I have been to bare arms three times now. The first time was to try out the facility and discuss booking the venue for our company Christmas party. The store was a little hard to find in an industrial building, but once you are inside, you will find Milwaukee's highest quality public range. The stalls are clean, had good lighting, and there were no ricochets like they have at the shooters shop. They have a simulator that was a lot of fun, but can make you motion sick it is so realistic. It was nice to also have a gunsmith with an office inside. You can rent guns and buy ammo if that is your thing. They also have classes that I did not try. I live downtown so it's a bit of a drive, but it is worth it in the winter when you can't get outside. Staff is nice. You can shoot up to 30 cal rifles and full-auto. They are an FFL and class 3 dealer. Will go back again soon. read more

We have shit at Bear Arms several times now and they have always been friendly and helpful. They are very female friendly which my wife loves. Some places are not female friendly at all. Some places have a no smiling at customers policy, but not Bear Arms. Absolutely AWESOME people. This time we called ahead because we had a group of 8 people. We were running late and they were very accommodating and willing to help. The range is very clean and well lit. The exhaust works great here. You never leave with that nasty taste in your mouth or throat. I say that because one range we visited the exhaust was super horrible! The only bad thing are those people that shoot to just pull a trigger and not attempt to practice a skill. That is at no fault to Bear Arms, you can't help limited knowledge people. Prices are super fair and they also are Blue friendly. I also love that you don't have someone over your shoulder watching your every move. I went to another range that said Slugs only. So I'm shooting slugs, one large hole in target. Someone starts yelling "he is shooting buckshot" Next thing I know someone is over my shoulder, tapping my shoulder asking me what I'm shooting and asking to see my round. I comply but also look at my target like do you see a buckshot hit on the target. I didn't say that just showed them what they wanted. Bear Arms are not those people. The best beginner range in the state the staff is kind attentive and keep the range safe while simultaneously not being overbearing or gate keepy. You can rent different guns to try out and specifically their selection of pistols is great if your trying to figure out what to purchase. The range itself is well ventilated well lit clean and allows for firing most common calibers as fast as you want. This is one of the best indoor gun ranges around. Sparkling clean. Has everything you need to enjoy some fun, indoor shooting. They also have a simulator shooting room with all kinds of shooting scenarios. Very reasonably priced. People are really nice and will make sure you feel comfortable and at ease. A lot bigger inside than I thought it would be. I inquired about memberships while there and they have a lot of membership choices. Am sure to join. It's so great to have a range in Ozaukee county. Out of all the ranges I visit on a regular basis this is by far in my top 2. They are very nice, helpful and friendly. The range is safe and clean. Plus they offer things other ranges do not. The 180 degree simulator is an excellent training tool as well as a fun party option. There are conference rooms and classrooms as well as a private lounge for members. They offer classes and host IDPA events. If anyone is looking for a range that does a great job in balance of male and female patrons as well as great customer service then you should really check out Bear Arms.
