Delicious " Grandma " style Sicilian slice

Wow is all can say about this restaurant. I stepped foot into one of the classiest Italian Restaurants ever. The entire place exuded class and elegance including the staff. The staff seemed so happy to be there, we had nice conversation and they were so kind. There was a bridal shower happening in the back wing of the restaurant. And front wing was full of dining customers . I ordered the " Grandma" style Sicilian Slice and it tasted just as amazing as it looked. Made with Savory marinara sauce with a kick of spice .... Chef's Kiss. It was my first time trying this place and I already can't wait to come back the next time I visit. Great date night spot or special occasion. So classy and so delicious. Hats off the owner .

Spinach Ravioli

Excellent spinach ravioli - one of the best I've had, and great mozzarella sticks. Quick service and lots of seating. I'd definitely visit again.

Saltimbocca

This family owned restaurante found at the end of Main Street is a gem. The hostess was kind and made a us feel welcomed with a party of 6. The menu was easy to read and had plenty of options. The initial room you enter feels like the restaurant is small but as you turn the corner two larger banquet rooms provide plenty of space. The lighting was perfect slightly dimmed but bright enough to see the menu and the guest. Food was delicious ranged from Veal Marsala to pizza. We had every option of Italian cousins that tasted delicious and homemade. Wine choices were varied and also well matched with the food selection. Perfect place to bring your family and friends to enjoy a nice Italian meal. Saltimbocca was delicious well balanced dish Veal covered in prosciutto and mozzarella. Great white wine sauce with a side of cappellini and red sauce.

Complimentary garlic knots

Absolutely amazing experience at Brother's Trattoria! It was a very cold evening walking around town and we were craving a nice warm meal. Italian food was ideal and Brother's was nearby! Walking in to the toasty restaurant with delicious smells, we knew we had made the right choice. We were greeted enthusiastically, quickly seated, and immediately served complimentary garlic knots. They were so fresh and delicious! Everything on the menu was mouthwatering, but I knew exactly what I wanted: chicken parm. As soon as it arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. This chicken parm was large, cheesy, warm, and just amazing all around. The perfect meal for that very cold day (the perfect meal for any time, actually!). When I went to the restroom, I bumped into one of the owners who very enthusiastically greeted meet and asked me about my experience. He showed me around the restaurant and really took time to talk to me, which I appreciated. He also came to our table to talk to our family, and they all really enjoyed that. I will definitely return to Brother's Trattoria when I'm in town again!

Rigatoni Carbonara

So delicious! I was looking for a place that had carbonara pasta since I never had it before, and this was the only one near me I could find. Menu just said cream sauce so I don't know if it's really made with egg, but it was so good. I tried my boyfriend's penne and it was sooo full of flavor. I think for the flavor and quantity, it's worth it for the price. Service was very friendly and it had a pretty interior. I am definitely coming back. I'm from the area so I'm familiar with the parking situation - we just park at Churchill lot and walk over

The last dinner of our recently concluded vacation was at this popular Italian restaurant. My wife chose penne vodka with shrimp while her favorite dining companion opted for scarpariello di adelina (chicken breast sauteed with hot peppers (they were not kidding), Italian sausage and roasted potatoes in a garlic/Chardonnay reduction). This particular version of chicken scarpariello was different than I have encountered in the past and was deemed to be only fair. Included in our meals were garlic knots and bountiful house salads with blue cheese dressing. Portion size was such that most patrons departed with doggie bags in hand.

It's one of those places where you can immediately tell the owners care about both the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant has a classy, Great Gatsby-inspired feel with elegant décor, plenty of space, and a spotless dining area. I loved the attention to detail, and the bar area is especially charming--it's the kind of place where you could easily stop in just for a glass of wine. We started with the hummus served with warm pita bread, and it was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken empanadas were another favorite--crispy, flavorful, and served with fresh pico de gallo that complemented them perfectly. I also enjoyed a glass of wine, and it paired beautifully with the meal. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. My daughter wanted fries, even though they weren't on the menu, and the chef was kind enough to prepare a fresh order just for her. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and really showed how much they care about their guests. The service was exceptional. The chef came out to greet us, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Before we left, they mentioned they have live music on certain nights, which gave us yet another reason to come back. This is truly one of Beacon's hidden gems. Between the delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, it's a place I'll happily recommend. We already know we'll be back!

First time being on Main Street in Beacon, and I must say there is a good scene happening here…read more Plenty of options for food but we chose here. TVR is a restaurant/record store/hangout. We went around 5pm, and saw the sign "Seat Yourself & Order At The Bar". Ok... So I asked a bartender for 2 menus, and found a booth. We decided quickly, and I made my way to the bar. Others were ahead of me, so I patiently waited to order: Tripple Smash Burger, Honey Buffalo Salad, Purple Rain (2), Diet Coke. I paid at the bar, served the drinks and waited for our food. The music was 80's MTV Themed {Pat Benatar, Bon Jovi, Bruuuce, Billy Idol}. Jenga, Horrible Couple and Cards Against Humanity were on the tables to pass the time. Or flip through the many records available for purchase until the food arrives. The salad was large in size and very good. Been a while since I had a burger, and this filled the void. Fries were not that hot, but we ate them anyway. Afterwards, we went downstairs and played some old school arcade games and then headed out. Upon leaving we saw someone was having a birthday party, which was nice to see. I'm sure in the summer this place gets packed. They also have a selection of draught beer (The proper way to spell it). Good choice for food, although it wasn't cheap. Bill w/tip was $100. I think having a server on staff for all hours would be a good decision for TVR to make, in order to TCB !

You can scan the vinyl for sale at the in store record shop, hit the arcade games and chill in the lounge/speakeasy downstairs, play board or card games at a table near the bar, and try the delicious crafted cocktails! Oh, there's alsoa food menu! We had to sit ourselves and order at the bar but the honey buffalo salad and burger were (surprisingly) some of the best bar meals I've had. I'll go anywhere to look at Bruce Springsteen's face and get buzzed off a martini called Purple Rain. Count me in girrrrl

Generally speaking, the ambience is really nice. All of the staff was very nice and attentive. We did have a newer server who seemed a little bit nervous and less familiar with the menu than you might want, but she was very nice and we have no complaints about the actual service. We split a half bottle of wine, which was a nice option since we didn't want a full bottle. We started with the French baguette, the brussels sprouts, and the whipped ricotta. The brussels sprouts were delicious. They were perfectly cooked and I couldn't stop going back to them. The whipped ricotta was also really interesting and the flavors were amazing. What was really disappointing was the baguette. When I think baguette, I think crusty, hot, out of the oven. The texture of the baguette was weird because it almost had more of a pretzel like exterior that was chewy and not crispy. For mains, we had the crispy chicken sandwich and the cassoulet. The sandwich was kind of a letdown. The flavors were all nice, but there was no textural difference. The bun was a little too big for the sandwich, the avocado, and the other toppings, just all kind of mushed into each other. It was perfectly enjoyable, but just nothing to write home about. The cassoulet was very good. There was a nice depth of flavor and smokiness to the meat. Overall, no complaints. It did seem as though our mains probably sat under a heat lamp. My guess is that because we were still working on the appetizers they did not want us to feel rushed, but with this kind of meal and the price point, they should do a better job pacing, or they should just bring the food out when it comes out. I would rather have the fresh hot food out of the kitchen, than have it sitting under a heat lamp. Overall, the meal was lovely. There were a lot of really high points. There were also some disappointing parts of the meal. Given the price point and the feel of the round house, the few missteps hit a little bit harder. But we would absolutely come back again. It was an overall very nice experience and we enjoyed our ourselves.

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. If you're looking for great seafood, excellent service, gorgeous waterfront views, and one of the best dining experiences in Newburgh, Blu Pointe is an easy recommendation. We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
