The MOAB sandwich. A bit of everything and absolutely fantastic!
    Lu G.

My new favorite breakfast place in Utah valley. I've visited at least half a dozen times in the last six months and would recommend arriving before 9:30-10 am so as to avoid the waiting list. Wednesdays are also extremely busy as families drop by prior to dropping their children off at the MTC. Still, lots of seating, busy, family friendly, and excellent staff. I've tried a variety of menu items and have yet to be disappointed. Servings are large and delicious. One of my personal favorites is the hot chocolate. Even though it's not the season it's rich and irresistible. I've sometimes ordered a second cup simply because it is too tasty to resist! The only down side to TRUreligion is that they close midafternoon. I can only fantasize about how much I'd enjoy the dinners, given my fondness for their breakfasts.

This place was so fun. I'd totally return. Such a big portion size for reasonable prices. I think you can split a plate if you really wanted. The smores hot chocolate was good. I got the Moab sandwich which is just massive and fun. It's a meal that doesn't have a ton of flavor but more is just a nice big portion of meat or biscuit or sausage. And then dipping sauces make it fun. There was gravy tho. Hey, it all tasted great! Claire was a super nice server. She was sweet and took care of us well.

We had a really enjoyable breakfast here. The staff was kind, and the food was delicious across the board. For a psuedo appetizer, we ordered a cinnamon roll for the table with extra frosting... Everyone should do this... I ordered the Monte Cristo, and it was fantastic! It's made with French toast as the "bread," stuffed with scrambled eggs, ham, and swiss cheese. It comes with a raspberry sauce that's a perfect complement to the savory sandwich. The hash browns were a highlight too--perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Just how I like them. My son got the Classic breakfast with pancakes, bacon, and we added a side of bananas and cream. He loved it, especially the bacon, which was perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. My wife tried the kids French toast meal (one egg, bacon, hash browns, and a slice of French toast). While she enjoyed it, she found the French toast itself wasn't as soft or fresh as she was hoping for. She tried my son's pancakes and said those were much better. Our only hiccup was the service. Our waiter was great and very attentive when we first arrived, but as the meal wrapped up, he was a bit hard to find. It took us a surprisingly long time to get the check after we were finished eating. Despite the slow exit, the food was great, and we'll definitely be back! Don't forget to jump on their waitlist if you are coming on the weekend before 12-1.

    S'more What?!

My incredibly handsome partner would not stop raving about this place, especially when it came to their bacon. We finally had the chance to go on a date here, and boy he wasn't kidding. Truly some of the best bacon I've ever had. We were also extremely satisfied with the baja ben "addiction", Mediterranean omelet, and the sweet crèpe. My personal favorite was the S'more What?! hot cocoa. Make sure to get on the waitlist ahead of time as it can get very long, but just know that it is definitely worth the wait!! Absolutely scrumptious, can't wait to return.

This was my second visit since 2019 and it held up from my first impression. Very good! The waitlist can get crazy so make sure you check that before you head down. They also have covered outdoor seating that is heated and we felt very comfortable even on a winter day! I got an orange juice (it's unreal) and the avocado toast. Every bite was perfection. The bacon was crispy, the egg was a perfect over easy, the sauce and avocado and arugula was so well dressed! I can't stop thinking about it even now. My kiddo also got the he French toast breakfast and ate every bite including the scrambled eggs which he is sometimes medium on and even he said he really liked the eggs! So a very good visit!

Server took over 10 minutes to greet us. Another table came in after us and got their food ordered before we did. Food came out fast which is good. The waitress did not apologize once for the slow service today. Other people got up and talked to the hostess about it as well. Overall a bad experience.

Absolutely the worst experience. We ordered the steak and eggs with a ribeye. Nowhere on the menu did it state that this dish included bacon, unlike the other steak options. When the steak arrived, it had bacon on it, which I cannot eat, so we sent it back. After waiting another 25 minutes, a replacement steak was brought out, and it was completely raw. We specifically asked for medium. What we received was unacceptable and honestly disgusting. Will definitely make sure I repost this on my Social really upset me Typing this while waiting for the 3rd one to come out . As if I have time when I already waited 2.5 on the waiting list unreal

**this review is for 12/21/24** We were just visiting and looking for a brunch spot in the area. Luckily, we came across here and glad we did! We made a last minute reservation but still had to wait around 35 min for a table because it was a busy weekend. Our server was very friendly and helpful with our questions of the menu. The fresh grapefruit juice was very good, the coffee wasn't too bad, pancakes were normal, and the Western omelet I got was good. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would recommend to anyone visiting.

We went for lunch because breakfast foods sounded really good. It did not disappoint! The portions are generous. The servers are also kind too. I shared the monte cristo with my husband. It had juicy ham and crispy French toast and the cheese melted and it was delicious. The sweet that was added when you dipped in the jelly was an amazing addition. My son had the traditional breakfast with eggs bacon hasbrowns and pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly. He absolutely loved the bacon! Their buttermilk syrup on the pancakes was also a highlight! The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. It felt old timey and homey! If you haven't tried it, you should!

Fresh squeezed OJ - very tasty. And a mug of water that takes two hands to operate.

Top notch breakfast! Got a senior plate (with a military discount - I'm retired military) - scrambled egg, slice of bacon, hash browns, and a blueberry pancake. Terrific price for a terrific meal. Service was friendly and fast. Ambiance - charming decor and clean. I was going to do iHOP, but never again. TRU may be my go-to breakfast place now in Utah Valley.

What are your gluten free breakfast dishes?

They have a keto blast that is eggs, fresh sliced avocado, pico de gallo and chicken (you can sub with steak too) that is really tasty!

Can't seem to get a hold of them over the phone. Are they taking orders over the phone? Thanks!

They are taking takeout orders over the phone! Sometimes they are extremely busy (aka 1-hour waits or longer), so it might take a while for them to get to the phone as they seat guests and put them on the waitlist.

Do they have gluten free items on their menu?

Yes. They have omelettes and breakfast meats and Hashbrowns and juices and things like that.

Are you able to make reservations ahead of time for a large party (roughly 12 people)?

Yes but they do not take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays.

    Is breakfast served all day?

Yes, the menu is breakfast/brunch items

The Lehi location is consistently packed, and walking in without a spot means you will be standing around for a while. It is that popular for a reason. One thing nobody warns you about: it is freezing inside, bring a sweater. The Dutch Treat is what you should order. It is a beautifully done pancake served with a strawberry sauce on the side that is genuinely excellent. Rich, fresh flavor that elevates the whole dish. I order it every single time. It also comes as a combo with two eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. Speaking of bacon, ask for it extra crunchy. They nailed it, perfectly crisp without crossing into burned territory. The scrambled eggs were slightly overcooked, so tell your server exactly how you want yours before they head to the kitchen. They are friendly enough that it is an easy ask. We added toast and two drinks and the total came to around $36 for two people. Not cheap for breakfast, but this is not a fast food situation. It is a real sit down experience with quality ingredients and a staff that actually seems happy to be there. If you are looking for a breakfast spot in the Lehi area, this is it.

But then came the steak, which was flat-out the best I've had in years. No notes. Here's the thing though, I'm not a gnocchi person. Never have been. Our server talked me into it anyway, and I'm genuinely grateful. It's a short rib and stew situation with gnocchi that somehow hits every note perfectly. Total convert now. And the s'mores pie to close out the night? Simply perfect. Don't skip it. The service was great too, our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us exactly right.

However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

When we arrived and sat down, we were greeted by Joe telling us that "House rules, you're not allowed to order the same item". Lol. Love that guy! We both ordered Denver omelets, one without onions, extra mushrooms, French toast, and grits and one without mushrooms, hash browns, and pancakes. First off, the pancakes were amazing! They're light, had crispy edges, and had a wonderful flavor. But the best thing was it was in the shape of little donuts, which was a nice surprise. Our entrees came but were somehow got switched. We didn't realize it at first but both were still good. Unfortunately, my wife put Chalula on hers and I put Tobasco on mine and we don't like each other's choice of condiments. The other unfortunate thing was that I had an eggshell in my omelet. Even though we had these misfortunes you can't hide the flavor of these dishes and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My grits were too sweet today. If it's too sweet for me, it must've been really sweet. The only other criticism I saw was that they were filling the syrup bottles from large Log Cabin jugs. They also were using Idahoan shredded potatoes from a large carton. I can understand the potatoes but how great would it be to have freshly made syrup.
