Dined here during covid times and we enjoyed the food and experience! We were hesitant to sit indoors but given the 90+ degrees outdoors, we were lucky to snag the alcove next to the doorway. Food- we each ordered burgers and were very happy and incredibly full!! My husband had the one with toast as buns, I got the one with blue cheese and spicy peppers and brother got the mega Shenandoah. Meat, toppings, and buns were good quality and fresh; ingredients were plentiful. I barely finished mine (left the top bun off). If you enjoy spice and pickled things, the spicy peppers had incredible flavor, but didn't overtake the rest of the burger. If you're ravenous and love onion rings, the shenandoah is your friend! We asked for sides of bacon, mayo and ranch, napkins, etc and they were quick to grab them for us. No attitudes detected unlike other reviews, just (masked) smiles and friendliness! Decor/inside- spaces out due to covid. 4-5 tables outside with umbrellas. only 4-5 tables inside as well. We didn't wear masks as we were eating, but felt relatively safe due to spacing indoors. Everyone put on masks when going to the restroom again. No masks, no entry. We've got more places to try in beacon but if we're looking for a great burger and nice service, we'll definitely go back!! Such a hole in the wall place but we were thrilled to have found it! We arrived early for breakfast and found that only one server is there in the morning. It's a small place so it felt right. Our server was literally amazing. So helpful and honestly just amazing at her job. We sat in the window and slammed our food. I usually don't love breakfast food for breakfast so I actually got a salmon sandwich (AMAZING) and my husband got the ricotta pancakes (HOLY COW) they were stacked, covered in strawberries, and had filling in between each pancake. We were among the early brunch-goers at Beacon Falls Cafe, and I think that's my recommendation for anyone else hoping to have Beacon's best brunch. When we arrived, we had a 15 minute wait and strolled down Main Street for a bit until we got a call that our table was ready. By the time we were eating, though, we heard the wait was up to 40 min. Even if you have to wait, it's worth it. The specials menu was just about as long as the regular brunch menu, and they had so many things I would have tried. Stopped for lunch and ordered the falafel platter. The falafel balls were done perfectly, however the pita bread was a problem. I have eaten falafel in many places in the US and in many countries. The pita is always a "pocket" so that you can combine the toppings and eat like a sandwich or wrap. Beacon Falls served it with a solid pita disc. Must use knife and fork!! Our waitress said other patrons also commented that it was difficult to eat, so I suggested another pita disc be served. It never appeared!?! Ok so I'm not from beacon but came across this restaurant after an afternoon at Fishkill Farms. The menu seemed fine but when we sat down, they had a bunch of fall specials which seemed super promising and they all looked very good! My friend and I went with the chicken scarpiello and my other friends had a burger and a sandwich. The pasta seemed good with chicken chorizo and cherry peppers. When the fish came, there were TONS of jalapeños in it which were not specified on the menu. It ended up being super spicy and pretty overpowering. It was just a surprise and it seemed to be drowning a bit in the jalapeño residual juice. I ate as much as I good before it got too spicy. My friend who likes spicy food even said it was too much Three stars just for my personal experience. My other friends who got sandwiches and burgers enjoyed their meal a lot and there were tons of beacon residents there and most of the tables were reserved so it's definitely a popular place. I feel like I need to give this place 3.5 stars. Went here yesterday for brunch and the place was not busy: there were 3 empty tables, but might have been short-staffed. Regardless.... I wish there was an option to write a review for the food and for service separately. First off, the service was great in terms of attentiveness. Our waitress was friendly and had a good level of energy. Unfortunately, despite the server's efforts, Beacon Falls Cafe failed to deliver. We ordered the "just eggs" and the Sicilian baked eggs. We ordered the eggs over-medium with a side of bacon. The eggs came out as an undercooked over easy. Sound weird? Imagine it get over easy eggs where the egg whites aren't cooked well. The "home fries" were poorly seasoned and oily. The Sicilian baked eggs were supposed to come in marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese. When the order came out, it looked promising. However, once you go on for a bite, you realize that the marinara sauce is horribly watered down. This takes away from the flavor and texture of the dish. I'm not sure how this establishment was voted the "best brunch in the Hudson valley." Maybe we came on an off day but I won't accept that as an excuse. read more

I was part of this party and witnessed what happened and you're either confusing us with someone else or are just trying to cover what happened. It is extremely unprofessional to assume you know the situation and to say we're spreading misinformation - when you're clearly confused. We verified with staff twice by asking "so you can't sit a party of 5 at all?" and they told us they could not. We didn't want to sit outside. We never requested to sit outside, but didn't care either way. We had a party of 5 and just wanted to get brunch as I have MANY times before and have been accommodated. Maybe there was a miscommunication between your staff, but we were told you cannot sit 5 people, period. We were turned away. You also mentioned a party of 8?? Which was never mentioned because we were certainly not 8. Maybe actually read the review before assuming the customer is spreading false information and follow up with your staff. read more
