my son's belongings to Florida, so the rental van was filled with items. I was injured in the accident, but I still had to unload my son's stuff from the damaged van to the new van at the airport. The tow truck owner, Jay, helped me unload and load without me even asking. His daughter held my son's dog while we were transferring the items from van to van, which was a big help. They were really nice people who went above and beyond the requested service. Jay and Shelly were absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. My Jeep died at a gas station today, I called roadside assistance through my insurance, and they came as quickly as they could (20 mins after I put in the request). His quote on arrival was "I can definitely get this thing going again." They spent nearly an hour trying to get the battery charged and jumped from their truck. He got it running but didn't feel confident that I'd make it anywhere useful based on a few tests he ran. After we decided the battery was probably totally dead, Jay grabbed his tools, pulled the battery, and waited with my Jeep while I went to buy another battery. He popped it in and got me running again. He even waited to make sure I was good to go before leaving. I enjoyed the conversation with both he and Shelly as they troubleshot (she does some fantastic art on drink tumblers on the side). I thought my evening was ruined and they saved the day. I had a lock out with my rental car and had to be towed back to Richmond from a farm in Palmyra in early June. They came out and worked through a torrential downpour to get the car up on their flatbed. The gave them all sorts of problems (Chevy's fault, not theirs) but they were extremely careful getting it up, and letting me know what they were doing and why they had to do it that way. I especially appreciated the care they took in making sure that even when it was safely on the flatbed that it would be in good shape when we got it back to the airport. We had to go back roads instead of I-64 the whole way so the highway winds wouldn't rip off the spoiler and cause an even bigger headache and while it took quite a bit longer than going on the interstate it did get back safely. I rode with them to the airport to pick up a new rental and they were very pleasant the whole ride in and had a lot of good conversation with them. Hated to have a tow, but glad my insurance company sent them out. read more

Can't say enough good things about Beach's Towing & Recovery. We stopped at a Wawa in Fredericksburg for gas on our way from NJ to SC. Unfortunately we found ourselves in a situation where we needed a tow to the nearest Kia dealership. I called Kia roadside assistance to arrange for a towing. They assigned the job to a local company named 1st class towing. I was told that they'd be at the wawa in 30 minutes which became 90 minutes etc. Finally after 3 hours 1st class towing told Kia that they would not be able to provide their services. I called Kia back to complain. They were very apologetic and promptly contacted Beach's towing. Jay and his delightful daughter came as quickly as they could and carefully loaded my car onto the flatbed. They gave me a lift to a restaurant where my wife and kids were waiting for me and then dropped the car off at the dealership. Shortly after I received pictures of the car parked safely in the lot. We were recently traveling for a month in a rental car and experienced a flat tire on I-64 in Virginia. We were on the shoulder while cars were whizzing by fast! We contacted the rental company and they sent a tow out to change the tire. When we were called by Jay to find out our exact location, he and his daughter helped me go through the steps to share our location via the phone. Both Jay and his daughter, Shelly, were friendly, professional, and helpful to us. They made sure we had all our luggage in the car before getting in the tow truck and then followed us for around 10 miles as we were going 50-55 on the spare with their lights on! They even answered our call when we had anther questions as to why a light may have come on again in the car and ask us to contact them when we got to the rental car agency to make sure we were safe! I had the pleasure to meet jay (owner) and Shelly last night after my wife got another flat tire on her way home from dc 1 on the way up and 1 on the way back 2 hours from home she was stranded on the side of 95 south for 2 hours cause a different tow company wouldn't come out after she already paid. So insurance immediately got on the phone and I was lucky enough to have beach's towing come out even after he just got done towing another car out to stafford. As soon as he got off the phone with insurance he was on the way and on the phone with us he was there in 30 mins under his timeframe of 45-1hr he pulled right up I explained what happened and he was more than happy to drive the car 2 hours down to our house in Norfolk. We had an incident in our driveway believe it or not. A very long, curvy driveway. The rain and recent ice made a complete mud hole and our car slid over the embankment and got stuck right next to a tree. The more we tried to get it out , the further it went down the hill and closer to the trees. We called this father and daughter duo and they were an hour away. They were quick to respond, letting us know their progress to our house. When they got here they had to bring their big rollback up our driveway which I can't even explain to anyone how treacherous it is. They navigated the driveway got us unstuck and then had to BACK down the driveway. This company went out of its way to make sure my car got to a safe location. My car was broken down and I used my insurance app to find a place to have it dropped off at for repair. The problem was that the location was someone's house that used to do repairs but was no longer in the business. Jay and Shelly called my insurance company and told them that the drop-off location was incorrect, my insurance company told them to drop it off at the location or bring it back to the spot they picked it up at. The homeowner told them if they leave it at his house that he was going to have it impounded. Jay and Shelly decided to find auto repair company to drop it off at. I absolutely recommend this towing and recovery business. Yesterday, my left front tire blew out on the highway. I immediately pulled off onto the side of the highway (very panicked) and called roadside assistance. A young officer came out to assist me, however, Jay saw us and out of the kindness of his heart came out to help us. Aside from adding on my spare tire, he offered to follow me to a gas station where he added more air to my spare and then followed me to a discount tire shop. There, he helped me figure out which tires I needed. (Btw I am a 24 y.o. female who has no car knowledge). Went through the car manufacturer's roadside assistance who lined up Beach's Towing and Jay was in contact with us very soon after that; and despite coming a long distance, he came quickly and kept me informed on his estimated arrival time. He quickly took care of business with the utmost care to our car. Jay is very friendly and willing to help out in any way, to include providing maintenance advice. My family and I had stopped at a WAWA on the way home from coaching soccer and when we attempted to start our car, the battery was dead. When we looked around for a place to push the car to get it out of the way, we saw the Beach's Towing and Recovery truck nearby, so I called the number on the side. Mr. Beach answered right away and immediately came to our assistance. I just had my first experience dealing with MR. Jay Beach himself and his company and if I am ever in the situation to have a car towed he will be my first option. My car was towed from Virginia to Maryland,over 50 miles which was roughly an hour drive. My car was towed on a newer flatbed truck and parked directly in front of my house. My wife thought a problem happened while the car was taken down to be parked, but it was actually just Mr. Jay treating my car with respect and care showing patience to park the car properly without incident as if my car was a $100k sports and not the Toyota Camry I just bought. My car was broken down 45 mins from home Sunday night. They were contracted through my insurance and as soon as I got their number I contacted them. The owner of the company was more accurate with keeping me updated on picking up my vehicle and safely dropping it off at my mechanic then the insurance tracking app. He even included pictures to verify it was where he said it was and when he said it would be there. The owner Jay was very friendly and professional over the phone as was his daughter who was dispatching (who also does some great graphics designs). If you're in need of a tow, give him a call.
