I ate here after a friend gave it a rave review. So, I had high expectations. Despite my high expectations, my experience EXCEEDED my expectations by a good margin. The restaurant was well decorated. Each booth and individual bar seats had coat hooks. I think that is a nice touch. The restaurant is clean, including the restroom (I can only comment on the male restroom). The server was great - very friendly and very helpful in deciding what to order. My daughter was craving biscuits and ordered one. While I am not a connoisseur of biscuits, I will say it is the best I have ever had. The quality of the food was first rate - taste, presentation, and serving size for the price. The kitchen deserves better service TRU Religion has the kind of food that makes you want to come back despite yourself, which is the only explanation for why I keep returning even when the front of house continues to test my patience. We came on a weekday morning, no waiting list needed, and were seated immediately. Promising start. Then we waited ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, in a restaurant that was not crowded and appeared to be well staffed. This is not a one time observation. The gap between being seated and actually being served has been a recurring theme across multiple visits, and at some point a pattern stops being a coincidence and starts being a logistics problem that needs fixing. When the food finally arrived it reminded me exactly why I keep giving this place another chance. The crepes with berries and mascarpone were delicate and well executed, though the kitchen could afford to be more generous with both the berry sauce and the mascarpone. The portion is on the modest side, which worked fine for me personally but may leave hungrier diners wanting more. The traditional omelet was the star of the visit, specifically the jalapeño wrapped in bacon that comes with it. It was exceptional and the kind of detail that shows real kitchen creativity. My only complaint is that there is only one. There should be at least two. The cinnamon roll is enormous, which is its own form of commitment, but the dough ran a little dry this visit compared to previous experiences. An off day perhaps, but worth noting. Three stars, and every one of them belongs to the kitchen. Sort out the service flow and this place jumps immediately. read more

I have a train service animal that accompanies me almost everywhere. On June 10 I arrived at the restaurant which was not busy and was told that I would be required to sit on their outside patio because of my service animal. When I reminded them that they are in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act, the manager, Mirta Solis just shrugged and said that's the policy. Now, if it were a crowded restaurant I could definitely understand them, offering me a seat on the patio. However, it is 50°, I'm dressed in shorts and a T-shirt, and I would be uncomfortably chilly having to sit outside. Regardless of my comfort, this is still of course, a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Service dog handlers beware, this is not a restaurant in compliance with the ADA. I will be filing a complaint with the department of justice, if this happens to you, I highly recommend you do the same. read more

We made a reservation for a large group, called to ask if we could arrive early. They said no. Then right before we got there the manager gave one of our tables to another group. This caused us to have to wait for almost 30 more minutes past our reservation time before we could be seated. Frankly the service by the manager was terrible, she needs to learn how to seat and time large groups. That being said Our waiter was awesome, super nice guy, he was cool, fast, nice. But every time we come here the wait (for those who have reservations) is always super long and usually it takes a while for food to arrive. Food is delicious, love the food. This place was so fun. I'd totally return. Such a big portion size for reasonable prices. I think you can split a plate if you really wanted. The smores hot chocolate was good. I got the Moab sandwich which is just massive and fun. It's a meal that doesn't have a ton of flavor but more is just a nice big portion of meat or biscuit or sausage. It comes with a raspberry sauce that's a perfect complement to the savory sandwich. The hash browns were a highlight too--perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Just how I like them. ​My son got the Classic breakfast with pancakes, bacon, and we added a side of bananas and cream. He loved it, especially the bacon, which was perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. ​My wife tried the kids French toast meal (one egg, bacon, hash browns, and a slice of French toast). While she enjoyed it, she found the French toast itself wasn't as soft or fresh as she was hoping for. She tried my son's pancakes and said those were much better. ​Our only hiccup was the service. Our waiter was great and very attentive when we first arrived, but as the meal wrapped up, he was a bit hard to find. Food is good. However the last experience at the front entrance with the three girls checking us in was less than stellar. We came Saturday the 19th around 11 and had been on the waitlist for a while before we even got to the restaurant. It was saying that we'd be sat around 5-15 minutes and it been stuck on that page for about 15/20 minutes. It also said to check in at the front. We went inside and said our name and immediately we were greeted with cold short responses and saying that the wait would be 35 more minutes. I'm fine waiting but what's the point of a waitlist online if it's inaccurate? And on top of it they were just super rude about it. Left a bad taste in my mouth which is a shame because this is a place we love to visit. It's really been a constant thing coming here since we first found this place years ago. The table service and food are amazing, but the front check-in experience has always been a struggle with inaccurate wait times and short-tempered service. read more

My incredibly handsome partner would not stop raving about this place, especially when it came to their bacon. We finally had the chance to go on a date here, and boy he wasn't kidding. Truly some of the best bacon I've ever had. We were also extremely satisfied with the baja ben "addiction", Mediterranean omelet, and the sweet crèpe. My new favorite breakfast place in Utah valley. I've visited at least half a dozen times in the last six months and would recommend arriving before 9:30-10 am so as to avoid the waiting list. Wednesdays are also extremely busy as families drop by prior to dropping their children off at the MTC. Still, lots of seating, busy, family friendly, and excellent staff. I've tried a variety of menu items and have yet to be disappointed. Servings are large and delicious. One of my personal favorites is the hot chocolate. Even though it's not the season it's rich and irresistible. I've sometimes ordered a second cup simply because it is too tasty to resist! The only down side to TRUreligion is that they close midafternoon. I can only fantasize about how much I'd enjoy the dinners, given my fondness for their breakfasts. read more

So delicious! We came here for my sister's engagement party and they were very accommodating to our group. Everything I tried was amazing! Let me do a quick run through for you: Biscuits and gravy--So good, reminded me of my grandma. Cooked well and had lots of yummy flavor. Avocado Toast--surprisingly hearty, usually I feed sad with the amount I pay for what I get. But there was plenty to go around! Burrito--scrumptious! I love a good burrito that is packed full of good food! Chicken and waffles--the house syrup was the shining star here, I couldn't get enough! Golden chicken and waffles too, it was very yummy. Biscoff French Toast--probably my all time favorite bite of the morning! Not too overly sweet either which was awesome, I do recommend getting it to split with someone then get some protein too ;) Strawberry lemonade--delightful and refreshing! Probably won't get again but wasn't bad one bit. I love how big their water cups are so they don't need to worry about constantly refilling our mugs. This was my second visit since 2019 and it held up from my first impression. Very good! The waitlist can get crazy so make sure you check that before you head down. They also have covered outdoor seating that is heated and we felt very comfortable even on a winter day! I got an orange juice (it's unreal) and the avocado toast. Every bite was perfection. The bacon was crispy, the egg was a perfect over easy, the sauce and avocado and arugula was so well dressed! I can't stop thinking about it even now. My kiddo also got the he French toast breakfast and ate every bite including the scrambled eggs which he is sometimes medium on and even he said he really liked the eggs! Absolutely the worst experience. We ordered the steak and eggs with a ribeye. Nowhere on the menu did it state that this dish included bacon, unlike the other steak options. When the steak arrived, it had bacon on it, which I cannot eat, so we sent it back. After waiting another 25 minutes, a replacement steak was brought out, and it was completely raw. We specifically asked for medium. What we received was unacceptable and honestly disgusting. It had juicy ham and crispy French toast and the cheese melted and it was delicious. The sweet that was added when you dipped in the jelly was an amazing addition. Having worked on the restaurant and catering business, this was a train wreck when it came to hostess navigation during a busy time and servers knowing how to manage tables. Even on waitlist we waited over an hour after being told we were the "next party" and watched multiple groups of varying sizes come in and get seated, almost in a random order. We sat at a table for over 20min before being greater by server and another 15 before we even got water. Food came out, but the order was mixed up, so 3 of our group of 6 had missing items or incorrect items. For the almost $20/person price tag on breakfast food, this was definitely not worth it. read more

I wanted to post regarding a very disappointing and concerning experience I had at this restaurant today involving a food allergy and the handling of my order. I ordered the avocado toast, which was listed as being topped with pico de gallo. Because I am allergic to cilantro, I specifically asked for no pico and requested my eggs over easy. When the meal arrived, the eggs were scrambled instead of over easy, so I politely asked for the eggs to be corrected. The replacement that was brought out was simply a separate plate of over easy eggs, which I swapped onto the original dish myself. After taking a bite, I realized there was still pico de gallo on the meal despite my allergy request. At that point, I informed the waitress, Mikayla, that I could not eat the dish because of the cilantro. I asked if the meal could be remade without pico, and I was told that was "not an option." Had I been informed of that when ordering, I would have chosen something else entirely. Instead, the solution offered was a new piece of toast and plain sliced avocado, with the suggestion that I scrape the toppings from the original toast onto the new one myself. Unfortunately, the pico had also been on top of the bacon, making portions of the meal inedible due to cross-contamination. As someone with a food allergy, it was extremely upsetting to take a bite into something I specifically stated I was allergic to. Thankfully my allergy is not life-threatening, but situations like this could be very serious for another customer. I ultimately asked for the item to be removed from the bill and left the meal untouched. Beyond the mistake itself, I was disappointed by how dismissively the situation was handled and by the lack of concern regarding a clearly communicated food allergy. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future allergy-related requests are handled with more care, communication, and professionalism. read more

True Religion Pancakes was a great surprise. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the start. I ordered the Biscoff French toast, and it was amazing. The French toast was perfectly fluffy, and I really appreciated that they didn't drench it in the sauce. The flavor was balanced and delicious on its own--I didn't even need maple syrup. This restaurant has been one of my favorite breakfast spots for years, which makes writing this review especially disappointing. It used to feel like more than just a place to eat. The familiar faces knew their regular customers, remembered preferences, and created a welcoming atmosphere that kept people coming back. Unfortunately, it seems management stepped in and made significant changes, causing the vibe to completely changed. Nearly all of the longtime servers who helped make this place special seem to be gone, replaced by new employees who are clearly trying hard but struggle to create the same connection with guests. The warmth and sense of community that once defined this restaurant have been replaced by a much more impersonal experience. My compliments to Alex and Taylor who always hit the mark. The waitlist process has also become unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. What was once simple and efficient now feels confusing and disorganized. Customers are left wondering where they stand, how long the wait will be, and whether anyone is actually managing the flow of guests effectively. While the food is still good, the overall experience is no longer what it used to be. The heart of this restaurant seems to be missing. As a longtime and FREQUENT customer, it's sad to see a place I once looked forward to visiting turn into something that feels unfamiliar and disconnected from the loyal patrons who helped support it over the years. I truly hope management takes a step back and recognizes what made this restaurant successful in the first place. We had a 45 minute wait the day we went. 8-10 minutes before our table was ready we went inside to wait. There were chairs next to the bar area. A local had asked if we were in line for the bar. We said no and asked about the bar area. The local joked that he didn't want to share his secret, but proceeded to inform us that the bar is first come, first serve. My friend and I were like, dang it! Had we known earlier we would have sat there because there were empty seats earlier lol. Thanks for not gate keeping gentleman. The food was so delicious. I was in town for the weekend and came here with the family I was visiting. They were lamenting how much they wanted to come here, but it was always so difficult to get a table. So we took our chances on a Saturday afternoon and stuck it out! There's ample parking in the lot and once inside, the hostess will direct you to a QR code posted in the window to join the wait list. Luckily, there was plenty of room to wait and it took about 20 minutes for our party of four to be seated. We were directed to the main dining room which actually, had plenty of open tables. Hmm! Our waiter came immediately for our drink order which came quickly and then took our requests. However, it was after then that we had to wait another 20 mins for our food so the party was getting hangry. Was it the service or the kitchen? We'll never know but the food eventually came and was delicious. My keto breakfast held me over well for the rest of the afternoon and would happily order it again (amongst other items)! I've tried every single one of their steaks and they've always been juicy, well flavored, and cooked perfectly to my preference. It's always very busy, so service is slower, but not terrible.
