10/5/25. Our first experience with Turkish food. We knew that the food must be good; because they were several Turkish families having breakfast there. How do I know they were Turkish? They were speaking with the owners, and it wasn't in English! The Turkish Breakfast is very large, I couldn't imagine anyone finishing it. There's eggs, cheeses, breads, a wide assortment of spreads, and coffee. The restaurant isn't very large. A few tables and a bench along one wall. The tables are cleared quickly after each customer; however no one is rushed. The serving dishes are works of art. The coffee is served in, I think, traditional style. The coffee cup is in a zarf. No burned fingers. A small piece of Turkish delight as a counter point to the strong coffee, Weekends are busy. We'll be back on a weekday, hungry, to try the Turkish Breakfast.

The food was really good and the service was fairly quick, making for a pleasant dining experience. I also tried the Turkish coffee -- it was just as expected, rich and strong. Overall, a satisfying meal and worth a visit!

This was a delightful surprise! Seriously spectacular ambiance. Incredible food! Just authentic, homemade, warm and tasty. I would come every day if we didn't live in Denver. We had the Turkish coffee, sahlep, kafta platters, and the chicken sandwich. Great service. Go enjoy and be transported to your Turkish family's kitchen!

Great food, amazing service, and nice vibes. My Turkish boyfriend could only say "tastes like home" after every dish. I highly recommend the Turkish breakfast for two.

Unbelievable. No hype in simply summarizing the restaurant as a terrific experience. There are no reservations, so you would be wise to have someone willing to wait out an opening while the rest of your group visit the nice local shops. The Turkish spices and skillfully prepared dishes, as well as the beautiful Turkish plates, bowls, teapots and cloths made for a unique and memorable experience. The owner is a gem of a human being. We loved her immediately and it appeared that the baby in our group immediately adopted her into our family. Lovely. Highly recommended.

Very lovely little Turkish place. Got a couple pastries and they were all delicious. Very friendly staff and such a cute vibe. The almond cookie was delicious!

Five stars due to the delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with artifacts from the homeland. My daughter and I ordered the Turkish Breakfast, halloumi cheese sandwich and Turkish Tea. I was so surprised by the amount of food we received for the breakfast..l.so many small delicious dishes. The halloumi was a delight, like a panini with olive tapenade. Absolutely wonderful! I lived the Turkish tea, which had a whiff of sweetness and was served in a pot over a warming flame. Words can't do this justice. You must go and try it for yourself.

This place is a GEM! The food was superb. I had never had traditional Turkish food but I love going to Beacon, we were looking for something new and I saw good reviews so it was a no brainer. I was with some friends and they were all pretty impressed and complimented me for choosing this place. We tried the breakfast for 2 and another dish that I feel sad I do not remember but it was eggs in some sauce and my friend basically absorbed it - that good. The whole spread was delicious and oh so worth the price! You can choose how you want your eggs, but we decided to follow the owners recommendation and although I am a picky eater with tomatoes on my eggs it was just flavorful. The portions, the presentation, the bread, the cheese, the tea... everything was 10/10. The place is small and cozy, groups could feel too close to each other so it's up to you. We chose a corner table so we felt comfortable. They also have bread to go, and items for sale. The service was excellent. Very much a homey vibe and family style.

I felt right at home here. Everything made with so much care. Every dish/ingredient and smile was authentic. I loved the chef and all the turkish staples she produces in her kitchen. Even better that it is sll done in front of you! Cant wait to come back

We had a beautiful and delicious Turkish breakfast at Nilufer's Home Kitchen. Everything was lovely but particularly high marks for the house-made bread (especially the olive bread) and the Turkish coffee. Hope to visit again next time we're in the area.

Great spot for lunch!…read more My husband and I stopped in on our way back to our Airbnb after a long morning hike. This place is counter service, so we made our way directly to the register to place our order. Upon ordering, we were warned that it would be at least a 30 minute wait until our food was ready due them being short staffed. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.

But when I want to have an elevated experience with a nod to fine dining, this is my go-to. I always bring friends from out of town here and everyone is impressed. The bartenders make the best martinis and Manhattans you'll find, along with a seasonal cocktail menu that features something for everyone, including mocktails. When I don't want a full dining experience but the hubs and I have a babysitter, we like to sit at the bar for martinis and oysters - SO FRESH! If you don't do oysters, anything on the appetizers list is a wonderful light bite. I don't know what kind of magic the chef uses to make the salads but they are always simple, yet stunning. For dinner, the steak is hard to pass up if you eat red meat. I usually get the single serving NY strip, which is incredible. You can't go wrong. I'm excited to try the porterhouse for 2. My mollusk loving friend raved about the mussels and the fish selection is fantastic. I'm not a big dessert person, but splitting any of the desserts is a treat. Alternatively, the digestif selection doesn't disappoint. The bartenders and bar manager, Nick, are helpful in guiding your taste buds to the right choice. Bud, the owner, whose previous establishments can be read about in some respectfully placed articles around the restaurant, is always accommodating for the busiest place in town. It's nearly impossible to get a seat on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9, but he will be honest and create a space at one of the little side bar areas if he can. The ambiance is sexy and sophisticated with a touch of whimsy. The toilet paper holder in the restroom always makes me smile (IYKYK). Having been to this restaurant many times, you'll start to see familiar faces as there is now a strong regular crowd. The community and connections that I've found while at Lyonshare have enhanced my experience of living in Beacon. Oh, last thing - brunch is a can't miss, must do culinary event.

We shared the Butter and Blue salad, really well done. The fusilli Ferretto with lamb ragu was one of the best meals I've had in months. We shared a bottle of Madonna Dell Donno Barolo wine which was probably not the best choice for the sea bass but was an outstanding match for the lamb ragu. The cocktails and dessert were also perfectly done!

We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).
