Cool spot that used to be a different brewery back in the day. The Citraholic and service were excellent, but I was confused with the 25 cent pinball games in a cashless establishment with a powerless quarter dispenser. Someone please assist, lolz.

Really great brewery near the downtown area of Bixby Knolls. A great spot to grab a drink and some bites with your friends and family. They have a nice arcade/games area and some TVs for sports. And they have a great backyard patio as well. The service has always been friendly and helps us pick out what we like in beers. One thing I would like to see more are descriptions of the beers, like flavor notes and hops used. Last time I went, they had 7 beers that just said "West Coast IPA" which is one or helpful. Otherwise a great place!

This was my first time here, but I had heard good things about it from lots of folk, and it did not disappoint. :) Food/Drink: I was pleased with the appetizers, we had garlic fries, the mixed greens, and the burger between us, and all were quite tasty. They have their on-site brews along with some other local staples, and they have a variety of mixed drinks along with a tiki bar vibe, double that with a holiday drink themed tiki drink page and you have yourself a bit of something for everyone. I had a few seltzers, and a few Lapu Lapu and I was doing just fine. ;) The service was friendly and knowledgable, and they were working hard to get the drinks out. Once the place was hopping it did take ~20 minutes for some of the tiki drinks, but it was worth the wait for sure - quality takes time - I know my drinks weee good, and I didn't hear anyone else complaining; I'll trade time for tastiness any day. ;) In all I'd certainly return, and I hope to see you there!

Stopped in recently for the Christmas holiday season. They offered a wide selection of delicious drinks for in a cute collection of cups. The service was quick and there was ample seating space throughout the area. My one comment is about the small parking area. My friend and I came in right before it got busy but would definitely recommend carpooling or finding street parking.

Welcome addition to North Long Beach, this spot offers a delicious menu to compliment the draft or cocktails they offer in-house. There is parking in the back or a few spots in front, but a bus stop is just a minute walk north. I highly recommend the buffalo wings, they could use a but more buffalo zing but whatever they add to their sauce is killer; similar to a sweet and spicy. Garlic fries are a must with an IPA. An arcade and board games are available for you to enjoy. I cannot say they offer sports here, as the speakers won't emit TV audio. You can definitely have both and it's pretty crucial to a sports viewing experience. It was a shame to watch the Finals with no audio.

At this point I'm just posting photos of their seasonal mugs and cups presentation is half the battle. I love that they do this and the ambiance is great. Service is always friendly. Food is ok. I'll come here for the cocktails themselves since they make their own syrups and distill their own liquors. There's always something new my tastebud hasn't tasted yet and that's what I'm looking for. Very few places in Bixby knolls will offer that!

Based on this visit, it was quite nice. Other reviews were either a hit or miss but my experience was quite nice. We stopped by for a nightcap as it was still open and there was still a good amount of people inside. The food trucks were still active but by the time we left, it was cleaned and closed. There's a good selection of pinball machines at the back or the place. Seating wise, there seemed to be a lot of seats but can get busy and all taken obviously. We ordered drinks and snack from the bar. A pretty selection that they carry both for beer and food. There's also apparels for purchase as well. Stuck with the light beer which was quite nice. Snack wise, the Parmesan fries and loaded fries. Portion wise was quite big and they were tasty. Service was great and staff were quite friendly. Gave us some recommendations on what we would like. First timer and it was nice and pleasant experience.

Since the distillery opened up here it has been a favorite spot of ours. I'm not a beer person but my husband is so it's great that he can grab a beer and I can get a cocktail which are always amazing. Enrique & Tyler are always great when we go. Now let's talk about the food. This isn't no ordinary brewery food. Oh no no no. The strawberry bbq wings, the Caesar and any of their greens or brussels are so addicting and delicious you can't go wrong with any of those. Love that they added the little back patio space too.

Potential, but the service was lacking. I can't recommend. I would search elsewhere for a brewery, at least for now.

I have the craft beer passport book, and I came here trying to have a good time. I'll be straight up with you, I didn't like how the guy was bothered because I had it. He was all jolly before mentioning I have the passport (to tour breweries) then, his attitude changed, so rude and dismissive. I am not a jerk or picky person, look at my previous reviews, I try to be tolerant having a service based business myself, but this guy ruined our experience. It's 5pm on Saturday March 14th, and he's the older gentleman, not the young guy with the mustache. Some coaching is needed here. If I was the owner, I wouldn't be okay with the service provided from this gentleman. Smile and come to work with a great attitude, regardless. Sorry for the low rating, just didn't like feeling unimportant.

I forgot the name but This was some kind of banana diaquiri and it was amazingggg reminds me of fall

I enjoy coming here for both beers and cocktails ! Service is always quick and friendly. I love how they got same games in the back and some board games for you to play also. I got the strawberry bbq wings and there were deliciousssss! Drinks are very good also ! During the holidays they would have seasonal drinks. One of my fav brewery I enjoy in LB !

Third time here. Brought sister-in-law this time. Again sat at the bar. I ordered the Love cup. Rum and rum. It was good. Had the bread & fries, that was awesome. Fresh & hot. Sister-in-law had mushroom burger & she said it tested great. I did sliders. One original & the other two were the golden west. All three were great. The service was good again, with friendly bartenders. They played great music that was not overly loud so you could talk to each other.

Great selection of beers. If you love sour beers, this place is heaven. With many choices you can't miss a good pint.

Drove by from another brewery and got curious about this place so stopped by and give it a try. Parking in front of (street) or parking lot in back of the building along side the food truck. Entrance can be infront or in the back. I entered from the back, once you got in, very spacey with over look the brewing/distilling area and with the arcades of the 80s/90s games against the back wall. The ambiance vibe of chill and relax and carefree with the mixes of oldies & funky. You have cocktails and beers, which is hard to choose since just got beer and taking a break from cocktails. But they have interesting drinks hard to ignore and with the help of their friendly, helpful staff, I got pickle tini, which surprisingly quite good (sweet and pickles) and with a garlic & pickle for garnet. Their drink menu is divided into 5 sections (tiki & tropical, spirit forward - pickle tini in it, house shots, staples & signatures, low abv) with non-alcoholic and wine & beer. Their fresh bites is quite a selections. I might pick the wrong item to pair with the cocktail but it freshly makes and tasty. Will have to come back another time to try their beers & other cocktails.

Reservations for seating is silly. Place is usually empty. Can't just stop by for a beer anymore. Weak move.

However, most employees were cleaning in some way which was a good sign. It did feel a little more fresh and clean at this location than other ones. The entrance was interesting because I'm used to just entering the doors and immediately being inside the arcade, but you have to enter through the dilapidated Lakewood Center mall first, and then take escalators up to Round1. It's also a little hectic coming here, because it's right next to Costco. There were an adequate amount of machines, but it definitely seemed smaller than the other locations I visited in LA. However, the skill games and payout rates were very reasonable and fair, and I made out quite well! I won my first Getter Spin game here because the speed was pretty good. You do have to cherry pick a bit, as some of the popular or newer prizes were behind cheese wheels.

Prices have definitely been going up and prizes are harder to get (recession indicator fr), so I admittedly have started playing less. I only come when I need to blow off some steam or there's a prize I really want. Round 1 has an AMAZING selection of plushies During my last visit, I had some great encounters with a couple of the workers! I had some issues regarding the app and connecting my card, and one of the managers stationed at the bowling area was super nice and walked me through connecting a new card and ensuring I got my points for it! Oddly enough, they felt very well-staffed for a Wednesday, and there was plenty of staff on the floor that day to help me reset a couple of times, whenever the token plush dropped out of claw's reach. There was one worker who came right when I needed him and helped reset the token back within claw's reach. I got my usahana that night!!! I wish I remembered their names so I could shout them out! They really made my night after a rough day.

But sometimes you just gotta leap headfirst into an adventure and hope for the best! The Midsummer Scream Halloween & Horror Convention is held yearly at the Long Beach Convention Center for one weekend in August. Friday it's from 6PM-10PM, Saturday is from 11AM-7PM, and Sunday is from 11AM-6PM. Friday tickets are $40, Saturday tickets are $57, and Sunday tickets are $52. If you're not scared to spend, you can get a weekend pass for $73. If you're truly fearless, the VIP Gold Bat Pass is $199 that gives you priority access to admission (you can enter at 10AM), priority entry for panels/presentations/attractions, commemorative lanyard/badge & pin, and admission to the Saturday night party. We bought tickets for Sunday as it was the only thing not sold out. We arrived at the convention center around 9:40AM and it was packed from all sides! There are two main entrances on both sides of the center, so it really doesn't matter which side you choose. Both sides are split into multiple general admission lines. They passed out free tote bags and there were some people in horror costumes to take pictures with. Speaking of which, if you ever wanted to let your freak flag fly high and go all out dressing up, you couldn't have picked a better place! Loads of fans came dressed up in costumes and make-up - if you think you're overdoing it, you're not! Once the doors opened, the lines were quick to be guided inside (unless you have a bag, in which case security had to clear you). The ground floor had some photo ops and some food vendors. The main convention floor is below but wheelchair accessible (lots of disabled fans were present). They had a map of the area, but honestly unless you're there for a specific thing or person, just roam around! Horror and Halloween fans galore! It gets more crowded the later it gets, so the early fan gets the worm! The Hall of Shadows is its own section and features tons of mini haunted attractions like mazes, houses, and photo-ops. Very low-light and plenty of fog machines so watch where you're going! The Screaming Room showcases short films from around the world. The Black Cat Lounge is filled with cats to pet, cuddle or adopt. Paranormal Pixie's Pumpkin Patch is a gore-free and scare-free kid corner area with performances, book readings, coloring, and other child-friendly activities. Speaking of which, children 10 and under get free general admission to the convention with a paid adult guardian (2 free kids max per adult). The show floor is the biggest area and completely covered with vendors, celebrity booths, horror-themed coffee & treats, and much much more. If you're looking for make-up, they got it. If you're looking for cheap movies to buy, they got it. If you're looking for clothes/costumes/merch, they got it. You'll basically find anything and everything horror/Halloween related here, so make sure to get your steps in! There are also several photo-ops in every crevice and corner, so remember to charge your phone or bring your fancy cameras! We tried the Gorchata (horchata latte with pumpkin cold foam) from Coffinated Coffee, a churro cheesecake from Lunas Sweets and Treats, and a lemonade from a random stand. There are some food trucks out back and plenty of restaurants in the immediate area if you want actual food. We hit up every booth that had a spin wheel for free prizes like free/discounted tickets for Haunted Hayride, Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns, Evil Dead in concert, Street Food Cinema, and stickers/candy. Movie studios and theme parks had their own special photo-ops. Overall we had a blast for our first time at Midsummer Scream! Lots of things to see and do, lots of nice horror fans to interact with, lots of money to spend if you're not careful! Probably the biggest/only downside is that there are literally no places to sit, so be prepared to be on your feet all day! We saw some tables out back near the food truck area, but we were on our way to exit anyways. There's plenty of parking lots/garages in the area for different prices so don't stress over it (just remember where you parked though). We'd love to come back, but maybe next year we'll spring for the weekend passes so we can take our time and strategize better.
