    Italian cream soda
    Ebony R.

Today's journey started with a Tap on it text to my cell phone. I literally have no idea how I even started getting these texts but they come in handy and I get to try new places. One of my coupons today said one free medium Italian ice I was like cool because I wanted to try a new coffee shop anyway. I get in my car and this is a nice little drive out to Covell Dr the address says Edmond but my spirit feels like its in Deer Creek or further anyway back to the story. So I pull up in the drive through and ask can I mix the Italian ice because I see some yummy flavors that I would like to try. The nice lady that is helping me tells me yes that I can then I ask her about Italian cream soda and then get myself all confused about what I ordered and what the difference is. So I had to ask her again what I could mix. I probably ended up confusing her as much as I confused myself but in the end she straightened me out. Everytime she came back to help me the great aroma of the coffee would hit me directly in the face and for the likes of me for some reason I didn't even get any coffee‍. However I did get a watermelon mango Italian Ice and a cherry Italian cream soda which i would not recommend because it taste mediciny to me.

This place is so cute! They have any flavor imaginable and also in SUGAR-FREE! They have milk substitutions such as almond and oat milk! I had a sugar free pumpkin spice cappuccino with almond milk and it was so delicious! They have merch inside that includes: jewelry, hand poured soy wax candles(the cactus one smells so good), and insulated coffee mugs with a beautiful logo. This place is a great addition to the deer creek area being close by the schools to where you can grab a coffee in the morning on your way to taking the kids to school or stop by there when you pick your kids up from school to get them an Italian ice for an after school treat! I can't wait to take my kids to this place and let them try one of their Italian ice as a fun surprise one day after school!

Caramel latte and cowboy cold brew. Delicious!

Warm hospitality! Our drinks were very good and there is a lots of syrup options. Uses Topeca coffee which is a local high quality brand in Tulsa.

Such great coffee and breakfast food! They have the friendliest staff! Always are in such a great mood and greet you so nicely at the window! They are super accommodating as well!

    Mango Smoothie

So glad they are here in the Deer Creek Area. Had a Mango Smoothie. Was the best I've ever had! A little wait in the drive through was well worth it. Friend got the Green smoothie and she really enjoyed it.

Even though our server said the dishes were meant for sharing. One of the big drawbacks was the lack of clarity around spice levels. The menu didn't indicate if the dishes would be spicy, so I was in a bit of a surprise when I ate my steak tacos. For the elotes, they were very tangy and were very overpriced for what it is. We were ordering that to go with the tacos since they don't come with a side. And the elotes came out before for our tacos which we waited for because we didn't want to eat it on its own. So it was frustrating. We did enjoy the karaage-crispy and flavorful. The aioli was on the tangy side though. Cocktails were probably the highlight of the meal. Reasonably priced, generous portion compared to the food. Overall, while I appreciate the effort to bring some bold flavors to the table, I don't think we will be returning. It's definitely not worth the price.

The place is…read morelively but conversation at our table was just fine, even though we were seated near the door. We had a great group of servers taking care of us led by Lexi. Sometimes the service at new restaurants is challenging but not here. We received fantastic service from the moment we were greeted at the door. The menu is littered with unfamiliar terms and ingredients that you may want to Google beforehand. My husband and I did this before our visit and really had fun learning new names and techniques. It made our visit even better and we were very excited to try new dishes. We were a foursome and treated the menu more like a tapas, sharing bites among friends. This allowed us the opportunity to sample many more dishes than usual. We started with a simple chips and guacamole, which was clearly fresh and made in-house. Next time we'll definitely start with the salsa trio as it sounds equally delicious. Next we ordered the White Bean Purée. The addition of the short ribs makes this a dish not to overlook. We also had the Karaage which is a Japanese style fried chicken. It's not something I'd imagine seeing on a Latin restaurant menu but boy am I glad it is. You can't go wrong with it. You order sides for the table so we chose Elote (Mexican style corn) and Papas Verde (potatoes with verde sauce), as well as a Romaine salad. I didn't get a picture of the salad until it had been dished out so my apologies for the incomplete photo. My husband and I ordered tacos, the Suadero (brisket) for me and the Skirt Steak for him. Both were loaded with flavor but not spicy hot if that's your concern. Our friends ordered the Smoked Half Chicken to share between them. I had a taste and it was terrific, juicy and flavorful. In spite of the mountain of food we'd enjoyed, we couldn't resist dessert, two of them actually. The Banana Bread came with a peanut butter mousse and these delicious cookie and coconut crumbles. The bread was moist and delicious but that mousse was simply fantastic. I've never had anything like it and would buy it by the jar if I could. The Concha is another delightfully unique dish. They take strawberry ice cream, coat it with cornflakes and deep fry it. It turns out looking like a fried chicken breast. They use a Mexican style sweet bread for the buns and deliver it with a knife stuck into the "sandwich" as you'd expect with the real thing. I couldn't try it due to a food allergy but my three tablemates devoured it in short order. If you have a sweet tooth Vecina has the answer for that. I'm very impressed with the food and the wonderful service. It's a fun place and we can't wait to go back soon.

Even the Mild is spicy and the Lemon Herb (bottom of the spice level) has a kick to it. To be clear, I have zero tolerance for spice, so when other reviews say there is no spice in the Lemon Herb, they are probably used to spice on the daily.... Is this place Portuguese or African? I'm not sure! All I know is that this African Bird's Eye Chili spice is the real deal. I got the Lemon Herb Chicken Rice Bowl. It doesn't come with any vegetables, so it's pretty plain. You can order steamed vegetables, but that is mostly carrots and green beans. Hubs got the half chicken with mild and lemon herb. He is more used to spice and he was downing his water. It is packed with flavor with a punch, just not somewhere I would come regularly. The prices were on the higher side for what you get as well. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and patient with us as we were newbies. Easy parking.

I had high hopes about this place as my brother was in town visiting and said he read a good review…read moreabout it. The decor is very eclectic and kitschy...it looks like they furnished it with goodwill. Which is not a negative thing, in my book...just a specific aesthetic. Upon first glance, I was impressed by the menu and its extensive offerings. Everything sounded very good and we were hungry having a late breakfast. I ordered an iced french vanilla latte to drink and it was pretty good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate a sweet, well balanced latte. The waitress seemed panicked from the moment she introduced herself. She was kind and polite, but you could tell she wanted us to hurry up so she could get to her other tables. I think the poor girl was maybe the only person serving our party of three and another party of like 15 that came in, so it was clear she was overwhelmed. The ordering process felt very rushed and the moment we stopped talking, she launched towards the back. I've served for over 20 years, so I have compassion for being "in the weeds", but the key to good service is to not make the customer bear the weight of your urgency, in my opinion. Nonetheless, we ordered our food with anticipation. I was excited that they offered eggs Benedict in several different forms, but I ordered it the old fashioned way with hash browns as my side. The food took a reasonable amount of time to cook. Once we received our meals, everything looked really good. As I cut into my eggs Benedict, I realized the egg wasn't fully poached (it was still gooey) and the meat they used wasn't actual Canadian Bacon, but rather a sliced deli meat. I'm assuming it was ham. It looked like they pulled it straight out of a package from Walmart and slapped it on the English muffin. The food was just not good and definitely not worth the price. My brother got an omelet and there was cheese on top, but it was literally a sliced cheese laid on top of the omelette and it wasn't even fully melted. I respect this establishment as it is a small business and I give them kudos for what they did well. I would recommend they reduce their menu selections and focus on offering better quality ingredients for the items they serve. As for the service, it's a human experience. Some days are good and some days are bad. My only recommendation is that if you're "in the weeds" let your table know that you just got sat with a big top and you need to catch up, but you're going to take great care of them. That feels much better than feeling rushed. All in all, I don't envision myself coming back to this place unless I hear some significant changes are made regarding the quality of ingredients in their food.
