Delicious food. Staff was amazing!!! There was a mixup(my fault) but it was handled in such a professional manner, I was amazed.

Local resident, but first time here. Your 1 star comes from the Biscuits & Gravy that were actually pretty tasty. Everything else docked your points! The customer service was ridiculous - Employees speaking super loudly to other employees & not helping the customers in need. My drink cup looked like a million people drank from it the same day I did. It should atleast looked washed, but it didn't, at all. The Coca-Cola was flat as all heck, I couldn't get the lady's attention long enough to tell her. The chicken fried steak was disgusting, and it had a very bad smell. Roxanne's is my favorite place I town for grilled sandwiches. I love their Ruben. I get my pastrami on grilled rye. The cook places little pieces of pickle in the pastrami. What a great add-in. The patty melt on grilled rye is a winner. My favorite side is the potato salad. It is fresh. read more

We enjoyed everything about Roxanne's: taste of the food, cleanliness, and service. We had standard breakfast fare, and everything tasted great. I got chorizo eggs Benedict, which was a little different and very tasty. It was a bit rich so it maybe be helpful to have the hollandaise sauce on the side (or easy portion). read more

Ordered the western burger with onion rings. Onion rings quality like Carl's Jr Burger was flavorless and not a western burger. It had lettuce tomato and mayo and barely any bbq sauce. It was a good bun though. read more

I hadn't eaten here in a while and decided to try them out for breakfast. This used to be a cute little restaurant to have breakfast (Sunday brunch was the best!) and the food had always been really good. The remodeling makes it feel less like a restaurant attached to a hotel and more like a dining room for a hotel. Good wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Service was so-so. There was no background music or anything either and it was really echo-y in the room which made talking to my boyfriend strange and also got really loud when a large party came in. Overall, if you're staying at the hotel and want breakfast it's fine, but there are other places I'd rather go. read more

I hate to give it such a low grade as the waitress was very kind and helpful. However, here it goes, the room was about 60ﾟ... very uncomfortable, ok it was freezing but the free breakfast felt it was worth the risk. We attempted a couple different dishes. My wife's eggs were cooked perfectly..over-medium and pretty good bacon. The toast was barely toasted and soaked in melted .. I assume butter. The coffee not so good but drinkable. The fruit was under ripe, my egg & cheese omlete was 50 % cheese ..sounds good right?, and initally it looked good. Unfortunately, it was not warm enough to melt the cheese. The cafe was clean and organized. And for free I hate to complain. For the record the gal at the front desk needs to go away. Today is Thanksgiving and we decided not to cook this year. So we were trying to decide where to go. The few places that were offering dine in; one was charging $23 per plate, drinks not included, while the other was $70 for four plates, drinks not included. One of them didn't even know what they were going to charge till the night before as we kept calling to find out. Roxanne's had a perfect advertisement, which mentioned all the details. They have a huge parking lot, so parking is easy to find. Roxanne's was $25 per person, all-you-can-eat, with free soda refill drinks and juices like Cranberry included in the price. They had a big selection of Thanksgiving favorites, full salad bar, customized omelette bar with all the extras, fried fish, bacon, fried chicken, corn on the cobb, and a whole table full of cakes, pies, cookies, and tarts. Not one employee had a bad attitude. Every employee was friendly, polite, competent and professional. They have cushioned booths, and tables. Their dining room is large with an open airy feeling with large windows with a good view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant is newer and cleaner than the other restaurants. I'm usually quick to complain about bad products & services. Surprisingly, I had only one complaint as I ate way too much and left in pain. If I could give zero stars I would. We tried the cafe bc it's under new management. First of all you don't get real silverware but rather plastic silverware! We ordered breakfast- the menu shows fresh blueberries with the pancakes but what came i. It instead was clearly thawed mushy strawberries. When a 4 yo gives the food thumbs down, that's a situation! Our other items took over 45 minutes even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. When the food did arrive it was truly inedible. Ever have sweet and I seasoned tomato sauce on your huevos rancheros? The rancheros were smothered in the sauce, tortillas were so soggy they fell apart and then to see mozzarella cheese o crop- blech. But then..... there's the eggs Florentine omg- the English muffins not only weren't toasted, they were t even warmed. Then on top of the nicely packed eggs, was more than 2 cups of hollandaise- hollandaise from a mix, not freshly made and so gross tasting. I'm scraped the crap off the two eggs and that was the only edible part of the entire dish. The service was so slow and no explanation and actually no excuse unless the "cook" was on google looking up how to make huevos rancheros and eggs Florentine - but that's a fail bc neither dish was properly made. We took our granddaughter to the restroom and it was so utterly filthy we wouldn't let her use it. If this is new managements idea of good food then I suggest a new manager. The only plus was the server was pleas t albeit not do we ex abt the long wait. It is a NO to ever try again. read more

Breakfast is pretty decent but I will tell you now that I have only been eating here because it's free with my stay at clarion. The food is overall pretty good. Nothing i had was the best I've ever had. It kinda reminds me if I was to make it myself. Pretty simple and to the point breakfast. The service is the main reason I've given it 4 instead of five stars. There is a huge gap in the level of service from the guy that wait table and the girl that waits table. I will just say that she is awesome and he is just what ever. The girl comes back and checks in and the guy doesn't. Maybe he's just having a bad week but I'm betting that just his personality and the sad part is he still collects tips from people that just don't know any better. Overall I would say the place is pretty nice. Don't expect any red carpet treatment. Just decent food and hit and miss service. read more

Came here for breakfast today and really enjoyed the serving size you get what you pay for and it is a big portion. The hash browns and gravy were really good. The restaurant was very clean and modern. I liked the amount of space there was between the tables. Our waitress was very friendly and always smiled. The shortest distance between two people is a smile. She was very nice. The food was delicious and I recommend for anyone who enjoys a big yummy meal. read more

Roxanne's has been remodeled since our last visit. Furniture and layout are more modern. The menu remains the same. We are ok with that because we enjoy our breakfast from Roxanne's when we come into Ridgecrest! The only reason that I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because we ordered from the menu instead of the breakfast buffet and we had a long wait on our food. read more

The food tasted ok, but the overall experience was off-putting. To start, the restaurant lacks some basic equipment like sneeze-guards for the buffett, and proper counters to hold plates and serving containers. Food was placed on what looked to be a random assortment of whatever tables they could find, with various types of tablecloths, ranging in colors. It just looked tacky. As for the service, it was also pretty mediocre. The server and hostess were both friendly enough, but a bit lazy. One customer accidentally dropped his plate on the floor and it ended up shattering. The server didn't say anything. The customer was there on the floor picking up the pieces of food and broken plate. That is totally not cool... the server should have told the customer not to worry about the mess. Overall, the food here is ok but the dining experience is lackluster. read more

Came here for the free breakfast that was included with my stay at Clarion. You pretty much get a choice of whatever you want on the breakfast menu, plus a drink, but no refills, except on coffee. I got the country fried steak, which was decent, right on par with what you'd expect for a cheap/free breakfast. I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it though. Although I could get refills on my coffee, the waitress never came back to fill it, so I only had 1 mug. read more

I'm so freaking impressed by this restaurant which is the official hotel restaurant for the Clarion Hotel. The free breakfast that we were able to pick was Eggs Florentine. It was prepared by a gifted cook. I almost thought I was at the Doubleday. The server was helpful to a tee. What a great Valentines Day in the desert our way to see largest collection of Indian Petroglyphs in the world. Good coffee too. read more

I stayed at the joined hotel; they said you get a free breakfast at Roxanne's. Well, I asked for pancakes to go; the staff at Roxanne's said (not making this up), " We only do cold stuff to go. We usually really enjoy this restaurant but today they were a mess. Sunday rush came in and they have two waitresses running around like chickens with their heads cut off. People were grabbing their own menus, silverware, etc. A few people even left before they were served. They got our order ALL wrong. Omelet over-cooked with rubbery browned eggs. Rancid dirty grill flavor in hash browns. Huevos ranchero came with refried beans rather than black beans as advertised on the menu. Had to send first omelet back due to messed up order, second was even more over cooked. Ordered coffee but it never came. Not fresh tasting food at all. First time in this place. We are locals but it appeared they had a good crowd in from the attached Clarion Hotel. The service was faster than I expected because only one waitress was working. She definitely saved their business this day. Eventually joined by another, less skilled waitress, who at least bussed the tables. The meal took awhile to get but the food quality and freshness was surprisingly very good. When it was time to go we got presented the wrong bill which was double $ of our order. The correct bill was found and I chalked it up to the heavy load the management heaped onto our hapless waitress and tipped her well anyway. Hopefully the management can get some more help in and make this place hum. They've got a pretty good crew that would excel if given some help. read more

We're locals. We eat lunch at Roxanne's 3 or 4 times a week and breakfast on many weekends. Obviously nobody is running the show here! The wait staff tries hard and does a good job under the handicap of obviously untalented management. The food is the best in town, the portions are very generous and the price is very reasonable. It has become the restaurant of choice for us and other locals because of the reasons mentioned above and the very friendly staff. Too bad they're discontinuing their lunch service.....back to peanut butter and jelly at home now! Most of the other places in town are unacceptable due to pricing, cleanliness, improper service, food quality and various other things. Now, if Roxanne's management would listen to the locals, get their act together and give their customers a place to be proud of they'd be packed all day and making money! Also, being locals, we are amazed at how many other locals have no idea that this place even exists, not to mention the fair pricing and good food, although the facility could use a makeover.
