We stopped in for lunch, as Bear Creek is a usual for my family. A family member of mine is on a very limited diet, due to health concerns so she appreciates the ability to customize her meal. We have ordered here many times while I have been in town and unfortunately nearly every single time they have messed up our order, not made part of our order, or even burnt it. Our last experience, we ordered an appetizer with our pizza. After about 35 minutes, I mentioned the appetizer. She said she would check on it. She came back to tell us that part of the ticket went missing... which I'm unsure of how part of a piece of paper is missing. This unfortunately has happened numerous times. We were also overcharged for the veggie pizza, that we only added chicken to. Instead of adding a charge of chicken, we were charged for every single topping, a total of $30 for a medium pizza. In all the issues we have had and brought to their attention, not once have they offered to comp anything or apologized. The pizza tasted great, along with the egg roll appetizer, but the customer service needs work. This could be a great local pizza parlor, but the staff needs better training and customer service skills if you want to keep people coming back.

The little town of Molalla is home to some good pizza and wings at Bear Creek... can't go wrong with a yummy pizza made to order, some deliciously tasty wings and appetizers, and a few good salads. Every time I've been here, the service staff has been cheerful, with smiles on their faces, ready with a drink fill-up and quickly removing our finished dishes. My friend and I ordered appetizers for dinner: raspberry chipotle bone-in wings, fried mozzerella sticks, honey garlic bone-in wings and Santa Fe chicken wraps (think deep-fried cheesy chicken "egg rolls") served with an avocado poblano ranch dipping sauce. Rounding out our dinner taste sensations with sauces - including ranch, blue cheese and marinara - made for a very filling meal. In fact, the two of us couldn't finish it all! Good thing we didn't order salads, right? Open seven days a week, Bear Creek offers both bone-in and boneless chicken wings with numerous wing sauces, a tasty variety of desserts including cheesecake, a full bar, and of course, those handmade-to-order pizzas in all "flavors." Not sure what to order? Get a Buckeroo pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and olives and celebrate the town that brings us the Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo every year (except during the recent pandemic shut-down of everything "gathering" related). Eating here as a vegan/plant-eater is only a little challenging but I took a night off from my non-animal-eating and enjoyed the yumminess that Bear Creek has to offer. My other visits here have been happily accommodated with vegan-ized pizza and salad sans the cheeses and meats. I think Bear Creek can cover anyone's bases, no matter what they eat.

So normal little pizza parlor With a bunch of young kids working their first job so I've been here a few times seems to be the only pizza parlor in town But it seems like every bar out here does pizzas as well, so I'm gonna have to try around, not particularly fond of their crust and I tried the peanut butter pepperoni, this time which turned out to be a big no very dry, very greasy very hard, burnt crust real peanut butter flavor and just overall not good

Every town has to have a great local Pizza place and in Molalla that place is Bear Creek Pizza & Pub. My wife and I recently moved to Molalla and thought we'd give Bear Creek Pizza a try. We were not to be disappointed! We ordered the Bear Creek Supreme which came with Pepperoni, Sausage, Salami, Mushrooms, olives and Onion. I was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to see how many toppings were on this pizza. But most importantly was the crust. This was a perfectly cooked crust with corn meal, which gave it a nice crispy crust. Also, a mention to their panini sandwiches which are an excellent sandwich for the price. Give Bear Creek Pizza a try, you won't be disappointed.

We got here a bit early on the weekday at 2:50p. They open at three so we waited until they opened. They had some great lunch specials. I had the turkey club with a salad. It was good. I'd never seen tomatoes on a club before but it was good. They had a variety of drinks but we stuck to tea and soda as it was a work day. This looks like a great place for cocktails. Now that I got the bad taste in my mouth from former friends I will definitely be back.

Even when I tried to pay the second round, she told the bartender not to accept my payment. haha Even if I had paid, I would still like this place and their cocktails. It is a nice atmosphere, not too loud, comfortable seating, warm whimsical decorations, friendly service, and clean bathrooms. They have a large list of cocktails, mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages, as well as beer and wine. They can make all the traditional cocktails. A regular told me the manhattan is top notch, but the cherries aren't the best he's seen. Cherry seemed alright to me. They also have several house cocktails and a few specials to choose from. Between us 4, we tried several different cocktails. We even tried the house cocktail designed for the bitterest of liqueurs, Jeppson's Malört. All were deemed tasty by all! They offer several food items from a full kitchen, including appetizers, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, and dinner. They even have veggie burger, gluten free crackers, and gluten free (GF) fried chicken! ! ! Free parking on the street. No minors allowed, bummer...l'd like it better if kids were allowed, but it's so good it's gets the 5th star. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

The tables were clean and well kept, and the use of "half umbrellas" against the side of a building was a thoughtful touch. We were seated right away, and our drink orders taken right away. Our server did an excellent job, although he apologized for not coming back in time to bring me another Black Butte Porter (which I didn't plan to refill, anyway; even though it was excellent on tap). We placed an order for the "Bavarian Pretzel" appetizer, which was advertised to have a "mustard sauce" with it, and we also paid extra for their "Queso Cheese Dip". The bread itself was quite delicious, but the mustard sauce was just honey mustard salad dressing (disappointing), and the cheese appeared to be melted processed pepper jack cheese. The cheese dip was good with the bread, but we had a lot of dip leftover after the 3 pieces of bread. For a main course, I went with the Spicy Jalapeno Burger, but opted for Crispy Chicken, instead of a hamburger patty. The burger was massive, and consisted of multiple crispy chicken tenders, instead of one large chicken patty -- which is all good, but did make it tricky to eat, as the multiple pieces wanted to slide around. It was very good, but I think I would try the actual burger next time. I chose French fries for my side, and was disappointed that they were "battered" fries, which are not my favorite. The portion was also a little on the skimpy side. I would definitely come back again, even if there are a few small things that keep me from giving top marks.

After getting sat down, we just... waited. For about 10-15 minutes, nobody showed up. Eventually a server came and took our order in a very disinterested fashion. We ordered a cocktail, the bruschetta appetizer, and then a burger, the king salmon and a plate of chicken pasta in white sauce for the little one. Everything took forever to come out (even the drink), nobody came out to check or refill waters in the 90 minutes we were there. Cocktail (Spring Break) - 5/5 great! Bruschetta - 3/5. Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). Total bill for everyone, with tip: $126 So pretty mediocre food, downright bad service, and premium pricing. It's a pass from me!

If you only hit one craft cocktail bar on your visit to Portland, make it this one…read more Wax Social is a speakeasy and vinyl listening lounge tucked inside a Best Western in the West Hills.. and I mean that in the best way possible. Super moody lighting, hundreds of framed musician photos covering every wall, warm comfortable seating, and a custom hi-fi sound system that will rearrange your expectations for what a speakeasy bar and listening lounge can be. It's a hidden gem in the most literal sense: no signage on the outside and nothing to tip you off as you enter the building. To find Wax Social you walk through the hotel lobby at 9900 SW Canyon Rd, up a staircase left of the registration desk, and look around until you find a frosted glass door marked "Listening Lounge." Open it. You'll be glad you did. Start with the cocktails. The menu is split between elevated timeless classics and original house creations, and both sections of this cocktail menu can bang. The King of Pain is rum-forward and finished with an orange coconut foam that looks as good as it tastes. The Watermelon Man showcases Japanese gin and elderflower in a refreshing and complex profile that's hard not to love. The Sweetest Taboo is a mezcal drink built around blue maize, red bell pepper, pineapple, and lime that hits that rare combination of bold and perfectly balanced. Light My Fire brings blanco tequila and Ancho Reyes together with habanero bitters for real depth. If you want to wander off-menu, they can handle that flawlessly too. Over several visits I've enjoyed a Paper Plane, Tommy's Margarita, Gimlet, Last Word, Too Soon, and others, all executed perfectly. On one visit, the guy next to me at the bar was visiting Portland from Sweden and ordered a Flip. I've been to a lot of craft cocktail bars and never heard someone order one. Clayton, one of the bartenders, didn't blink. Went right to work making a luxurious Flip from memory that the customer couldn't stop raving about. I was impressed. Clayton is also working on several rum-forward cocktails coming to the menu later this summer - I love rum drinks enough to say that sitting at the bar talking shop and the concepts he's tinkering with is worth a visit on its own. Full mocktail lineup, plus wine, bubbles, and craft beers. Now about the sound system. DJs spin all-vinyl sets of funk, soul, R&B, and deep cuts across decades on a custom hi-fi setup that sounds absolutely incredible. Even when the DJ is in full flow and the music is turned up, you can still hold an easy conversation with a group of six or eight people. I've been there with a large group in the back corner on couches and comfortable chairs and everyone kept commenting on it. The music is present and powerful and somehow never swallows the laughter and conversation happening around you. They clearly built this bar around the music. The food is a genuine surprise for a craft cocktail lounge. Think small plates/tapas in terms of dining style: you come for the drinks and next thing you know you've ordered half the menu, made a dinner of it, and somehow backed into a beautiful evening of food, drink, and music. Must-orders: ahi poke nachos, deviled eggs, braised pork gnocchi. Don't overlook the shaved asparagus and white bean salad with sherry vinaigrette, Manchego, and crispy shallots. Simple and elegant and every bit as good as the more indulgent plates. Steak bites and shrimp are worth ordering too. Bring friends so you can order more and share. Owners Sean and Travis are present most nights, greeting you at the door and checking in at your table. That care shows in everything here, including a staff that knows how to read the room. A few things worth knowing: parking is easy, the location is simple to reach from Portland or Beaverton, and the bathrooms are spotless. Open late on weekends. Whether you're planning a romantic date night in Portland, a special occasion, a group night out, or just a solo evening at the bar with someone who really knows cocktails, this is your spot. Among the best craft cocktail and listening lounge experiences in the greater Portland metro area. You've gotta check it out.

The atmosphere is such a vibe. there's always a great DJ, making it perfect for either a date night or a girls night out. The menu is made up of smaller plates, which makes it so much fun to order a variety of dishes and share with the table. The menu was a little different each time I visited, and honestly, there wasn't a single thing I didn't enjoy. The drinks are SO good, and everything is beautifully plated.
