Interesting Menu, Disappointing Execution Hash Kitchen has the right ingredients for a great breakfast spot. A well located, nicely designed space in the heart of Draper with a menu creative enough to make you want to come back and work your way through it. The execution on my first visit, however, did not quite match the ambition. First practical tip: join the waitlist before you leave home. This place is consistently busy on weekends and walking in cold means a long wait before you even sit down. We sat outside, which would have been great had the service kept up. It did not. Our waitress was largely absent and at one point I had to physically stand up and flag her down to get attention. That should never happen regardless of how busy the floor is. The Birria Hash was too greasy, the quesadilla spared on cheese, and the consommé arrived cold. The biscuits were fine, nothing more. Three stars for now, the menu is interesting enough that I am willing to give it another visit, the potential is there.

My cousin and her husband drive through town, and we wanted to try a brunch place. This was a very authentic place to have brunch. It served coffee right on the spot, had a build your own Bloody Mary bar just like they do in the south, and each corner of the place was decorated with the different details. It was a very upbeat place and I can see why it is always busy. The wait was about 10 minutes which was not bad considering that there were groups of people waiting outside . The service was good! I will definitely be back to get my cozy brunch that reminds me of home!

The food was delicious, the only thing I wouldn't order again in the bacon, one piece and it didn't taste as good as I was hoping for. Servers were nice and brought out food relatively quick. It has a good breakfast vibe in the restaurant but is usually full so get in the waiting list!

Absolutely loved this place! The vibes are fun, modern, and energetic without feeling cramped--super comfortable and spacious, making it the perfect spot for a brunch date with friends. The food? Chef's kiss. The Breakfast Sandwich was hands-down the star of the table, with perfectly crispy hashbrowns and the most delightful, velvety hollandaise sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The mimosa flights were a blast (variety + flavor = win), and the interactive donut bar added such a playful, indulgent touch to the experience. A live DJ kept the energy up and made the whole brunch feel like a mini celebration rather than just a meal. If you're looking for a lively brunch spot with amazing food, great drinks, and an upbeat atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers. Can't wait to go back!

The chef really knows how to scramble eggs. they were delicious. They were not overcooked but still slightly creamy ! Nobody cooks eggs right anymore so it was great to find someone who knows how to scramble eggs !

Pros: Fun upbeat, food presentation is great. Friendly staff. Very creative concept and atmosphere. Service was great! Awesome donut bar and Bloody Mary bar. Cons: the stingiest dressing servings I have ever seen (maybe 1 Tbsp) and they up charged for more. The most underwhelming salad for the price. It's almost a side salad. It's also SO LOUD. Club vibes. Incredibly overpriced, don't order a salad. I should've snapped that picture. Also the chicken tinga was so dry.

Hash Kitchen - Utah's Brunch Party Hot Spot! 264 E 12300 S, Draper, UT 84020 Fun * Flavorful * Full of Personality What a fun find! Hash Kitchen is brunch with a heartbeat -- bright, loud, and full of good vibes. The place oozes personality from the moment you walk in. It's like your favorite breakfast joint leveled up with a DJ, creative cocktails, and over-the-top plating that screams "take a pic before you dig in." What Makes It Pop The Bloody Mary Bar is next-level -- seriously one of a kind. You can build your own masterpiece with all the fixings, from bacon to pickles to spicy rim salts. And that Donut Bar? Sweet, colorful fun that brings out everyone's inner kid. Their menu takes brunch classics and cranks up the creativity. It's two steps above IHOP or Black Bear Diner -- more flair, better presentation, and definitely more Instagram-worthy. Vibe Check It's the perfect spot for brunch with friends or family -- upbeat but still comfortable. Service was friendly, the music kept the energy going, and the food came out fresh and flavorful. Why 4 Stars The only reason I didn't go full five is that it can get loud and crowded, especially during peak brunch hours. But honestly, that's part of the fun if you're in the mood for a social, high-energy morning out. Final Take Hash Kitchen is pure brunch happiness -- playful, creative, and guaranteed to start your day with a smile (and maybe a buzz ). If you're in Utah and want something that feels like a mini-vacation before noon, this is your spot. Must-try: Bloody Mary Bar + Donut Bar combo. Bring your camera -- and your appetite.

I was so excited when this spot opened up, but then the early reviews weren't super promising. Thankfully by the time we rolled in, the kinks had been sorted out. We were REALLY impressed with our experience. Our service was great. The inside is really cool and modern. It's an exciting (somewhat noisy) environment, and I didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone with our toddler. My son and I did the donut bar which was so fun. I had French toast with bacon, eggs, and hash browns. The hash browns blew my mind. We haven't had the opportunity to come back yet, but we absolutely will be back.

First time in Utah and my son and I stumbled upon this gem. They had as my son described it "the best fried chicken wings he's ever had in his life!" He devoured the entire plate of chicken and waffles as if he had just gotten off of a deserted island. Mind you, this child is extremely picky and would rather starve than eat food he doesn't like. He ate the entire serving and kept raving about it. The birria hash was also excellent. I don't even like potatoes but the smashed potatoes in the hash were the best potatoes I've ever had. The birria was tasty and went great with the consommé, egg and tortilla. The service was impeccable. Our server was extremely attentive. The restaurant had a fun vibe, was well decorated and had cool music playing!Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an amazing brunch!

The vibes are immaculate! Kinda reminds me of those touristy places you would see in Miami. Very fun ambience! The food is great as well and surprisingly good. One of the better "hip" breakfast spots in Utah!

I love the environment of this place, it's so fun and pretty but I wish they had more to their menu. I feel limited on my options and with beverages as well. Service was a little slow, took awhile to get our things like sauce and drinks. Overall it's a decent brunch spot.

This place is awesome! Loads of parking! We joined the waitlist through yelp for a group of 5 so had very minimal wait. Decor is super awesome! Our waitress was very nice. They DO NOT serve alcohol until 1030a so we had to wait to order the fun drinks. And they have sooooooooo many fun drinks!!! The cotton candy glitter is super cool! And they have a ton of flavors for mimosas! Loads of food options! Waffles were soft and excellent! Can't wait to come back and try something else! Such a fun brunch place!!!!

Good food and vibes. There's a live DJ on the weekends. Wait wasn't too bad for it being a weekend. Their carnitas hash was delicious! Good mix of flavors and had a little kick. Their avocado toast is HUGE! Everything we ordered was great. They have a donut and Bloody Mary bar. Bloody Mary is a must. By far one of the best I've had. Overall it was a great new spot, delicious food and drinks.

The new interior refresh is nice, modern, and inviting...and a pleasant departure from the typical Indian restaurant... Although I think some modern cultural artwork, paintings, and decorations would be very fitting as an add-on to the Jalwa restaurant. Our waiter was very pleasant (although he spoke in hushed tones...and it was difficult to hear him.) He also got a little confused as to what we were looking for with respect to just wanting the papadums with chutney (which is a standard appetizer at most Indian restaurants that we've patronized,) but instead we got vegetable pakora with chutney and just plain papadums on the side. Hmmmm. Nevertheless, it was all delicious. My wife's main entree was the butter chicken, and we both shared a saag aloo. I had my go-to chicken vindaloo, and it was delicious. The portion sizes are humongous, which is a nice departure from the typical Indian restaurant where you pay $15 and get maybe half the bowl that Jalwa provides. Overall, an excellent experience and will be back to patronize more often. Oh, and they're newly updated and revised menu is awesome! Dozens and dozens of options. It took us at least 10 minutes to get through it all to figure out what we wanted! Four stars for good food (and plenty of it), good service, and a nice new atmosphere as compared to Aroma. Absolutely recommend!

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. The restaurant is beautiful with fancy light up menus which is needed because it's pretty dark inside. I ordered the beef ribs and my husband ordered the picanha. Both came out extremely tough and chewy. My daughter had to spit out her bite because she got tired of chewing so we had to cut each piece into 1/2 cm pieces for it to be palatable. I've been to Brazilian steak houses before and beef ribs are usually the most tender and flavorful especially when there is bone. The server did say it was going to on the chewy side but I didn't think he was serious. Like why would you make meat intentionally chewy? For a $50 dish that came with no sides and worse than what we've made at home it's pretty disappointing. We also ordered a side of the grilled veggies which had some veggies that were so bitter and others that were undercooked and no seasoning. The purple yams were decent and the coquettes but again the pricing for each was exorbitant. Also because they have a somewhat open kitchen style concept the dining room got extremely hot and we were just dying to get out quickly. For two entrees, two sides, one app, a bottle of water and glass of wine a bill of $225 was not worth it. Sadly not a great experience.

I mean it in the true sense of the word. Outstanding job kitchen. I had fish and chips. Bite sized nuggets of fresh, never frozen Cod. This is the best fish and chips I've had in Utah. Come see for yourself. The chips are in house made potato chips and that fry sauce is not your typical recipe. I'd drink this as a shake. Don't judge me but I had an order of smoked wings with Thai Chili sauce and the other half with spicy BBQ... blue cheese dip with fresh carrots and celery. Delicious food! Wow! The liquor is top shelf. I like bourbon and this place has a Blanton's! And Whistle Pig and Jameson 18 and the list goes on and one. They've been open five weeks and if they keep this up, I see only success with this location. Good for you guys. bout time. Rock Stars- Adam behind the bar and Rebecca, the fantastic server. Yes! Oh! I got a pizza to go. I4 toppings... $16!!! I've paid twice that at two pizzas chains. Highly recommend this new spot in Draper.

Plenty of draft options and a ton of cans/bottles to choose from. Great sports bar vibe with buku TVs to watch whatever event you want. Do yourself a favor and get the Monte Cristo Egg Rolls. Deep fried deliciousness. I have also had the Cobb salad which weighs about 2 lbs. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Paige is an amazing bartender that takes care of me every time I'm here. And if you're in around lunch time, find Sonny and buy him a drink and thank him for his service.

The Magic Touch Is Still Very Much Alive It had been a while…read moresince my last visit, and coming back to Penny Ann's Cafe in Draper was a genuinely pleasant surprise. Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.
