    camera glued to tv

wish i could give 0. Came last year for vacation with bf and found a camera super glued to our tv and left. wish we called the cops while we were still in wildwood, we called the cops when we got home and they confirmed it was a camera, and said they can only help if we reported it IN wildwood. do NOT GO HERE.

Filthy tub, you can see mold from the curtain as well.

Very dirty and not well taken care of. Came here for H2Oi with me and 3 other people (all under the age of 21) their website stated that you had to be 18 to get a room. When we arrived we were told in a very rude way that we had to be 21. The man at the counter was very rude with the interaction acting like we've been here before, even though we stated we've never been here and had no idea. He still let us stay which was nice. Our room was 2 double beds, with a mini fridge and microwave. The fridge had disgusting rust running down the front and the microwave barely worked. The room itself was very small and really dirty. The floor had sand from the last person which means no one swept. The beds were filled with stains and sand as well. A very big black ink stain was on the mattress itself. There was black hair in the bed as well (none of us already laid in the bed when i found it, and none of us have black hair). The bathroom was kinda clean. There was black hair in the shower and the bottom of the tub was filthy. The toilet was dirty. I was truly at my breaking point when i found pubes on the seat. I can definitely tell they did not change the bedding or clean the bathroom. If you want people to leave you reviews, maybe do a better job at making it a nicer experience for us, instead of giving us attitude when we first arrive and a dirty room that was left un cleaned.

Horrible place don't ever go here owners are rude asf, was trying a Pepsi from their vending machine and the guy came yelling out claiming I had a joint in my hand

Negatives:Small room(oceanview king),actually was facing mostly a staircase. Bath not updated. Beds are very firm(some may like this). Air conditioner rusted/falling apart/smelled like burning when on auto and noisy. Walls are very thin and unfortunately if you have inconsiderate folks near you, it sounds like they are in your room whether on sides or above room. Kids walk in your room if you don't immediately lock door. People can gather right outside your door talking so loud it sounds like a noisy bar in your room. Folks who were 6" outside our door for more than 30 minutes )and our door had do not disturb/resting sign on), did not leave after opening door to show them we were inside. When I asked front desk if there was anything they could do (like ask folks to at least gather outside their own room/or move to more open public spaces, she told me just leave room and "go enjoy yourself", that I was "being difficult" by just asking for some common sense considerate behavior. After I then commented that I guess it doesn't matter how much noise I make:She did finally say she would send someone up to disperse crowd. Ceiling tiles have water stains. Had leftover half used hotel hair conditioner bottle in bath. Doormat on inside room is filthy and stained. Parking spaces VERY narrow. Expect dings in your vehicle. You could have a nice stay, but better hope you have 1) more considerate bunch of folks staying when you do 2) Don't mind cramped room.3) Don't get room with deteriorated toilet seat/AC/doormat/walls,4) Have beat up or really tiny car PS bring earplugs if you want to sleep

Affordable, clean and friendly....you're just not going to find a better place for location and comfort! Have stayed multiple times and always had a very good experience. Parking can be a bit tight, but we never had to move the car after arriving because everything else is so close. Room had a. Ice living room with a pullout couch bed. Small kitchenette with fridge and a full bath. The bedroom in the back had two queen sized beds that had plenty of room around them. Awake to the most amazing sunset views on the sun deck, enjoy the ocean views for the rest of the day, then hit the boardwalk (which starts right in front of the hotel). I prefer the 4th floor rooms for a better ocean view. We didn't use the pool much due to the ocean being so close, but it was clean and always had room to enjoy!

It feels newer and cleaner. The guest rooms are spacious and bright. Both Towers have a pool, but the Ocean Tower side has a DJ on the weekend with cabanas for rent. My sister rented one for my brother-in-law's milestone birthday and we had a blast. The pool is kid friendly and gets quite busy on the weekends. They offer a small food menu with soft drinks. You're welcome to bring your own adult beverages (which you KNOW we did)! That being said, it's pricey and they are not particularly accommodating about checking into your room early. We feel they could be a little more flexible on this front. If it's not 4:00 PM (or close to it) then you're not getting the keys. If you want to pay $50, then your room is miraculously ready (but not before noon). Checking in at 3:00 PM should not constitute a fee. Just sayin'. If you're seeking retro vibes, then this is the place for you!

Unfortunately, our experience at the Madison Hotel in Wildwood Crest was extremely disappointing…read more The hotel was portrayed beautifully online, but what we encountered upon arrival was completely different. Our room was filthy. The comforters were visibly dirty, the pillows smelled strongly like cigarette smoke, there was hair on the floors, and we even found a dirty Band-Aid in the room when we arrived. The balcony door latch was also broken, which was a major safety concern for us because we were traveling with small children. The pool area was another serious concern. The flooring and stairs around the pool were slimy and extremely slippery. My daughter actually slipped on the pool stairs and bumped her head. While there is a posted sign stating that there is no lifeguard on duty, what was most upsetting was that no hotel staff came to assist us at all. Thankfully, other guests staying at the hotel stepped in, helped us get an ice pack, and made sure my daughter was okay. We were incredibly grateful for those guests, but it was disturbing that we received no assistance from the hotel staff during such a frightening situation. Customer service made the experience even worse. We repeatedly tried calling the front desk and could not get anyone to answer, and the voicemail box was full. Maintenance took nearly half a day to address the broken balcony latch. When we raised our concerns about the cleanliness, safety issues, and overall condition of the hotel, the staff seemed indifferent and unsure of how to handle the situation. We were so uncomfortable and disgusted by the condition of the hotel and the lack of customer service that we ultimately left a day early. For the price and the way this hotel is advertised, we expected a clean, safe, and welcoming place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. Between the dirty room, safety concerns, lack of responsiveness, and the way my daughter's pool accident was handled, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially to families traveling with young children.

Parking is available right around the building as well as on the street, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. One night, there was a very heavy rain storm. Since our back door was facing the beach, some water crept in through the bottom of the door. Nice campground but unfortunately aggressive towards EV owners…read more I've stayed here for roughly a month total in the last year or so and was warned early on that they believe charging EVs (even just trickle charging from 15 amp receptacles) will damage their electrical system. While this is an obviousfallacy especially for overnight charging when electrical demand is lower. It seemed the campground was attempting to be accommodating by installing an EV charger at the gate and more recently another at the main pool. This is apparently more of a price gouging move than a genuine attempt at supporting EV owners. The rate they charge is more than triple the prevailing electricity rate. It's even more expensive than the Superchargers a mile or so away at the courthouse. The reason I use the word aggressive to describe this EV politics is because despite not having a single mention of it in their extensive rules they diligently police the property to the point of entering peoples sites to check if EVs are plugged in then taking pictures of them, to come back and confront you later about it. When I'm spending thousands of dollars to stay at a campground on vacation I don't appreciate being lectured over a few bucks worth of electricity nor having my site entered and my privacy invaded to check enforcement of a rule that isn't even listed as a rule except possibly under the section that says they can add more rules at anytime. (Yes they literally have a rule that says that.) The campground facilities are generally nice but there's a lot of nice campgrounds in the area especially at this premium price point. If your an EV owner feel free to enjoy the site just be aware of the aggressive policies and privacy invasion that will come with staying at this location. Campgrounds understandably need to pick their battles and apparently this one has chosen to fight against EVs, police their charging and gouge them on electricity rates.

Lots of shaded sitting space was available all around the pool. Kids had lots of fun playing in the water. They had a terrace space on second floor that we used for hanging out with our big group. The room was spacious since it had a living space too. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but good enough to do necessary tasks. The beach across the hotel was fantastic. The sand was soft and we could walk almost 25 feet into the water at waist high level. All staff members we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The hotel organized different activities for kids and adults on each day. The only negative of the place was they had a small elevator, so there was a long wait every time we had to go up or down. It also has an outdoor hangout area with lounge chairs and light at 2nd floor. Swimming pool on ground floor. Kid section is fenced in (good feature). Parking lot attached (need a tag from them). Bathroom is a little small but it will do it. Absolutely love the big living room because we came with a big group and we were able to hangout in the room and outdoor area as well. Beds were good. Enough closet/drawer space for us. The staff were nice. No food service but there were many restaurants downstairs. Again you are paying for the location not the amenities in the hotel. For over 25 my fiancee and her family has been going to Wildwood I joined the crew 13 years ago. We used to stay at a different place but we got very annoyed and upset with them last summer so this year we tried out Paradise and let me say it was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. The location is perfect. Literally right on the beach. All the staff were so friendly and professional always with smiles and paying attention to details. The rooms were very very clean. The amenities provided were plentiful the beds comfortable we had 2 bathrooms which is a huge plus and our room had a amazing king sized bed. The other room had 2 full/queen beds plus there is a sofa bed if needed. Absolutely plenty of room. The rooms were always made up when we left (one of the several reasons we got annoyed with the prior hotel). There is an elevator for the upper floor and they have luggage carts so you don't have to climb stairs while lugging bags. They have a little shop in front where you can purchase such as candy, chips, beach supplies and ice (sorry no ice machine). The pool is amazing. Very refreshing after a long day at the beach. Only bad thing is no floats allowed in the pool. There are 2 sun decks. One by the pool and one on the second floor that faces the ocean. Plenty of loungers and chairs as well as umbrellas. They also have 2 BBQ grills and tables to enjoy a meal outside. Also there is a beach volleyball court. I would say the only negative things are the no floats in the pool, no ice machine and no designated parking for handicapped people (I am a disabled veteran and police officer) other than those things which were really no biggie our stay was absolutely amazing and a great time was enjoyed by our entire family.
