The layout of this campground consists of four loops. A, B, C, D, and each loop has a numbered sites. Each campsite has a table and a fire ring. Park your car correctly and you can ensure to make your spot more private. Under a canopy of trees which are beautiful. The bathroom has running toilets and is well lit. Making nighttime walks to the bathroom less scary, lol. The camp host came over to introduce herself and warn about the crows. Apparently they were rampant and able to attack and tear up campsites if you leave anything out. A very quiet area and super close to Rialto Beach. Which I would not recommend walking to as there is no trail and you'd have to walk on the road. A great central location to explore the Olympic Peninsula. Very nice spot to get back into camping. The campground is clean, tables and large shade umbrellas are all new. Porta Potties are ample and close to sites (without being too close!). Dish washing stations are handy as well. Note that there is no electricity and potable water is available nearby but not right in the campground. Don saved the day for us when we were prepared to leave but our car battery had died. He gave us a jump and sent us off with a smile. Highly recommend!

I got a little emotional as I recalled them being so small, and cut to now, how fast time flew. Their memories of this place were so fond. We checked off a bucket list item though- we told ourselves that the next time we come back, we'd have a bonfire on the beach and that's exactly what we did! This business has a very long history of negative reviews, descriptions of vile, unwelcoming, rude,…read moreabusive, toxic, and unprofessional behavior spanning more than a decade. Reviews I wish we had read before subjecting ourselves and our group to the wholly unacceptable abusive behavior of the owner. Our small group of fewer than 10 adults were the only people at the property upon checking in. The first words owner Rob Snyder spoke was "I hate groups" while continuing with "they drain my resources." If this wasn't the only game in town, we would have turned heel right then. I suspect this captive audience situation is THE reason the owner has been able to stay in business for so long. Ok, so there's 30+ campsites and 3 rustic cabins on the property. Assuming a full house with just two guests at each site, that's 66 guests. But 9 tenters occupying two campsites were referenced as resource drains. Every one of our group who interacted with the owner over a two-day period was treated with abusive behavior. Three in our group arrived before the two organizers and immediately left to wait off property because of the abuse they received upon walking through the door. We ended up leaving the property before our planned departure because of the owner's abusive behavior. An article hangs on the wall in the storefront about how owner Rob Snyder created this place as a community social hub. Ironic that this precious land has become home to the most negative energy and mean spiritedness that everyone in our group has ever experienced from a lodging proprietor anywhere in their travels. The experience made exponentially worse because our group was comprised mostly of outdoorists of color who felt vulnerable to begin with and were all new to this rural area. Guests we brought here because we expected the environment to be physically and emotionally safe (again, we should have read the reviews and literally stayed anywhere except there). Guaranteed none of us will be returning to this property under the current ownership - and will not be returning under new ownership until there are multiple years of positive online reviews. Guaranteed we are spreading the word about the inhospitable experience and toxic behavior of the owner. This property is currently for sale for $2 million dollars.

Bathrooms were well maintained, clean, and conveniently located next to the market. Your a 10 minute walk from the ozette ranger station which accesses some amazing trails to Cape Alva and the Wedding Rock petroglyphs. We even got to see some bears!! Will definitely be back to come camp here again. Gorgeous scenery and fresh air away from the city.

He showed us the bathroom, shower and laundry facilities, then walked us over to the available campsites. It's a family-friendly campground, with a store, a small pool, and even a small car-pulled train/wagon for kids. We appreciated the clean bathrooms and warm hospitality.

Massive sculptural sea stacks rise along the shoreline, rugged and dramatic. The beach is strewn with driftwood, some pieces arranged so naturally they feel like art instillations. Its name comes from the subtle reddish mineral flecks in the sand, which glow beautifully when the sun hits them. We loved exploring this area, and it's absolutely a must-stop if you're anywhere near Forks. Vault restrooms are available just off the parking lot; they're basic and don't have running water. Because this beach is part of Olympic National Park, you'll need to pay the daily entrance fee or better yet, grab an America the Beautiful Pass for access to all national parks. I wouldn't recommend walking barefoot or swimming here. The water stays around 45-55°F year-round, the waves are powerful, and the surf can be unpredictable. This is a place to admire, wander, and soak in the wild beauty of the coast.
