I have had dental extractions performed by three highly renowned oral surgeons in three different cities: DC, San Francisco, and now Boston, and this is the first time of all those procedures that I was not in significant pain beyond two days afterward. Dr. Lucca is extraordinary. Not only does he have impeccable bedside manner but his kindness, grace, and compassion, especially during what was an emergency procedure for me were extraordinary. His surgical expertise is on another high level caliber entirely. I stopped taking pain medication on day two, and by day three I was in minimal pain. Given my past experiences, I was honestly so shocked that I scheduled a follow-up office visit just to make sure nothing had gone wrong because I *wasn't* in pain anymore. How oxymoronic is that? Dr. Lucca's precision that I could observe during my surgery (this was a local anesthesia surgery), his reassuring explanations, him answering my innumerable questions, and his calm demeanor completely changed what I expected from oral surgery. He truly made me feel at ease, reassured, and relaxed. For the first time ever, in that I can remember, I walked away from a dental extraction surgery experience feeling genuinely cared for instead of traumatized. That says everything. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the front office staff as well -- Raquel, Courtney, Bossie, and Hailee were all incredibly professional, caring, calming, and kind. I came into this office in intense pain with anxiety levels soaring higher than a kite, and every single person made me feel genuinely seen, heard, validated my feelings and pain, and made me feel cared for. That matters more than people realize, especially when you are facing oral surgery and already terrified. I am also seriously impressed by the office's technology and communication systems. You can text the office instead of calling, and they respond incredibly quickly, often within 15-30 minutes. As someone who dreads phone calls, that alone was amazing. I am never calling them again, it's only going to be all texts. Like how easy and amazing is that!!! I think all doctors' offices should employ this technology. It should become the standard in how we communicate with doctors instead of phone calls. Dr. Lucca's Oral Surgical practice truly has it all: an extraordinarily skilled surgeon (Dr. Lucca) paired with an exceptional support team. The follow-up care, attention to detail, compassion, professionalism, and surgical skill are simply unmatched. If you have dental anxiety, need an oral surgeon, or want meticulous, compassionate care from beginning to end, I cannot recommend Dr. Lucca and this practice highly enough. I just want to share my negative experience with this office and warn other possible clients. They…read moretold me that I have to pay upfront and that they bill my insurance afterwards and then I get reimbursed by the insurance. The consultation was billed to my dental insurance and I received a reimbursement (without the co-payment amount). Next I had to get a procedure. I was told the same thing. First I pay upfront, then they bill my health insurance, which will reimburse me. Yes, they may have said they are out of network but they did not tell me to call my insurance first to approve the procedure. When time past by and I did not get the reimbursement I checked with my health insurance and the claim was denied because it was not pre-aproved. Shouldn't they have told me I should call my insurance ahead of the procedure? Don't they deal with insurance providers all the time and should know of the steps? Or were they concerned the claim was going to be rejected and they did not want my business to go somewhere else where it was covered? Hum.... They make you sign a lot of legal papers that they say explains everything. By the way, after the procedure the doctor did not fix my problem and told me I could go see another doctor.

Here are the…read morehighlights: 1) Time from referral to emergency surgery was 4 days - first possible day after inflammation went down. 2) I was, in hindsight correctly, advised to remove all 4 wisdom teeth rather than one or two. 3) They were persistent in getting all the information from the referring dentist, called multiple times to correct data/gather more information. 4) Post op instructions were helpful. Advice was always forthcoming. With post-op concerns/symptoms, Dr Parisa responded to me 3 times - twice in an evening, and once during the weekend. 5) I was able to get same-day follow-up appointments. Trustworthy conduct and dependable care. I hope i don't need oral surgery again, but if i do, I would be back. One recommendation: I'd add more details to the post-op wisdom teeth removal guide they give to their patients. Sometimes verbal instructions are easy to miss or forget, especially with the struggles of first days of recovery.

After being called in to the room, again I was made comfortable and Dr. Hadidi explained the procedure to me again, even when the other one I talked with (I forgot her name my apologies!) for the consultation beforehand had said the same thing which was a positive in my book. I was very nervous when they sedated me but they were very nice about it and one of them wiped the tears from my eyes while it was happening, haha thank you!! Woke up after and was very disorientated but was still coherent. The doctor called me up in the evening to check on me, he was very professional and kindly informed me that I could remove the gauze since it was my saliva causing me to look like I was bleeding.

They are highly skilled clinically, and also surprised me positively with their patient care. I was anxious, but Bang and Cheryl surprisingly calmed me down with their presence and energy, before sedation had even started. Cheryl stood by me throughout the whole thing, she cared for me with such kindness and humanity. I have not experienced any pain or discomfort afterwards, even before taking the medication prescribed. The team also provided me with an after-care step-by-step sheet and 3 different prescriptions (pain medication and antibiotics). They also prescribed me a post-surgery mouth-wash. I left feeling not only relaxed and glad, but also feeling pampered and happy. I'm truly genuinely grateful and will 100% recommend this place!

I went to them for deep cleaning, a barbaric procedure I had done once thirty years ago. Added expense ? Impeccable! Just what I needed for a pain free procedure. And no postoperative pain . A perfect 10!

And she's really balanced about it. I've never felt pushed into any decision, and equally never felt like she was too busy to take care of something. If she has time, she gives it to you. And if she doesn't, she and her staff have always been fantastic at figuring something out so you can get it taken care of soon and conveniently. I've been a patient for 7 years. I used to work near her office, so it was convenient, but not anymore. Despite that, I'm happy to make the trek into the city to see Dr. Aiken because I know I'm getting excellent care from someone who cares. I can say that about her staff, too.

While I was with the hygienist cleaning my teeth Dr Aiken came in and asked what was going on-I told her and she said let me take a look. I'm in my 40s and thought I was going to be in for a terrible time since I waited so long to get my wisdom teeth taken care of. Dr. Feldman and her team are great. Her office is super responsive and I didn't have to wait long for the surgery. Her new space in Arlington is beautiful. The procedure itself was a BREEZE. I opted to be completely sedated, so all I experienced was walking in, having a nice chat with the doctor, passing out, and waking up (happily?) with four fewer teeth. The worst part of the experience was the mouth gauze (ugh, gag), but I was able to ditch that pretty soon after I got home. BUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE: I work in a medical setting, and I know that drug protocols and pain control can make or break the immediate post-op experience for a patient. Homegirl has her drugs dialed in. I was *literally* pain free for the first 48 hours after the procedure. I had to remind myself to take ibuprofen regularly to keep the inflammation down, because I didn't need it for pain right away. YES, OF COURSE, it's not comfortable to have four bleeding holes in your mouth. But it's a heck of a lot more pleasant when the worst part of your recovery is pain free, and you only start to experience the discomfort when you're over the hump. Dr. Feldman takes what should be a terrible and traumatizing experience and turns it into something that's extremely manageable. I hope I never see her again, and I am also recommending her to everyone who has also procrastinated their dental care.

Office futuristic and everyone is super professional. Went to get an implant placed. It was a bit on the pricey side and had to postpone, but in the process Dr Nevine discovered an issue with another of my tooth and recommended to take care of it with my primary doctor. Till this day thankful to him for saving my tooth, the issue was one of the root canals done 7-8 years back started to decays inside. My primary doctor couldn't see anything wrong with their equipment I insisted and provided the scan from Dr Nevine. Dr Alyassi from BD performed the procedure and after opening the canals found that we were literally couple of months away from this tooth being a goner.
