When I lived in Ridgecrest, I came here for a morning cup of coffee when I had to get to work. Later in the day I would grab the monkey mocha, and let me tell you, I've done plenty of travelling and these fellas have it right- perfect. I could not find a coffee shop that makes it so perfect, with real banana and real peanut butter and the right ratio of flavors. There are some out there, I'm sure but, its a hard find. So everytime I come back west and pass through I come here for my monkey mocha. read more

Our second time here. Both times pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service and quality of product. We got a pour over that was fresh and delicious and a non dairy chai. Superb customer service, smiling faces and making sure we were pleased before we left. We are extremely fussy about getting a real good cup of coffee and Beansters supplies just that. Forego the chain and hit up this wonderful spot. You won't be disappointed. read more

Very disappointed. My husband ordered heavy cream latte for me. I could tell right away that it was not made with heavy cream. It seemed like it MAY have been breve, but it was pretty thin. I could have dealt with that, but it was BITTER!! I even tried to sweeten it, but that didn't help. After 3 sips I gave up, dumped it out and went to Starbucks. My husband ordered a coffee and said it was extremely weak and flavorless. He dumped his out too--just not worth drinking. Usually I like to give the little guy support but this was just bad. I've never actually dumped a latte out... On top of that, the service was terrible. He waited and waited for service and finally someone told him they'd be with him in a minute. They seemed preoccupied and disinterested and kind of ditzy. After he got his coffee he went over to the bar to add cream and sugar, but there was no cream--only flavored crap. He had to go back to the counter and had to try to get someone's attention. He asked if they had regular cream and they looked at him like he had two heads. They finally gave him a little container with Half & Half... I don't think they even have cream there! What kind of a coffee house doesn't have cream? read more

They staff is always willing to make me something new if I'm ready for something I normally don't get! The line drive thru line moves quick so don't be hesitant to stop when you see a line. Oh... how I love Beanster's. The girls who work here are always nice no matter how busy they are and the coffee is amazing! I would also suggest trying one of their lunch sandwiches, although I will admit.. I am a sucker for any sandwich that uses a croissant as bread. Beanster's has free wi-fi, definitely a plus, and a cute little seating area (that happens to seem bigger and nicer than the Starbucks in town). read more

Beanster's is a cute little coffee house that's convenient for me as I breeze into Ridgecrest from Inyokern at least three times a week. I love the drive-thru and the women working there are always friendly and more than willing and capable to get my order right. read more

The cashier was just rude and filled my cup up with ice to the point where she couldn't even poor the whole drink from the blender in the cup. You could just tell she was miserable. I just feel cheated for $6 you should get more than ice read more

Poor customer service:( Walked in and stood there while 3 employees chatted away. No acknowledgement, nothing. And then they took a drive-thru order! I just walked out after that. This happened on Monday, March 14 @10am. I don't see myself going back there anytime soon. read more

This is by far my favorite coffee I've ever had. I live out of town but will make special trips to Ridgecrest just for a blended Monkey Mocha (chocolate, peanut butter and banana). They have everything from lattes to unique combinations (Snickers, Milky Way, Almond Joy, etc). I also enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. Thank you Beanster's for making coffee that I crave so badly I will drive over 5 hours for! read more

When one coffee shop in town does really well the others seem to suffer. I am always waiting in the drive thru line here for what seems like an eternity. I went there one day with a friend and we pulled into the drive thru with only one other car in front of us. We were sitting behind that car for a little over ten minutes before the car drove away without ordering. Once we get to the window my friend decided to run inside to get a job application. I sat in the drive thru line at the window for 30 minutes before an employee that was sitting in the parking lot came inside and took my order. He told me my drink was free and apologized for my wait. That was nice of him but I didn't go through the drive thru line to wait for over 40 minutes for my drink. I'd rather pay full price if I know I'll get out of there in a reasonable time. I only waited because my friend was still inside. Another time I went I ordered a drink and a muffin and when I got to the second window I had to wait for almost 25 minutes for them to just give me my drink really quick and shut the window and walk away without giving me the muffin I paid for. I knocked on the window and no one came. There wasn't anyone behind me in line either. The price is a bit lower than pony but basically the same as Starbucks. The drinks can be good depending on who makes them. There is no consistency its hit or miss. read more

Beanster's has been my go-to place for coffee since moving to Ridgecrest. Their prices are pretty reasonable for most things, and the food is good. They're my alternative to Starbucks, which always has longer lines, and their coffee just tastes burnt. The only downside is that it's all the way on the edge of town, but I would still rather come here than go to one of the two Starbucks. read more

Customer service at its best here!! I paid for my salad, (which was delicious as usual). The cashier was super nice, I was in the drive through with a car in front and a car in back. The cashier came out, and gave me my salad, then he asked the car behind me to back up since my order was complete, so I can back out and leave. He was so nice! I wish I got his name. What a pleasant experience, and definitely what lots of businesses lack, a great friendly person on their payroll!! read more

I usually love going to local coffee houses. Beansters was my favorite go to for coffee. Went yesterday to get a coffee and there were three people working behind the counter, I was waiting to be served in the walk in portion of Beansters and I was in no hurry while they waited on the drive though window, one of the young ladies looked and me and did not say a word. Then the other worker looked at me and also ignored me. The two ladies went to the back and started a conversation. I stood there patiently while one of the girls again gave me eye contact and then turned away and perseded with her conversation. I waited at the counter and no one said a word to me. The two workers in the back knew I was waiting, but keeped with their conversation and would look up at me then turn away. I waved to one of the ladies with my hand to signal her that I was ready to order, because this had been going on for quite awhile and there was no one at their drive-up window. The worker looked right at me and gave me an anoid dirty look, turned away as the other lady looked at me and gave me the same dirty look. I would have walked out, but my friend had already recieved her drink and was waiting for me and I did not want to start our day out wrong. The male co-worker saw what was going on and came up to me and asked for my order. He also informed me about the free shot for the drink, I had forgotten that they did that for certain large drinks. The friendly service and good coffee is why I loved this place; also, supporting local businesses is what I like to do, but I also believe that if you do not get good service you should not give them your money, so this will be my last time I will be going to Beansters. read more

In the past I've gone to Beanster's on my way to work purely out of convenience due to the location and drive up window. They offer standard breakfast foods such as bagels and croissants, and also offer breakfast sandwiches which are yummy but also a bit pricy in my opinion. The coffee, however, has been subpar as of late. Two times ago I ordered a plain coffee and was disappointed in how weak it was. The last time I went, I ordered a Chai latte, which was extremely sweet, but I chalked it up to a new employee that was probably still learning the ropes. Today I ordered another Chai that tasted like a gas station cappuccino - sickeningly sweet and syrupy. I had to throw it out after only a couple of drinks. Next time I think I'll just stick with Starbucks. read more

Sit outside in good weather, cozy up inside in bad weather, and in winter always get the Christmas-in-a-cup, that is, hot Gingerbread Chai (they assume it's a latte... don't ask me why, but apparently saying "latte" after "chai" actually can confuse them...). read more

This coffee shop is very pleasant, features a good menu selection and a very nice lounge area complete with a fireplace and ample seating for groups. The strawberry-banana smoothie was excellent. I look forward to trying out other menu items. My colleague had been there twice that day and was a fan of it as well. An alternative to the ubiquitous Starbucks, conveniently located next to the movie theatre and adjacent to the Pizza Factory restaurant. read more

This is my favorite place to go for coffee or just to chat with friends. The hot mocha is my favorite and I get it with a free extra shot (yes, free people!). The monkey mocha is delicious for a blended drink. Occassionally you'll get a newer worker who doesn't make the drink quite the same so consistency can be an issue but overall great coffee! read more
