I'm disappointed that our stay did not match the description or expectations created by the listing. The property is advertised as a cabin, but it is actually old motel rooms. There were several issues that made our stay very uncomfortable.
The bathroom sink is located in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom. The shower is extremely tiny--so small that if you drop something, you literally have to get out of the shower in order to bend over and pick it up. Both the shower and toilet leaked water onto the floor.
The front door was also a significant concern. It sticks so badly that it is extremely difficult to open from the inside. There is no conventional doorknob, only a small, slick lever, which made getting out of the room very difficult and felt unsafe.
The listing also advertised Wi-Fi, but there was no usable Wi-Fi inside the room. You can connect to it outside the room, but as soon as you go inside, the connection drops. With no Wi-Fi, we expected at least a TV, but there wasn't one either.
For two people staying two nights, there was only one package of (for 4 cup maker) coffee provided. That may seem like a small issue, but combined with everything else, it added to the feeling that the room was not adequately prepared for our stay.
Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. We were so miserable that we decided to leave after only one night and go home, forfeiting the second night we had already paid for.
I understand that this is an older property, and I don't expect luxury accommodations. However, I do expect the accommodations to accurately reflect the listing and for basic amenities and safety features to function as advertised. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again. read more
