Terrible coffee. The first cup we ordered of basic drip was luke warm and very bitter. We asked them to brew a new pot, and they were accommodating but the second cup was only marginally better than the first, but at least it was hot. And the egg bites were cold. I'd skip this one. read more

I dropped my daughter off at school and ran to Costco only to find out they didn't open for another 25 minutes so I was trying to decide how to kill some time and saw a beans and brews in the parking lot. The staff greeted me and was helpful and even made recommendations. I ordered a hash brown waffle and a 16 oz cafe mocha. The hash brown waffle was flavorful and quite yummy (forgot to take a pic). I would have preferred it a little bit more crispy but overall it was good. My mocha was perfectly made. I usually have to ask for extra chocolate at most coffee shops but I forgot and was pleasantly surprised as it was the perfect amount of chocolate. I parked and ate my waffle and enjoyed the rest of my coffee as I walked through Costco. Such a great and tasty experience, I will definitely be back! read more

They are not very fast getting food or beverages out but I think they have the best bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwiches.

Very very dirty, not sure I even want to drink the drinks I paid for. Took the time to get off the interstate to find a coffee. The bathrooms had not been cleaned for weeks if not months. Health department needs to pay a visit. read more

Went through drive through, person taking the order wasn't very clear in communicating. I ordered a monkey milk and I said it twice, they didn't repeat it back nor tell my price (I meant to spend the 3$ something specifically, to not go negative in my account) got my card swiped, no receipt than got the beverage (still no receipt) beverage is hot and I figure maybe they serve it that way unless you say cold IDK, got to my destination and it's A RANDOM COFFEE. I don't drink coffee, I'm all about the monkey milk. Next I cChecked my account.. charged more than I intended to spend and no I have a 30$ fee for a negative balance. I'm just bugged that the service was lacking surety about what I was ordering, no repeating it back, no receipt and ultimately the wrong item. I paid for something more than intended. Beans and brews is great but today the service failed. I don't even know what this drink is so 35$ later... Jesus. read more

Appearing understaffed but always overwhelmed, I'm not sure why this location struggles so bad when other BnBs do fine. Even if there's not a car ahead of you, you are going to be waiting minimum five minutes for your order. It's not uncommon to have to wait 10 to 15 minutes if there is a single car ahead of you. The staff is hit and miss with friendliness, either eagerly asking how your days going, or emotionless and cold when taking your order. Speaking of cold, t's always a toss up on if the drinks are going to be hot and delicious or cold and lacking flavor (sometimes not even the right drink). The one consistent is they never put sleeves on their hot drinks, and we always have to ask. I give the location a 3 and not lower only because the staff that is friendly appears to truly be trying. A few adjustments would easily put this location at a higher rating, here's to hoping. read more

I love this Beans and Brews! I drive 25 min from Saratoga Springs over here because they get it right every time! Liv is absolutely amazing and always so nice. Theo and Hailey are also great! Great place! They make the best Revolver with an add shot and 6 Splendas! They actually put in all the espresso shots I pay for! read more

This has to be the worst coffee shop I've been to. The seats and tables are disgusting. It was roughly 80 degrees inside. The outlets didn't work. And the employees were in the very back and they were understaffed. read more

Sorry, I can't give this place a good rating. Strike 1: I have an allergy to dairy and oats. I called multiple times to see ahead if they had dairy alternatives. No answer. Not once. (Once I got there I asked about the phone, barista said they were busy. I looked around the place, only one other person was there.) Strike 2: they did have dairy alternatives, among them, oat milk (which I am really, really allergic to). I asked if they would rinse the frappe machine for me (just wanted a frappe with coconut milk) because of my allergy. She refused. Strike 3: I decided I'd just get a drip. Dark roast. Didn't have any left. Didn't offer to make a new one. Sorry, but this just wasn't a good experience. I know not everyone can accommodate my allergy needs, but I tried to call ahead and all I asked for was a simple rinse. For those with allergies, look elsewhere. read more

This is the worst coffee place. Do not go to the American Fork location. The late I ordered was just steamed milk no espresso shots at all. The girl handed it to me and I asked her if there were any shots in it, her response after her eye roll was... I think so. Ps she just made it, so either yes, or no. I am so sick of lousy service and rude people. There is no shots in the drink so I asked her politely to add them in. It comes with 2 but it's clear based on this drink she gave me there is only 1. Karma is a beautiful thing, what she puts out comes back so i can only let it go at that. Don't plan on getting anything but crap service from the people who work at this store. Oh and crap product. I will just go further down the road to Starbucks they are so much better! As I read these reviews I guess bad service is a theme for this place. read more

I sat in line at this coffee place where people order only drinks and small snacks and pastries for over 30 minutes in their drive-thru. This is because they are so incompetent, they can't figure out how to serve a customer. Thank the Lord the person behind me in the drive-through also didn't want to wait their whole lifetime for a cup of coffee and backed out so I could leave. They let us know their frozen latte machine has been having issues so they were happy to remake our drinks and make them right for us. Closer to 2.5 stars. Ordered a 16 oz latte which was on the expensive side compared to what I'm used to but whatever. I think that the person who served me took my money and then started making my drink without washing her hands between, which is a little gross. The latte itself was made properly, without the espresso tasting off and the milk was steamed to the correct temperature, but the proportions were off: honestly, I feel like I ordered myself a steamed milk with a slight coffee aftertaste. In Utah County it can be very difficult to find coffee...even coffee from that big national chain. I have never had a bad experience at this Beans &Brews. The employees are fast, efficient, and always kind to my 7 year old. My daughter would like to add that they run out of chocolate doughnuts too quickly for her, but they have other treats that pair well with her Monkey Milk. read more

Went through the drive thur here this morning. When I ordered the employee got a little confused what I wanted but clarified it with me so it was good. Price is good for what you get. Little cheaper cost than Starbucks and MUCH BETTER! It's not the best coffee house around but I like it better then Starbucks and Beanys which are your other 2 choices near this location. Guy at the window was super friendly and they were super fast making my drinks. Once really good about the drinks too is the whip cream!! Like bam! It's not no cheap whip cream some quality stuff. 8/22/2016 Beans & Brews American Fork-Lehi (next to Costco) First time giving this place a go. The hotness of the coffe was so-so. The taste was decent. Loyalty card or not, refills are offered for a nominal fee. The shop itself gave off a somewhat quaint surrounding. Soft lighting, low murmers from the barista(s) and near-by patrons. Soft, upbeat retro lounge tunes surrounded us. As I write this, I spot a gentleman sipping his specialty beverage whilst reading what seems to be quite intriguing... Hmm... WiFi is complimentary; however, streaming is a no go (at least that's what a few of us are experiencing) Although Starbucks is a stone's throw, all in all I shall more than likely return. read more

I usually prefer this place over Starbucks but I went inside for the first time and their service was terrible. My food was cold and almost inedible. It took them way too long to make the drinks and I had to go up and ask. The coffee was really good though as always. read more

This is a great coffee shop, they have excellent tea as well, and most locations have free wifi too. Staff is always friendly, and at least in this part of town they are easy to find ( locations ). The locations are fairly comfortable, probably the same as most Starbuck locations. Pastries are pretty typical. read more

I waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. I was the third car in line and by the time the car at the window got their drinks it had been 30 minutes. Several cars came and left behind me. Then when it was my turn the cashier was very curt and had no apologies for the wait. Told me my drinks would be right out and then I waited another 8 minutes for them. I just left beans and brews less then pleased. I go to beans and brews all over the state and I have NEVER been treated so rude. Where is the customer service these days. I tried to order a butter bomb like I do at every other beans and brews and the manager on duty said we don't have those. You will have to get something else. And when I tried to explain what was in the drink she argued with me. She told me that they don't do that at this store because they are a corporate store and not a franchise. I'm sorry but WHAT? When I came in I was greeted by smiling faces and the girls made me feel very welcome. I'm not from the area so they helped me find a drink similar what I get back home. I was even told that if I didn't like how it tasted they would make me something else for free (It tasted amazing on the first try). They talked to me and asked me about my day and where I was from and kept a great conversation while they made my drink. Cam and Amaya really made this place stand out and gave me a fun experience for a simple coffee trip. Never been disappointed by this place. I used to be a Starbucks fan, but I've been turned. Their prices are better and their beans aren't burned. Met a friend today but wasn't feeling like something super sweet, but wanted to avoid super bitter. Employees are mostly friendly. Unfortunately, friendliness doesn't make up for bad service or missed orders. About 75% of my drive through orders have been mixed up, and I didn't receive what I ordered. Inside the situation gets worse. Their equipment sounds like it's one day away from blowing up, and the employees seem to have little motivation to be either efficient or competent enough to keep the coffee makers working (or even perform maintenance on the machines). I will never ever patronize this particular beans and brews again. Loathe as I am with Starbucks, I'd rather give them my money than throw it down this particular money pit. read more
